Install and before/after clips for the EOS carbon fiber gauge cluster cover on my 2023 Z51 C8 Corvette. This piece really makes the dash trim pop! IG: Laz.c8
Looks good brother. I could have sworn you already had the Stealth Interior Package from the factory. Nevertheless, these aftermarket trim pieces are a great idea. However, I have a hard time trusting them out here in the Arizona desert. Adhesives fail miserably under our brutal heat index. Too bad the Carbon Fiber Trim is a $1500 option from GM. Unfortunately, (and to GM's credit) they market the interior options as such. Meaning, you must select both the Stealth Interior _and_ the Carbon Fiber trim if you want to delete most of the silver trim pieces throughout the cabin. That adds up to a total of $2095 just for those two options alone. Clever marketing on GM's part. What I find odd (or even frustrating) is the overall cost of carbon fiber. For a man-made, synthetic product that is over 65 years old. We _still_ pay ridiculous amounts of money just for the added flair. Technology has rapidly advanced and carbon fiber is technically a thing of the past. Don't get me wrong, carbon fiber still has its place but it has been surpassed by other materials. Yet, for some odd reason it is still marketed and sold as though it is the latest and greatest technology. Strange times we are living in ladies and gentlemen. At least we have our little Corvette cocoons. It's a great place to escape and just decompress. Stay classy my friend.
Hey man, new to the channel. I'm speccing my C8 out now, and one of the major hinges is coupe vs. hard top convertible. Can I ask what most impacted your decision to get the coupe? Almost everyone says price or seeing the engine. If price was no object, would you go with a hard top convertible since you can now swap out the cover for a transparent top so you can see the engine now? Thanks very much, and beautiful car.
Welcome and thanks! Obviously I'm a bit biased, but I would pick coupe every time. You can peek through the rear window and see the beautiful engine bay at all times time, plus I can see engine behind me through inside window while inside. Bit more wow-factor imo. Can remove the top of the coupe whenever I want. I don't think there's a wrong answer, but I do not regret passing on vert.
@@Lazc8 Thanks very much for the reply. I went with a black HTC because I couldn't get over the top down look. Like you said, no wrong decision. Again, gorgeous ride!

How do u make ur car so shiny
Hand wash with foam cannon / two bucket to avoid any swirls, and keep it topped off with a ceramic sealant. Its a lot of work, but worth it.
