I lost it when he was drawing with the marker and it squeaked a little and he said, "....they probably make that sound too." But for real Sam is amazing!!
This is why I backed out of consulting 1 on 1 and started building my own products and email list. High end coaching is still there but the business does not need it to operate at a good profit. The digital 'how to' products and memberships are the foundation. Later I can add live events maybe. I will survey my audience later on and create wants and needs based products too. Even offer an affiliate program paying those who refer my products. Thanks so much Sam for making this info available for free to the public. I would believe you have something in the works to offer those like me who see this example working in their business!!! I'm on your list!
Thank you for this perspective on scalability & the Flywheel! My only suggestion is for future videos, can you either put subtitles for the other people talking, or repeat their question before answering it? It's difficult to get the context of your answer if we couldn't hear the question.
There are three types of growth: exponential, polynomial and linear. Probably add logistic growth too (exhibits characteristics of first 3 at different stages) for four types.
Extremely helpful to a project I am working on right now. As a visual thinker this helps to set what is needful to the wheel for growth and what should be less of a priority.
OMG!That´s so good! I love it! I was thinking about 1on1 and then I thought..but after 7 clients a month i have to stop..or 10! Cause quality is the most important for me as you call it "customer experience", there are a lots of coaches doing "group program" but the customer exp is suffering a loot in that case!....looove itt!!
AMAZING VALUE!! The true secret behind a successful business. This was hard for me understand at first since I run a client based business. It makes sense now how to open up more time.
Diminishing marginal returns of labor 10:34 at a certain point you stop scaling because adding another employee brings lesser benefit than it does cost.
Awesome insight. "For every 1 customer, the experience must get better" though I believe that's true mostly for chicken & egg kind of businesses but for businesses that every new customer doesn't make any change on experience either up or down I think this may be applicable like this to get the similar exponential effect "every 1 customer should bring at least 1 more customer" such as Dropbox?
Sam, I have a question for you. At 23:00, you are talking about your progress and self-iteration. If you would have to start all over again, would you start with the highest vision of offering ''consulting in any niche'' or you would still start with ''consulting local businesses on how to do digital marketing''? Thank you friend, I'm learning and trying to get to you as fast as I can haha! Cheers!
Great info. I just left an organization that was trying to clone themselves in every person in the organization. I call them cookie cutter companies and not sure why so many people try that model. It will only work if the person is already like you.
I think Amazon has been able to be exponentially grow due to technology change, with people accessing “shops” with electronic devices. Traditional businesses are linear, they have one CS dealing with one customer. Amazon removed CS for convenience and offset it with easy returns. Their growth are based on large base of linear growth of each small business and family. Yet it can be challenged by new technology such as AI. I think all growths are not linear, such as 0 income from university learning years to six digit figures even in first year at work. But that happens only a few times in a lifetime.
Great stuff. I know there's a lot more to this I'm not sure why any dumb dumb watching this would think everything would be covered for free and in 28 minutes. Just from this you're opening my eyes to how these businesses scale.
Actually, I have expirienced this kind of knowledge during my Bachelor studies of agriculture. My professor explained this on other examples. He asked us to explain why milk from EU producers is much more affordable than milk from Balcan? Simply becouse EU has greater production, more customers on the market and lower production cost.
Let's do a multi nutrition analysis of both milks and the inputs needed to start each "production". Thus large operations have big overhead and needed subsidiaries.
UA-cam has a flywheel effect! Ok but can we apply the flywheel to a personal brand? For example, let's say i am trying to create an Art personal brand, where I'm the artist, but how can I make a system where i grow exponentially? If i want to do a course, then to not have an anti flywheel effect maybe I'd have to automate things and make it a premade (recorded) one, in order to not require my physical time and presence. Money making would be automated. Right? Are there other ways for a flywheel effect about a personal brand
That's something to think about. How do you differenciate X-Y=XX from X-Y=XY? I tried to do the same thing with English teaching courses in Ukraine, but only few people believe in it. Thus they are willing to contribute to anti-flyweels.
I think some of these ideas are not enough "strong" or "solid" to convince all audience... mainly with people that have success and great experience in making profitable businesses... perhaps this speech would be useful only for people that want to start their own business...
LOL dude that's what makes Sam such a fucking boss. He has relentless focus on creating more value. He works out and exercises to be healthy and to push himself. 0 fucks given for trying to look good.

Great tips Sam! Never heard of the flywheel but man it really sets the tone for a monster self fulfilling successful business.

I wish I could have started following you years ago!.
Is this above my head?
Amaizing Sam!!! As soloprenours is so important to build a healthy flywheel, this is business lifechanging !!
This brought me so much value bro. Thank you

thanks for another great video.... love the office, just curious what the name plate says!?

Thanks for this video - are there any resources to help companies identify, map and create flywheel processes across the business?
This is called “network effects”, they teach this in most business schools
I just checked and you right as well, that's dope. I checked it out.
what do u mean by business school here ??
@@vimalcurio A business school in college
He mentions this in the video
Great value as always. Thanks Sam!
How would a flywheel model work within the coatings industry? Powder coating, blast cleaning, wet painting services?

I'm a fan Sam you got a like a listen & agreement & and an eyebrow raise & a beard stroke.

Does that nameplate say "FUCK OFF" ?? If so where can I get one? lol
I love this idea, how do you do this with a service business. This is great for shipping, software, but for flooring where you physically doing it.
Brilliant! thank you Sam
Great info. I just left an organization that was trying to clone themselves in every person in the organization. I call them cookie cutter companies and not sure why so many people try that model. It will only work if the person is already like you.
Sam, great lecture! I have a quick question: does a flywheel pertain to product sales?
Hey @Steven, yes it does. A flywheel can be adapted to most businesses including product businesses.
That marker noise was awesome.
Im watching this in 2024! Sam is on another level 🔥
This is great. Thank you
I don't care how much money I can make, I just want hair like his.
Lmao. noice!
he's building out that course right now
$1,995 , $5,999 a year for the mastermind

1. The more people the more dilution of the core energy. But if you hire RIGHT it can grow core energy.
This is freaking amazing

So in a way, a flywheel is a network of network effects?
2:51 My new SMART marketing goal: Go WHOOF just BAM up like that
10:14 Goal #2: Not go vfff!
They are some kind of self evolving systems....

Thanks sam! I think this is called "Network effect" generally
He says that in his seminar at 18:46 if you'd just be patient and watch the whole thing.
Yeah I heard. Thanks
then why did you post that comment? Don't try to cover up your redundancy
You're right. I'm sorry

I'm not sure what you mean by that?
So then a time share and a pyramid scheme would be considered prime examples of a Flywheel.

I think this dude has misunderstood the flywheel concept. Check out an academic author named Jim Collins for a correct explanation
Todimu Ojo-Aromokudu yeah he was quite a bit off on the flywheel concept
