Love wins all is even sadder when you realise that iu is deaf and tae is blind in one eyes, so the ending gets so much more emotional as you realise that iu is covering taes good eye so he doesn’t see what coming 😭😭

The cube is meant to represent society and how badly it treat anyone who is "different". In the MV IU is deaf while Tae is blind in one eye but since they love each other they don't see those flaws. When we see them through the camera's lens it shows how they see each other - beautiful, perfect and the world is full of life and color because they have that love. Even in the darkest moments having that one person by your side can make it bearable. The ending killed me when IU covers his one good eye and her angelic voice along with the storytelling makes this a real masterpiece and I want to see them in a kdrama together.

Seriously, IU’s album The Winning is a masterpiece. Every song is such a diamond. Every music video is a visual delight. IU is a true musical genius. She is definitely deservedly at the top of the industry.

Who else could or would release 3 different mvs - so very different from each other - yet all 3 are perfect. I suspect that if Love Wins All weren't so good, either Shopper or Holssi would be contenders for Video of the Year.

@hannahren102 I agree but definitely check out BoA! She's slightly older than IU but also started in her teen years like IU and basically built SM entertainment to what it is today. I love both IU and BoA ❤ phenomenal artists ❤🎉

IU "Love Wins All"
V's character is blind in one eye... it's why she touches that eye when first looking through the camera, and covers the other eye at the end(so he won't see the end). Protecting him, while she faces it head one. And it took Me more than one viewing to notice this.
They both appear to be Mute... to have "No Voice" in their world or in their life/futures.
Love wins all is so hard hitting. For me, I can relate on a metaphorical level. I had a girlfriend, we reached the height of our love. We were so happy and we agreed to marry. One week after, she got diagnosed with stomach cancer stage 4B. 6 month after she died. So in my story, the cube is cancer, just, it only took my girlfriend and left me here.
It's so well done. Song. Video. Acting. VFX. it's perfect. IU is a true master of her art.

this what makes IU more unique because mostly the MV of other korean band and idols when making MV and Music nowadays is less than 3 mins of MV's but IU making her comebacks was effortly special and always have a story in her MV that's proven and tested that IU is a Hardworker to her Uaena's

IU is amazing. I cried when I saw Love Wins All, such a beautiful song and MV
Firstly, the introduction. I really like the narration and the colors as if it were the beginning of a film. The accompaniment truly feels like a movie soundtrack... and with the addition of IU's unique voice, it tickles even more and feels like cotton candy. In the scene where she gets into the car, the music is muffled for a moment, but that's my personal directing preference. I'm so happy as a fan of DPR IAN and IU that this crossover happened! It looks like they had a lot of fun filming this amazing music video and I'm so happy! Big well deserved props to Ian for creating this masterpiece of a video to match IU's amazing music and vocals!!!❤👏👏

This music video broke my heart. it's so beautiful but too sad. i think the thing that this mv means is that even though it takes our life, we can get over any dangerous situations with someone who we love. love get us great courage to win something bad. for that reason, she seems to sing the song, love wins all.
