Hai Timothy I am export from photoshop to an png and then in an dds converter program that works for me. My settings for the dds I am exporting it as dxt5 as format
so after I did everything my file showed up in the livery utilities but I didn't know where to export it to so I started over everything again but this time the file didn't show up ,how can I make it show up again and where do I export it to?
Hai @bobialhusaini9842 , once you are in the livery utilities and select your file that you make and the hit after that export then it makes an PTP file so the install is after this more easyer for you with this PTP file for friends or what you want to do with it.... you only have to remember where you save this file to...., if for any reason the file not shows up in the utilities then most likely the names are not good its has to read the correct order to read it in this program to export it in the good way....if that makes any sense for you......i hope its helps you to get going and make more awesome livery's for this bird :-)
@@danieldh3 yes I tried that but I don't see my folder name on the livery utilities anymore I redid everything 3 times and I still can't see it but even when I could see it I still wasn't able to export it to anywhere
@@bobialhusaini9842 if you do not see the folder in any case then it’s the structure of the folder and also then names inside the cfg file that is not align with it , my suggest is begin a new folder map and with a working folder map from a another livery that is working correctly from there on begin to only edited the things just as in my video and it should work look very closely that all these things must match the same name identically in order to work , one little missing letter or space in between and it’s not showing you it in the map utilities anymore because it become corrupt in the file structure and it’s not reading it as it should ( try not to change to much more into this cfg file as this is also very fast not working anymore it’s tricky. So pay attention of this and I hope it helps you there further with your project
Hai MikazukiSakura ch , if export doesn’t work mostly likely is there something wrong inside the aircraft.cfg and the names that should be same as the texture folder name and your aircraft.cfg as well that I highlighted yellow in the video , I hope I helped you forward and it works now. Thanks for watching my video and have a very nice day :-)
Hey THE GTA Kid , most likely you should look in the name of your texture folder matches what exactly like in your aircraft.cfg , I have highlighted in this tutorial in yellow , if that is good then the next thing you can check is your texture folder is has the right names as you could better take an existing livery for it and goes from there on , I hope it helped you go forward and it’s working now for you.
Okay Daniel, so what program/website do you use to covert your files please?
Hai @paulnorris5430 , i use photoshop for paints and an old dds converter 2.1 but it does do the job good :-)
So, Im repainting in PS what settings to export to DDS do I need to set when Im exporting?

so how do I create the PTP file for the OP center to install?
Inside op Center you can select your livery and hit export then it creates an ptp file for your livery
After following every instructions exactly. I go to export and it fails..
