I put a 2nd battery in my storage cage to maximize top speed and range, and I suggest you do the same. This bike is begging for that extra battery amp hours. I'm 6'1" 260lbs, and I get between 35-37 mph every time I ride. As the battery goes down so does the speed, but I've never gone below 32mph. A fantastic city cruiser, and work commuter. That's what my experience has been so far. 500 miles on the odometer.

Should i still purchase this model in 2024? I was also looking at the Ariel 52V X-Class, Lyric Grafitti (not the X), Volcon Brat and other comparable models. I read somewhere that we shouldn't buy a ebike with only a 750 watt motor. Im gonna be using it to commute on city streets approximately 12 miles a day

I like the frame enough to want to upgrade it to 72V w/a 3-5kW motor like MrCentralDriver's, but I wanted to keep the mag wheels, so I just kept the stock rear wheel and it does OK for the price.
I have a new 55ah battery coming in from powerful lithium to replace my 30ah one. I'm going to run it in parallel with the stock battery. 75ah total in the end

That bike looks HEAVY... and super awkward to get out of the box. But it seems like it's got some fatty wheels that would be good for some off road riding.
That's because he didn't open the box correctly. They're 4 white clips at the bottom. If you remove those clips, the box lifts right up. Like a big screen TV box does.

Curious to see how much the range would improve with a second battery and a battery blender put on it or hooking up a higher Capacity battery on the Revv1 to see if the controller would burn out or if it's strong enough for longer ride durations... like a stress test ?
I added a 52v, 30ah, 60amp bms battery in my cage. I rode for 50 miles in city environment with no controller issues. I have 500 miles on it so far, and I ride in off road mode with boost mode enabled full time. Throttle only btw, I only pedal when I see a cop car.

Is it interesting, cool, and well-designed? Sure. But... is it an ebike? Not so much. If this machine happens to not need registration in your jurisdiction, don't worry, it will. It's clearly an electric moped, giving me flashbacks of my Motobecane Mobylette, and by a strange coincidence, carries the mandatory lighting and horn that moped class vehicles are required to carry. Of course, as a registered motor vehicle, it would no longer be eligible for bike infrastructure. If this class of vehicle has escaped legislative notice in your area, congratulations. What's up dawg!!
Inja 8 inches deep 😅😂😮
E-bikes with more than a 550 watt motor are illegal on the street in the US and are limited to 20 mph. Ride it like that and in time get a ticket for ridding in the vehicle lane.
lol karen
False. 😆
I thought it was 28 mph
Is it interesting, cool, and well-designed? Sure.
But... is it an ebike? Not so much. If this machine happens to not need registration in your jurisdiction, don't worry, it will. It's clearly an electric moped, giving me flashbacks of my Motobecane Mobylette, and by a strange coincidence, carries the mandatory lighting and horn that moped class vehicles are required to carry.
Of course, as a registered motor vehicle, it would no longer be eligible for bike infrastructure.
If this class of vehicle has escaped legislative notice in your area, congratulations. It is an absolute guarantee that some moron will blow past a city councilman or a state representative enjoying the bike path with his little children, and that regulatory holiday honeymoon will be over.
Take that noisy thing back
To expensive for the speed my scooter is little bit more than half the price almost twice as fast
What scooter do you have?
@@TheInja zondoo zo03 I have gone 52 mph I weighed around 270
@@herbsfood4859 Crazy! But I bet a grizzly bear will still catch you.
Range is poor for this price
Not really, considering I was going 38mph the whole way (much faster than other bikes in this class)
Just way too small for the average rider.
it's definitely not small. I was very comfortable on it, i'm 6'3"
@@TheInja and you look like an adult riding a child’s bike. That will be why it ends up collecting dust in your garage.
@@AtomicB-zq2cw nah I already sold it to a 6'4" dude haha
