Yasuke was not a samurai, he was Koshō - Kosho is a young man serving a busho, a koshō acted as a bodyguard, secretary, attendant and sometimes a lover for their lord. Similar to a squire, a koshō was the son of another high- ranking samurai. To Oda, Yasuke was essentially a servant that would sometimes be used to carry Oda's sword or used to entertain his guest or himself.
And barely spoke japanese and was Oda's retainer for like 3 years, until Nobunaga's death

Japanese setting seems awesome, but yet once again the story and characters have nothing to do with Assassins (except the hidden blade perhaps)
Why does it say online play optional on the store for this game. Cud we have multiplayer? It wud be good as we have 2 main character players. It'd make sense and wud be good to have it included

We don't know. Naoe is from a Shinobi village but we don't know if they're/she's an assassin or has connections to the brotherhood
On the Ubisoft website it declares she is an Assassin. Im guessing the Shinobi will be Ubisoft’s version of the Japanese Assassins. It doesn’t say that Yasuke is. But I’m guessing that this game is aiming to please old school fans with Assassin gameplay and lore as well as fans as the newer RPG combat based games
@@jdicky2020 it says shinobi assassin. We don't know for sure if the classic brotherhood assassin is meant

Assassin's Creed has always been about an order of freedom fighters who are resisting the threat of fascist systems. The assassins constantly preach equality and regularly includes societally disadvantaged people in their order. Altair himself spoke about the abuse and subjugation of women and other marginalized groups in his codex, specifically on page 14. The games have always been woke.
