Although there are some who are disappointed over color, I for one am not one of them. My disappointment is that there are so many other established characters in the lore who are a part of the Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins. Those who would be alive at this exact time period in the game. Characters like Hattori Hanzō who was a mission to retrieve the sword of eden from a Templar in Japan, who has some very crucial assassinations under his belt and eventually becomes a master assassin. Or there is another assassin during this time period named Yamauchi Taka (a former monk) who is the one who assassinates Oda Nobunaga among many others. My problem is, this is already established lore from the AC wiki. Why don’t we get play as these characters who are already well established and actually members of the Assassins guild in Japan.
Still holding out for gameplay but what has been said in this video I am now very interested in this installment . It sounds like they have taken the feedback from previous games and made substanial changes to give the fans what they want.
Im sorry for Yasuke but in AC I don't like to fight. I like to take my time and to shadowly free outposts and places. Or I'll try to use him for that as well!
About number 30: people will always find something to complain about and yes some of the editions are overpriced but most important thing, Assassin's Creed fans....WE'RE GETTING AC IN JAPAN, FINALLY!!!! 😁😁
I haven't been this excited for an assassins creed game since Black Flag. I cant wait for this! Now the price BS is an entirely different and infuriating story.
Despite The negative rep from let's just say certain individuals online, It's only that certain individuals because according to known leaker of this very game, pre-orders are skyrocketing and we don't even have gameplay yet
Going purely off of Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, I can't say that I'm feeling any different about this game compared to the previous. We've yet to see much of anything substantial, but I don't really get the impression that Ubi has learned much from the previous 3 games. Origins can be mostly forgiven for being the first (and tbh it was probably the best of the 3) but Odyssey and Valhalla took steps forward and steps backward, and ALL had the typical Ubisoft issues. I fully expect it to be a solid 7/10 experience with too much checkbox gameplay, somewhat janky controls, bland and forgettable story, and be riddled with microtransaction issues, which is a shame because 15 years ago an AC game set in an open world in Japan would have been an absolute slam dunk, but now all I see are people saying not to pre-order (justified) and that Yasuke is a problem. The only real reason I bought Odyssey and Valhalla were because I had some hope they had improved the games and they have really good trophy lists. But each time I didn't really feel like I played a really nice game. They're just soulless and whatever. I don't see anything from Shadows indicating anything different.
This game so far sounds like a step in the right direction. It's baffling to think that for all the time AC has existed, lighting as a gameplay element for stealth has never been a thing, despite other games having this for decades now. All in all it sounds like a lot more passion has been put into developing this game and I look forward to seeing the outcome
Oh no, a black man was never a samurai. ubisoft is historically incorrect 🤬😡 Also ubisoft: female spartan, female viking chief, Leonardo DaVinci making Weapons for Assassins, Connor in attendance for the declaration of independence, Jack the ripper being an Assassin, Julis Caesar killed by an Assassin, Blackbeard Crewmates with an Assassin, oh yh and in Noah 2 they made a diplomat a samurai, no outcry but yh this is where we draw the line, yh alright it's 2024 man first everyone is a Social Activists now a Japanese Historian 👍🏻 bruh if you like it you like it you don't you don't LMAO 😂

Well the like to dislike ratio on the trailer, the fall in Ubisofts shares and the fact the majority of people hate this show you what the general view of this game is.
All this game needs is more side missions that have actual depth not those crappy little side stuff we got with Valhalla and I don’t mind the game being as long as Valhalla but it needs more and good side content for that to work.
the return of traditional eagle vision makes me really happy. never liked the birds in the AC games. i Loved it in far cry Primal however. but i think it should have stayed there.

I consider my self conservative, not the alt right freaks, but mostly conservative, and i found the constant bitching about how Ubisoft has gone woke and how its not historically accurate to be annoying. Like you're no better than the people you complain about if we're nitpicking a fictional video game. Could they have gone with a Japanese samurai? Sure, but Yasake seems like a beast and i cant wait to play as him.
Oh I just wanna enjoy a game with a shinobi Assassin and a samurai interpretation of Yasuke. Why tf am I and others like me catching flak? Yes, Ubisoft sucks ass, but does that give you the right to shit on people who just wanna enjoy the game? I don’t think so
hope u enjoy and bring the content for us and enjoy the moment in peace while outside is total war about a black guy , my fear is that will be a bad game because is Quebec team.. not the character choice .. that lore and modern day and the pieces of eden and what it brings us to the next game HEXE
The biggest problem of Shadows is Ubisoft Quebec, it's the same studio who made Odyssey, and TBH Odyssey was everything but Assassin's Creed. It never felt like an AC game, hell it didn't even have a hidden blade. Sure it was a good game but not an AC game. Also not to mention it had the worst parkour of the franchise, with the walking and running being very clunky and not AC like. I have very little hope for Shadows sadly.
Although they also made syndicate which imo was a great representation of what certain aspects of the series should be, such as it’s black box assassinations and stealth system. If they manage to combine odyssey and syndicate and take what works from both and put it into shadows then I really think there’s a chance it could be good
Skull and bone had 11 studios, millions spent & and 10 years of development and was still awful. Let's hope and pray to the God's that ubisoft don't fuck it up 🙏 😂.
9:17 The ‘black box’ missions in Unity and Syndicate cannot hold a candle to the phenomenal mission and level design of the ‘HITMAN’ games. Based on what Ubisoft have done with this form of level design-especially when compared the stealth-action sandbox perfection that is the ‘HITMAN’ series, I have low expectations for how the ‘blackbox’ missions will turn out in ‘AC: Shadows’.
I loved AC 1-Origins and then fucking hated Odyssey and Valhalla because they didn't focus on the assassin's almost at all or not enough. I just hope in this game they focus more on the Assassin and Templar storylines instead of dumb shit like vikings or greek mythology. Don't get me wrong,I love both of those things but they should have 0 connection to AC in my opinion.
Valhalla had something at least to make it juicy in lore even tho it failed with is lenght of the game and back dlcs and mtx Odyssey was bad and will still be bad to this day.
7:24 Assassin’s Creed has never been a ‘stealth game’. Having the ability to go prone does make an otherwise non-stealth game a ‘stealth game’. Based on how little we have heard about it, it looks like it is going to be more like a gimmick than an actually useful feature.
People hating on a game because their expectations were hurt is kinda crazy😂😂 the solution: dont buy the game. At the end of the day it's just a game, chill out, there are other causes which could benefit from this activism 🫠
No you are not, I hate to see people hate too, especially, since we haven't even gotten gameplay yet. The haters will always be louder, than the ones that are excited, don't let them ruin your anticipation. Did you enjoy the previous games? I know I did, and you know what? Valhalla was awesome. People need to realise, not everyone is the same, for some Valhalla was too big, for me, it gave me a more realistic feeling. You can't take whole England in 30 hours of gameplay, and people will always have more sidequests than you can do. I think if they mix that, with original ac stealth, this can be a great game.

But I feel people are forgetting few things, IT is history fiction and not accurate history u know, so basically its trying to portray that no one really knew how strong Yasuke was. @@TheHiddenOne690maybe because you can' t see that forced diversity is not something that people want. And the reason why people are mad about this is not yasuke being black, it's because ubi use the only black guy in the history of Japan for the sake of politcal correctness.

This has been eye opening for me ngl. For years I've just mostly kind of ignored the angry white male gamer stereotype because I thought it was just that. A largely overblown stereotype. A small group on the Internet at best. I know plenty of chill white dudes irl so I thought it was the minority. But the sheer pure out in the open racism and rage yasuke has spawned overnight in such large numbers has me looking at things way differently. Now I think the chill ones were the minority all along cuz this is nuts! This is some of the most cringe behavior I've seen in my entire life from literal adult men. I had no idea the average white guy hates black people THIS MUCH to be this triggered. When the normal race swap excuses didn't work because he wasn't one, they switched to demanding historical accuracy for the first time ever, when that didn't work they claimed it was disrespectful to Japan, when that didn't work because plenty of Japanese people who know of Yasuke are hyped and he's been featured in their media for centuries at this point, they claimed he wasn't a samurai but only a retainer, when Japanese people, including historians and literal samurai descendants dating back to oda's time, including one who served oda refuted that and tried to clarify, they started arguing with them. They're arguing with Japanese people on the accuracy of Japanese culture and history in order to demand that a black man either be shown as nothing more than a slave in a fictional video game or not shown at all. It's wild.
@@NRG-RECI know right! This criticism of Yasuke is stupid. They don't get that Assassin's Creed has always been historical *fiction*. @dasarchiv3508 There should be a couple of moderately sized cities and large enemy fortresses, so hopefully those will suffice.
I wanted a Japan assassin creed for a long time,as I wanna be a ninja,so if you have a ninja,I’m in.😂
People would find anything to hate. i think this one's gonna be a great ac game unlike some last projects
Can’t wait for this game. Looks so good and doesn’t deserve all the hate already 🔥
Man I wanted the eagle again I love scouting with the eagle damn
Still holding out for gameplay but what has been said in this video I am now very interested in this installment . It sounds like they have taken the feedback from previous games and made substanial changes to give the fans what they want.
Im sorry for Yasuke but in AC I don't like to fight. I like to take my time and to shadowly free outposts and places. Or I'll try to use him for that as well!
5:55 That means Ghosting now got a lot better
will the parkour change ?
Yes massively
@@theshadowsamurai07 great ! Will it have the same movements as mirage ?, Cause it was kinda slow
@@antonfoch1842 I don't think it will obviously Yasuke will be slow coz that makes sense I believe it will be more freeflow and quick with Naoe
@@theshadowsamurai07 yeah I see, just hope they change the movement. It was really good in unity but since origins it’s really slow and not satisfying
About number 30: people will always find something to complain about and yes some of the editions are overpriced but most important thing, Assassin's Creed fans....WE'RE GETTING AC IN JAPAN, FINALLY!!!! 😁😁
For people who are confused, think of the new sync points as the same ones from State of Decay 2 (at least that’s what it sounds like)
I haven't been this excited for an assassins creed game since Black Flag. I cant wait for this! Now the price BS is an entirely different and infuriating story.
Despite The negative rep from let's just say certain individuals online, It's only that certain individuals because according to known leaker of this very game, pre-orders are skyrocketing and we don't even have gameplay yet
I know lot of people said they pre order already in pre order once I see how yasuke play if I like I’m buying
It’s gonna look dope in game 😅
So excited for Assassins creed shadows, can’t wait for November!!
the Yasuke hate is so irrational, people are basically hating on the fact that they essentially just gave him a promotion
I mean I think it’s because he’s there for woke points, not anything else. The fact they announced he’s gay a day ago proves that.
Oh no, a black man was never a samurai. ubisoft is historically incorrect 🤬😡
Also ubisoft: female spartan, female viking chief, Leonardo DaVinci making Weapons for Assassins, Connor in attendance for the declaration of independence, Jack the ripper being an Assassin, Julis Caesar killed by an Assassin, Blackbeard Crewmates with an Assassin, oh yh and in Noah 2 they made a diplomat a samurai, no outcry but yh this is where we draw the line, yh alright it's 2024 man first everyone is a Social Activists now a Japanese Historian 👍🏻 bruh if you like it you like it you don't you don't LMAO 😂
they are still fear to make main lead female characters that's the sad part..
@decryus5591 not fear, but you gotta make the mechanics make sense a female spartan, ehhh, but a female Shinobi, now we talking 👌🏻
So the duel characters will be like syndicate?
Yeah pretty much but I don't think Yasuke joins the creed. He just a samurai
I really want this to be good, but I’m worried it’s just gonna be the same as the last 3 games, I hope to be proved wrong
I loved origins and mirage. Imo odyssey was dog shit. Valhalla was a fun viking game. But that's as far as valhalla goes lol.
Just a heads up for future videos, going by the official breakdown, Naoe's name is pronounced more like "now-eh", not "nay-oh-ee"
I’m so hyped
Yasuke looks so awesome. With both a woman and a person of color to play I don't feel I can't relate to the characters somehow based on their background. So excited
I want unity style back 😭
Anyone who says ac shadows is bad should just shut up play it or don’t no one on earth cares about your opinion jeez cry about it😂
Most of the people who've seen the trailer agreed with each other that it's bad so who's no one? Are you a nobody?
cope and seeth, millions of Japanese see it as straight disrespect, but sure, ignore it and enjoy your corporate fed black on asian hate crime simulator
Well the like to dislike ratio on the trailer, the fall in Ubisofts shares and the fact the majority of people hate this show you what the general view of this game is.
They are same people who cried about ac mirage 😂
@@lucasbelmonte2832only racist bozos like you who’s just gonna cry on the internet
I just want to see gameplay im not expecting less then Mirage, but if it, is a hard pass for me
All this game needs is more side missions that have actual depth not those crappy little side stuff we got with Valhalla and I don’t mind the game being as long as Valhalla but it needs more and good side content for that to work.
I can’t wait 😅
I really don’t understand how people already hate this game since it hasn’t even released yet 😅
I like how everyone is crying about a black Samurai that actually existed but they are completely fine with Leonardo da Vinci forging hidden blades
Apples and oranges
Naoe is the canon in this game
They both canon cause they both join the creed
maan ill miss the eagle. it was nice looing at the cities from the sky.they couldve leave it
the return of traditional eagle vision makes me really happy. never liked the birds in the AC games. i Loved it in far cry Primal however. but i think it should have stayed there.
Great video, thanks bro.❤
And you are right, have fun people, this is just a game.
If AC shadows gonna offer a store like valhalla, and well-written characters also like eivor, it will be great.❤
Sooooo we know ubisoft please make a video on possible Japanese folk story creatures that can be in the game
Why is everyone focusing on the black samurai and not mission design and dated combat? Yall tripping.
If ubisoft can pull this off, this could potentially have the caliber for a GOTY nomination!
That's the exact problem. Ubi games have always potential but they're screwing
Couldn't care less about yasuke he is cool. The price though is not cool Ubisoft xD
Sure, but Yasake seems like a beast and i cant wait to play as him.
if this is good. then i might have to cry a bit.
Oh I just wanna enjoy a game with a shinobi Assassin and a samurai interpretation of Yasuke. Why tf am I and others like me catching flak?
Yes, Ubisoft sucks ass, but does that give you the right to shit on people who just wanna enjoy the game? I don’t think so
Nice vid, but Naoe is pronounced Nahweh
Now-where did I put the remote?
Now-a*
Black on asian hate crime simulator looks lit
Lol i dont have ps5 its good that i dont expect anything amazing from ac games
Hopefully it isn't as dull as the last few games. Nothing worse then a massive map filled with useless and boring crap
hope u enjoy and bring the content for us and enjoy the moment in peace
while outside is total war about a black guy , my fear is that will be a bad game because is Quebec team.. not the character choice .. that lore and modern day and the pieces of eden and what it brings us to the next game HEXE
idk how i feel about hearing that the world is around the size of origin
Why that's perfect size in my opinion
If they manage to combine odyssey and syndicate and take what works from both and put it into shadows then I really think there’s a chance it could be good
Well, they also made Rogue and Syndicate. Also worked with Ubi Montreal on Unity and Black Flag.
@riddhenduguhabiswas4774 cry about it😂
This is so silly. Montreal made Black Flag and Origins, two fantastic games, and then the very divisive Valhalla.
@riddhenduguhabiswas4774 nobody cares😂
The season’s dynamic reminds me of Hogwarts Legacy.
Just bring back interesting characters with a higher purpose in brotherhood context. I'm tired.
Why will weapons have there own skill trees 😭
PS5 is current gen at this point not next gen.
Thank you for not being a grifter and pandering to bigots to get clicks and $$$.
Aint getting this one .
The question is are they actual assassins this time 🤨
Skull and bone had 11 studios, millions spent & and 10 years of development and was still awful. Let's hope and pray to the God's that ubisoft don't fuck it up 🙏 😂.
Gameplay at the forefront for me, combat in odyssey was worst than origins, and in valhalla worst than odyssey
Valhalla had something at least to make it juicy in lore even tho it failed with is lenght of the game and back dlcs and mtx
Odyssey was bad and will still be bad to this day.
@@ShalThuzar bro Valhalla legit had almost nothing to with the main AC storyline
7:24 Assassin’s Creed has never been a ‘stealth game’. Having the ability to go prone does make an otherwise non-stealth game a ‘stealth game’. Based on how little we have heard about it, it looks like it is going to be more like a gimmick than an actually useful feature.
Assassin's Creed has never been a what?
It was a stealth game lol since the beginning 🤣
Cod has never been an fps and mario has never jumped on a single platform and has never taken magic mashroom.
Same logic
People hating on a game because their expectations were hurt is kinda crazy😂😂 the solution: dont buy the game.
At the end of the day it's just a game, chill out, there are other causes which could benefit from this activism 🫠
omggg... finally a comment section about assassin's creed thats not insulting AC shadows, i thought it was only me that is excited for this game😭😭
@@gergobardos1831

@@fahrenheit5064 Exactly. I also always try to play them as stealthily as possible, so while slashing through maybe faszer and easier I still always try to play it as an ac game.
@@gergobardos1831 people are hating on it mostly because its a black guy in japan, but I found out that there WERE infact black people in 16th century japan, not just Yasuke. And it seems people are angry because Yasuke wasn't even a real samurai IRL. But I feel people are forgetting few things, IT is history fiction and not accurate history u know, so basically its trying to portray that no one really knew how strong Yasuke was. Thats why its called history fiction. I mean if people want historical accuracy, remember that Bayek was 1000 years too late to be a medjay cuz the medjeys werent even there in last BC century. And if people are complaining about the fact that a foreign MC was chosen over a japenese person. But didn't we have an Italian MC in Turkey? An Irish in Atlantic? and a welsh in west indies?

Heck, we even have a French guy, and not just some guy, a famous French actor co-star in a fantasy Japanese setting/made game so i don't see what's even the problem this time with a Black char co-star with a Japanese.
@@TheHiddenOne690maybe because you can' t see that forced diversity is not something that people want. And the reason why people are mad about this is not yasuke being black, it's because ubi use the only black guy in the history of Japan for the sake of politcal correctness.

Imagine we can play multiplayer with one of our friends one plays yasuke and one naoe
Yeah this would be the perfect game for co op to return to the series
I wish. It's been a decade since AC had multiplayer, it's about time it returns.
Honestly I’d prefer it to remain single player and have a dedicated multiplayer game release for those that want it.
I would say make the multiplayer mode its own thing like in Ghost of Tsushima
Because of Unity and it's infamous history of being the most bugged AC launched Ubi is scared to bring back complex parkour and co-op blaming that for why Unity was that way instead of delaying it's release date to fix glitches
People need to get a grip with yasuke he’s a historical figure who existed that’s the only thing that matters Ubisoft always change history around figures in their game the yet u only get mad when it’s yasuke grow up
There's always new excuses to hate on black video game characters. They love pulling reasons out of their ass to be angry.
It's wild.
@@NRG-RECFr? Can you give me names of Japanese characters that are hype for the game I thought they was being racist to
@@NRG-RECI know right! This criticism of Yasuke is stupid. They don't get that Assassin's Creed has always been historical *fiction*. I think they're just assuming that Ubisoft is a hyper woke company that's gonna push their woke agenda down their throats with Yasuke and they can't bear that. There's literally nothing wrong with playing as Yasuke. It's really cool in fact. Or they could play as Naoe. But maybe they dislike women too.
