Bee’s knees sounds like “business”. So it just means “you’re the business”, which means really good. Can also be applied to other things being good, not just to people.
Also, I read JK Rowling book recently, I found some words that have been used like "Knock off feet" and "Let off stream". I do hope you can help me with some example about these words. Or maybe more. Thanks.

@@benyoung5184 good question asked maybe. Since I don't have enough historical and academic knowledge to explain you why, I recommend you to search Cantonese in Wiki. But in my observation, Cantonese has more elements that can be found in foreign languages in Asia such as Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and other Chinese languages. This could be middle Chinese language has distributed a lot of words and pronunciations to others. And most important thing is, there are 平、上、去、入 (ping4, soeng5, heoi3 jap6) tones in Cantonese that you can also find its trail in mid-Chinese. Ping-soeng-heoi-jap is a complete tone system in middle Chinese language, but Mandarin doesn't have.
@@benyoung5184 I'm not a scientist, historian or a linguist. I can't define if these are evidences to prove that Cantonese is an original Chinese language. However, I believe these signs and trails can somehow provide evidences for Cantonese to be a traditional Chinese. That's all I know. Sorry for the lack of knowledge. 😹

I don't know if it's the original form of the Chinese language but in Hong Kong we use traditional Chinese characters instead of simplified Chinese characters for our written language (in the same way as people in Taiwan though they speak Mandarin instead of Cantonese). Ancient Chinese poems were written in traditional Chinese characters

Hello Fulinfang, 我有一个很好奇的问题，可以视频讲解一下嘛？如何锻炼自己的语调(intonation)，就是在听英文视频的时候？这个问题困扰我很久了，我听你平常的视频还是听得懂，你的词汇不会难懂，语速也比较适中。但是我听其他一些视频（比如新闻），经常的听不懂，我总结了两个原因：1. 好多词汇听不懂，包括我不认识的，也包括一些文化上特定的词汇（地名、人名、专有名词等等）；2. 语速快而且长，对词汇反应慢，找不到语言的重点，无法将句子分割，以便我理解作者的意思，经常出现，作者说完一段，我不知道重点。请问，可以帮忙分析一下嘛？非常感谢。
