Surely a Dana out of a Jeep TJ Rubicon would work would it not? Those Jeep’s are pretty skinny and you can get electric diff lock in them, just weld on the new brackets and there you go

Unibody , no frame , chassis needs support after 600 crank , because it will tear the rear out or twist motor off brackets

Junk yard builds can be done cheap. It all depends if you are fine with buying used an possibly rebuilding a engine. You could buy a crate engine for 4k an then the rest of it. You can get a truck motor for 400$
