i got one of the cheaper lg ultragear models the "32gn63t" and all my ghosting went away when i turned up all of the brightness, contrast, and black level. i am blind now.
i also found out that the reader setting works pretty gooder also because it makes all of the pixels have a haze to them but it looks kinda doodoo.
LG Monitors usually comes with a save power option activated by default. If you disable that may help... one of my LG Monitors had flickering and disabling that helped

is there anyway you fixed your ghosting in G24F?
@@Raafiu4 there's no way to completely fix ghosting, but I made it slightly better by setting the Overdrive mode to Smart OD. That seems to be the best out of all the modes.

Use Display Port. HDMI doesn't support high refresh rates from my experience
@@Mat383 for some reason one they provide comes with 180 but the display shows 165 (overclocking require me to use the nvidia setting)
I've never noticed this in game. All are always crying about the va smearing but even on my cheap laptop panel it doesn't bother me at all, don't understand the complains and I will probably buy another va soon, it will only be noticable if you want to see it
VA Panels can be very good
it can be a problem for a gamer, but if you dont mind it then youre in luck as va are generally cheaper
I use my computer for research and gaming, as well as casual browsing, I only notice it when I'm doing looking at a PDF, moving tabs, or scrolling, never in gaming. Still its annoying when its noticeable while doing general computer stuff
Very useful thx but my problem i have only noise reduction option and it helps a lil bit but still kinda blurry is there any external hardware i can use to help with it like using a displayport or edid emulator ?
I have a Samsung M5 Smart TV and I noticed this problem in games, very frustrating, not depending on cables. Very noticeable looking at the second row, the circles has a trail behind... how to solve?
that's the VA panel's problem not your's. There is a minimal ghosthing at IPS or OLED monitors. If you can, buy a panel that has IPS or OLED

i'm not sure what exactly is ghostig. this monitor works at 165hz and when i turn the overdrive on or off, what is the difference? it looks good both ways i guess
If the moving objects don’t leave any trail behind, everything is fine and the monitor is perfectly working

Have you set it on 144hz? This monitor shouldn't have much ghosting

On PS5 try to set your monitor at 60hz and try with overdrive medium or strong, it should solve the problem
