Its kinda weird to see Sanji with swords, but the shape was very much like kitchen knives and it immediately make sense. That's very creative
Well he was certainly trained in swordsmanship, as shown against Wanze, even if it was kitchen knives
Kitchen knives or not, Sanji has sworn never to use his hands to fight, his shikai should have been boots. No excuses.

@@makkura9245 Are there any wearable Shikai? Usually only bankai's interact with the users body like Ichigo's fake Bankai clothes. Of the top of my head I can't remember any Shikai that does it. Unless you want to be very broad and take Soi Fon's needle thing as a glove. But then again Sanji's Shikai could've been something that doesn't require him to use his hands even if it couldn't be a boot. Or he could just Yoruichi'd it and fight just using shunko lol

If the Straw Hats are the Captains of the Thirteen Divisions, would the 0 Division be something like Whitebeard, Shanks, Mihawk, Hancock, and Dragon?
Whitebeard's shikai would pretty obviously be his bisento with his earthquake powers.
I'd like to think Mihawk's shikai would turn his spiritual pressure into sharp "sword" energy that essentially allows him to cut anything.
Hancock would obviously have a petrification power, and I feel like her bankai would maybe cause pheromones to spread with her spiritual pressure that turns anyone aroused to stone.
Dragon's a bit of a mystery, but he probably has storm powers. I could see his bankai producing a massive hurricane-esque storm, but maybe that overlaps with Nami too much.
Shanks should have his shikai releasing the full strength of his spiritual pressure while changing his sword to Gryphon, but like Aizen levels of spiritual pressure. And his bankai being a simple 10× amplification of his spiritual pressure would be scary powerful for something so simple.
Sanji’s knives look wicked and cool. I still think they will never be used in combat as his principle as a chef is what made his cooks so strong.
And I think his weapon would be his legs to feet, like bladed shoes or the whole legs.

I have to admit, Sanji's shikai is very creative :) It's a really cool concept and looks very awesome too!
Usopp's being more on the 'nuisance' and technical side than a really hard hitting 'shot' type really fits his personality.
Zoro looks SO cool XD And his abilities really take a lot of skill. Not just three blades but three different styles too!
Jinbe also looks amazing :) And that's a perfect shikai for him.
Franky... the fact that you mention he did it just because it brilliant XD And of course he's got some heavy fire power lol

The twelve golden knights of Knights of the Zodiac as Bleach captains, you can put Shion, who was the master of the Sanctuary, as the commander or use the Gemini Kanon and thus close the 13

Sanji probably doesn’t use his swords cause their like cooking knives, but maybe they’re different enough so that it’s fine.
I can just imagine the scene where the opponent dodged Carrots attack but gets hit anyway.
I just love that you’re giving g the pictures these scenes of them taking people out, adds so much life to them.

To my shame, I've never read/watched One Piece, so I know very little about it beyond recognising certain characters. However, the drawings created in this project are absolutely fantastic, cleverly adapting the One Piece cast over to the Bleach universe. Great work!

I actually think that thing behind Zoro is a dude getting cut in half. I though the same thing you did till I looked down and saw it had hooves, along with a line going down the middle, so I think it’s a reference to that guy Kenpachi killed, the boar guy.

Usopp's Shikai works good as a staff alone where the slingshot end can pin down an enemy, but I can see Usopp using it as a last resort since the slingshot form resembles a Quincy using a bow lol

What I think of each one.
Usopp - Makes sense.
Sanji - I like the design of the knives.
Carrot - That makes sense for her fighting style.
Zoro - I feel like there should be more epicness.
Franky - Weapons that he could easily do in the anime.
Jinbe - I like the design and power.
Luffy - Makes a lot of sense.
My favorite one is Sanji’s shikai.

You should draw the other Supernova and the Warlords as fallen (Hollowfied) former captains after you finish this project. You could also throw in some of the more popular villains such as Arlong and Foxy.

all the designs and powers were very good and creative, I liked them all but I think my favorites are Ussop, Carrot, Zoro, Franky, Jibe and Luffy, the description makes Shikai seem very powerful and difficult to deal with, especially for their users who are very skilled and experienced

Me, reacting to the initial Straw Hats as Captains video: "Man, I can't wait to see what Zoro's shikai is gonna look like!"
D_, probably: "You idiot. You absolute Fool! You freaking Buffoon! You've already SEEN his Shikai! Ahahahahahaha!"
Jokes aside, Jinbe's zanpakuto is definitely my favorite of this lot, the water control he has is probably the most versatile ability in this Gotei 13. Carrot's gauntlets and Usopp's staff have very slick designs as well, love 'em.
Logical weakness time:
Usopp: if his yellow tracking pellets cannot hit the target, then the red vine pellets are less effective unless they hit.
Sanji: his Shikai for the most part is just as effective as the medium in which he's standing on, so if he doesn't have the aid of friction to stabilize him, he cannot unleash his flat surface.
Carrot: any insulation can null her electric attacks, though she can still slash them if she manages to touch the source of the insulation.
Zoro: probably among the more trickier once, but possibly overwhelming him with numbers and skilled combatants. And as each sword functions in a specific way, he can be potentially tripped up by using the wrong "counter" against a specific scenario if too many enemies keep the pressure on him.
Franky: if there's low air in his vicinity his escape is limited, and assuming his Reiryoku is mainly reliant of other shinigami, then he's mostly helpless by himself.
Jinbe: his shikai will only work if there's any water in his vicinity. If there isn't, it's useless.
Luffy: The nature of his Shikai means his powers go beyond the understandable spectrum of physics. Only other powers beyond physics can pose a serious threat to him (time, space, mind, soul, antimatter, etc.)
It would be cool to see the yonko and Roger as squad 0 and Rocks as the soul king

Suprisingly, i love all of them.
Sanji is less direct to his canon ability, which i like.
Of course Zorro would be the groups Kenpachi more than just being the 11th division captain.
And of course Luffy would be broken. I just wish there's more to the drawing. With how the ability desceibed, a giand ball made of rubble is a teensy bit underwhelming

My man, another masterpiece. My I say that Carrot's Zanpakto is stunning and Luffy's sounds like the ultimate snake sword. Franky's looks squared for battle, but the one thing you did with Sanji proves the point everyone was thinking. For Sanji, it makes because he's a cook, but this just proves that Ichigo was swinging around an oversized steak knife. 😂😂😂 Truthfully it was until the end of the fullbring arc when it actually looked like a sword.

Salut D_NOT_So_Good_Artist, Incroyable encore une fois, très style c'est shikai, j'ai hâte pour les Bankai qui vont dépasser nos attentes, et surtout très style le bonclay que ta dessiner mais je me demandais est-ce que tu feras un jour les shichibukai en capitaine sa serait une dinguerie, surtout leur shikai et Bankai, qui serait surprenant après vus que ta déjà fait Jinbe en capitaine, et que Teach qui est un ancien Shichibukai certes, mais qui est devenu empreur avant la dissolution des Shichibukai, sa passerais mieux si tu fesait Teach quand tu feras les empreur en capitaine de bleach, mais après il manquerai quant même 5 personnage pour faire les capitaine shichibukai, alors voisi les personnages que je conseille de mettre apres c'est pas une obligation tu faisse que tu veux, alors les voisi: Ace qui a refusé d être un shichibukai, Bonclay il le mérite se titre de capitaine vus tous ce qu' il a fait , Peronna sa mais un plus de fémininté et surtout elle a un pouvoir cheater, Iwankof vus son lien avec kuma et crocodile, et pour le dernier pourquoi pas Ener je sais qu'il n à aucun lien avec les shichibukai mais sa serait cool de le mettre.
Mais à part sa continue comme ça.

Have you ever considered doing match ups between your drawings. Think it would be a cool concept to try out like doing a match up series with the konoha 12 as gotei 13 fighting their counterparts on the straw hat gotei 13! Like robin vs sai or zoro vs sasuke and obviously luffy vs naruto as bleach captains

It's funny how all of these artists when reimagining Usopp as shinigami with shikai or bankai, they always portray him to have a "Quincy" type zanpakto when they can consider his zanpakto to be something like Kite's. Ohhh ... yeah I forgot, it would make too OP. But still, they can include drawbacks and conditions right?

All Are really nice but Luffy the full Nika power in Shikai mode looks reaaly strong, That already look like a benkai to me.
Maybe if he can just stretch the zenpakuto and his body that will look like a weak Shikai but all people know that if he release the Benkai with full Nika power, nobody can contest him.
But now i'm excited to see what will be the benkai you will create to be more powerfull than this shikai
