Here we have my collection as of October 2022!
Huge selection of Shojo and some Josei, BL/Yaoi, Shonen and Seinen.
I didn’t plan on talking about each series so much so I apologise in advance! Once I’m surrounded by the manga I get carried away!

AHHH AN ABSOLUTE DREAM COLLECTION- love the Kimi ni Todoke- I've been waiting for the reprint😭Living Room Matsunaga-San is a favorite of mine- so I definitely recommending picking that up sometime soon!🤗
Aw thank you so much for watching! I can tell you that this collection has grown a bit since I filmed this 🙈I hope you find those Kimi Ni Todoke soon! It’s such a lovely series and I’m planning to reread it early next year. I have also recently picked up volume 2 of Livingroom Matsunaga-san so hoping to pick up more really soon!

I have quite an extensive manga collection but not as varied as yours because mine is mainly Shounen manga. Basically all of One Piece to date, Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, Magi, Rave Master, Promised Neverland, Black Clover, Attack on Titan and a number of other series. I love seeing other people's collections, although I also have a stupid amount of books on my other love astrophysics. I'm currently contemplating whether to get more manga or books on black holes
I like to switch between Shojo and Shonen depending on how I feel. You have some great series there and a few I haven’t tried out so I will definitely look into them ☺️
@@dragonballzowie I should try and diversify my collection a bit as I do watch other types of anime but not so much the manga. There's some great illustrators across the manga world outside the Shonen bubble. Once I've read Brian Cox's new book I think I'll have to have a good look at some other manga, although new One Piece volumes will always come first 😉
Love Hina is actually a shounen and chobits is a seinen. But either way great video I loved seeing your collection and hearing all the memories.
One of my favorite manga series is called berserk. The author Kentaro Miura was heavily inspired by Shojo manga. And it shows.
It’s a series I want to try some day but I’m a nervous to start 😅

I’ve been really curious about what all you have because you can only see so many in your Instagram posts 😂 I’m kinda excited for you to unhaul the series you don’t care about anymore so you can have more space! I vote for unhauling the maid sama singles since you have the omnibuses and anything you think is just ok or will never read again (unless they have strong nostalgic value to you, feel free to ignore me 🙈) I haven’t read Love Me Love Me Not, but I’m excited to hear your thoughts on Ao Haru Ride (it was the first manga I read 🙃) REALLY curious what you’ll think about Yona of the Dawn.. Think you’ll just get them gradually or are you worried about if they’ll be in stock? I read most of it online so once I knew I liked it I dove in and ordered them all 🙈 They’re doing a bunch of reprints, but even as I get my back orders fulfilled, they’re still showing as out of stock on a lot of sites, so I can understand your concern 🥺 Looking forward to your next video!

I will definitely make an unhaul video just for you 😂 I think I just need to bite the bullet and be really honest with myself about why I am holding onto some of these series. A lot of rereads are going to be done before the unhaul so give me time 😂
I really REALLY want to start reading Yona but the volumes are just not out there in the UK so if I do start it I think I’ll have to read it online and then just pick up random volumes as and when I can 🤞🏻
@@dragonballzowie That’s not a bad idea, just in case it’s not for you, then you could avoid the trouble 🙈 (though I hope you’ll love it!!) Maybe keep an eye out for second hand too, if people are picking up the reprints and then not wanting to keep them 🤔🤔
What a wonderful collection! So many I want to get for my collection! Only get rid of anything that doesn't make you happy to read. Space is always an issue isn't it? I need to get new shelves! My dream too is to have a manga library room and my husband encourages it 😂 I personally didn't enjoy Love Me, Love Me Not as much as I hoped (thankfully I borrowed from the library) and haven't read Ao Haru Ride (did watch the anime though) so I would suggest reading Love Me Not first. Really enjoy watching your videos!

I like the idea of only getting rid of series that don’t make me happy. That’s definitely the best part about reading manga and I don’t want anything that doesn’t make me feel good when reading it!

One short series (5 volumes) that I really enjoyed is Days on FES. It is about two high school friends that love going to music festivals and her older brother and his employee. It is very wholesome and is a very cozy read.

i've just read Kowloon Generic Romance volumes 1 and 2 and they are amazing, im so incredibly hooked already i can't wait for the rest to come out. Same with The Apothecary Diaries. Read the first two volumes and was so hooked i went and bought all the rest that were out immediately.
I love both these series so much! I can’t wait for more Apothecary Diaries especially. The wait is so long for volume 8 release 🥲
Fruits basket another vol 4 gets it's English release in December
your dragon ball collection is beautiful. im a decade fan, so i love seeing people have this manga, its a bit of history, and its underrated. favorite series is Z, nothing anybody can say can change that
Dragon ball holds the most special place in my heart ❤️ I do love Z also but DB has all the nostalgia!

The two booklets that came with are just samples of other manga series that were maybe just releasing at the time or that would appeal to a fruits basket fan. I’ve just always kept them with my collection but they aren’t really worth having. The Banquet book is really cute though. There are different chapters with fan art, quizzes, notes and interviews with the author and a more in depth look into the characters, their relationships and the best chapters from the series. There are also some colour pages. It’s a nice to have but it’s not really necessary to look for unless you are a real fan and want to have as much as you can find 😂 I hope this was helpful!
As to your question about Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun vol 0, it was just the test run pilot given to publisher's before they decided to print this sorta story as a series, so it isn't in any way canonical to TBHK as a series. I'd only suggest picking it up if one was a die hard #1 fan of TBHK. Me personally, I love TBHK, but Im not bothering to include vol 0 in my collection cause to be honest, it feels just kinda like a cash-grab to me 🤷

Lol, I am actually looking for those Loveless single volumes because I do love the series but hate omnibuses. It's a very compliacted story and it can easily get misunderstood but anyway...I would take them off your hands but idk how the mechanics of that would be.

Is full moon being reprinted into omnibuses? I haven't heard that, I'm struggling to replace a couple of badly second hand volumes and I messaged Viz and they didn't say anything about it.

@@dragonballzowie If you like Kaori Yuki then it's a good read, quite dark like Godchild and Cain Saga. I really enjoyed it at the time, I'm in the process of waiting for my last two volumes to ship
