so crazy seeing one of these in original condition! i was gifted an old iPad 3 64GB in white on iOS 9 that was previously used as a Telus Store Demo iPad for mobile, internet, and cable pricing and info! i still use it for old iOS games, Facetime & iMessage, (i use a Samsung phone lol) and that sweet sweet low-quality camera.

It is such a shame that big companies like Apple stop supporting older (and fully capable) hardware - we used to do the same things with our devices we are doing now, yet older devices are suddenly "obsolete", but actually it's just web technologies which they can't run :/

A lot of stolen products are repackaged but even if not, the ESN/IMEI/Serial Number can be remotely disabled by Apple. All their "Demo" products on display in store are like this. Apple also doesn't sell any large items, electronics up front where customers can grab and run.
