Definitely one of my favourite looking majestys. I much prefer the full maple top look to the shield thing as well. He plays it a lot as well, like in the Terminal Velocity video

I'd rather have an oil / wax finish on the back of the neck, but otherwise this guitar looks just perfect.

Beautiful guitar man, congrats. I bought an EBMM Jason Richardson 7 in Majora Purple last year, but have yet to add a Majesty to my collection. It’s only a matter of time!

@@ZackSeifMusic I have a JP6 BFR and the neck profile is similar, but the satin neck on the Jason is smooooth.
Bought the EBMM JR7 purple nebula about 7 months ago and just last week got a majesty 6 GDM. The best guitars i have played in my life and although I have to admit the majesty sounds a little bit warmer and better. If you have the opportunity to get a majesty, go for it, you won't regret it.

I’m an Ibanez prestige player for the longest time. How does the MM compare? Any differences? Advantages? Thanks!
Musicman is literally a whole step above in my opinion. More craftsmanship, more electronic components, different neck and body feel, all hardware is different, and there are options that you cannot get on an Ibanez.
Do you find the neck on the Majesty and the JP15 to feel the same (thickness and width)? Which guitar do you prefer?
They are VERY close, the JP15 feels just a smidge thinner but I prefer the Majesty. Setup matters a lot as well. They are nearly the same.
I wish the body was bigger. The little guitar feels weird. I do love it's sound though.
It's interesting because Petrucci is such a big dude yet the guitar is physically smaller than a Strat!!
In terms of sheer collectibility/desirability, would you say this is equal to, higher than or lesser than the Crystal Amethyst models?
The Nebula will retain the highest value of all current Majesty models due to their desirability and the fact that it's been John's main since it came out.
These are selling higher than any other variant right now and have been.
@@ZackSeifMusic interesting; I’m not sure what they were at retail, but as far as I can see on Reverb, the Nebula goes for $10k (in my country’s weak Australian dollar, lol) and the Crystal Amethyst goes for up to $13k
Having said that, those are just list prices and not necessarily sale prices
If you ever get tired of this one let me know I’ll buy it hehe

Hey Kevin! Thanks for watching the video. In this video I'm running through both the fractal and the Mesa. However I do have my Mesa JP-2C presets available for purchase for the Fractal. Feel free to send me an email or hit me up on Facebook or Instagram and I'd be happy to help.
what loadbox did you use coming from JP2C? or did you just use without the power amp, I'm not familiar with 4 cable method.
So what I do is I plug my guitar into the AxeFx, then I send one of the outputs from the AxeFx into the front of the Mesa. This allows me to use some FX in front of the amp like you normally would with a traditional pedalboard.
Then I use the Mesa FX Loop to plug back into the fractal so I can put some FX into the FX Loop, like you normally would put volume boosts, delays and reverbs etc.
Then the LINE/SLAVE OUT of the Mesa goes back into the Fractal for Cab IRs so you can hear the full amp sound running through a cabinet sound.
No loadbox needed. The JP-2C has a built in loadbox, but I also keep it plugged into my Two Notes Captor X and a Speaker Cab at all times.

Hi, I've some question I saw you mention that you always plugged your JP2C into Captor X all the times, Why do you use the signal from slave out instead of the Captor X line out? Does it better? I thought that the signal from slave out didn't got an impedance curve.

I prefer the Cabinet sounds of the Axe Fx vs the Two Notes. I just use it for attenuation.
Why was the case all scratched up before you opened it?
It wasn't brand new. Those guitars were new and sold out in 2020. It's only a case though, meant to keep the guitar safe which it did 😄
