      wallys wheels
      My brake lines were too short to make a foot brake so I just looped them underneath the seat to the other side and made a hand brake instead. Worked out great. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers.

      balabay77 why did you put the engine behind the wheels

    • @balabay77
      @balabay77  7 років тому +8

      Dat Boi
      After watching other people's videos it seemed like a good idea but after building it now I know that it's a design flaw. Engine should be in front of the axle and front tire should be closer to the frame. It's a trial and error project which will help me improve on my next build.

      My kid wanted a drift trike to do 360 but this one didn't turn out as I hoped. It drifts but doesn't do 360. I'm guessing bad design and improper weight distribution? It's ok we can always make another one LOL :)

      Мы эту PVC трубу купили в кампании которая снабжает трубы для орошения травы, прокладки труб по канализации и всякого колхозного дела. Я думаю что если поискать на eBay или других сайтах то думаю что можно найти уже нарезаные рукава разных диаметров. Удачи.

    Looks great. Its awesome to see your kid helping you out. thats what its all about. Id get a larger rear sprocket though to avoid wearing out the clutch and bogging the engine down from start. It should make it a lot more responsive with more torque available to the wheels when you punch the gas. E-brake is awesome too, and ive seen them on the front pedal. Is it a pain to have one hand on the handle bars and one on the e-brake?

    simply the BEST trike build I've seen on UA-cam. Although, the handlebars are kinda throwing me off so I would suggest that you get the beach cruiser wide/long handlebars. Since you're not doing any major tricking, those would definitely help with the aesthetics and the comfort of the ride even on wide turns. Beautiful build. Congratulations!
    Are you guys still using it to this very day?

      thanks,but it's a good engine? 4 stroke or 2 stroke?

    • @balabay77
      @balabay77  7 років тому

      Crazy ATV rider
      Two stroke is way better and produces more horsepower but they are also much more expensive. Predator engines are 100 dollars whereas 2 stroke engines can run well into thousands depending on CC's and condition. Most kids can't afford it and install these cheap turds on their projects.

      You're welcome and thank you. You're doing good job keeping your son busy with these projects :) better than playing video games all day long. how much were your welder? I need to get one too to be able to build more projects.

      Indeed keeping kids busy and motivated these days is hard. My welder was $170 from HarborFreight. It's not the best quality welder but I've learned is that good flux core wire makes all the difference. Lincoln electric sells awesome wire and it produces great results. I'm sure there are other types of flux core wires out there but so far I'm sticking with this brand.

      This was our fist unsuccessful attempt to make a drift trike but I'm hoping that next trike will be much better. It drifts but doesn't do 360 like I hoped it would. Oh well maybe next one will be worth all that effort. Cheers bud.

      i think you made it to long, thats why it wont do 360

    • @balabay77
      @balabay77  7 років тому

      EmilTheEngineer
      You're probably right. My next trike will be shorter without the foot pegs but instead I'll attach the pegs to the front fork just like on BMX bikes. Maybe I'll install engine on the side of the rider rather than behind to make it even more compact. We'll see.

    cut the yellow wire from the oil sensor (to the right of the kill switch) and it will prevent the motor from cutting itself off when you turn sharply sometimes
