Zachyt, you saved my Xperia Z1 Compact. I've just finished changing the battery, and, in front of me, it works like a charm ! !!! CAUTION !!! Not every battery on the internet is sold WITH the NFC part sticker on it ! I removed the one on the old battery to put it on the new battery
Thank you for showing how it is done. You video became a much appreciated support throughout the entire process of replacing the battery in my Xperia Z1 Compact. However, I would have liked to see what the best practice is on how to align the new adhesive to the old back cover and put it back on the phone again. In the end I had to have a quick look at another video showing that part of the process in more detail than yours did. Even so, your video was the one I used most, so you deserve a thank you and a click on the like-button.
Thanks for the guide I did mine easy enough it came off very easily, I left it in my pocket for an hour or so so it was nice and warm and slid the back off using a couple of stiff plastic id cards. Hardest part was lining up the new glue for the back after. Whole job in less than 10 mins
+Adrián Alcón Żurawka hi, could you tell me where you bought your battery? I struggle to find one with the NFC tag.

the nfc tag is included in the back case, not in the battery like some samsungs. I bought the battery from amazon time ago, but maybe you can find it on aliexpress or ebay. regards ;)
So... my task was a bit more complex - battery, jack, miniusb cover... All of which replaced, but I made a mistake in assuming that to get to jack I need to remove front part, and that's when I broke the display. Be careful guys...
+Benoit Pitsaer Oh, thank you. Luckily I never use the NFC, but it would be a pity if I did though. It's weird that the send you a new battery without that attached!!
Some replacement batteries do have the NFC antenna. But if yours doesn't come with it, you can carefully cut off the NFC antenna from the old battery and glue it onto the new battery.

the smartphone can work without NFC mobile?
ReOscuro not sure about it. I removed the NFC part of the original cover, to stick it on the new one, and it works like a charm, or like my cock

My new battery came without that brown part with the components. Does anyone know what it is for?
+Thiione It's the NFC hardware
