  • Some cable and internet providers allow customers to self-install, avoiding the scheduling and the dealing with a technician. I tried it out with Spectrum as I switched. How hard could it be, right? In this video I will guide you through whether or not it is a good fit for you.
Here is a link to the mesh wifi I use at Amazon:

Would you like to save money when you switch internet service providers (ISP)? With some, you can order a self-install diy kit that allows you to make the fairly simple connections and have your internet up and running in a short time. Probably the main reason we all switch is related to price and service. It seems that every ISP increases their rate, and as consumers we are basically left with a best option of switching providers every few years to get a better rate. $40/month adds up to over nearly $1000 over the course of two years.
Installing your own can also save you up front with the installation fee. There may still be a cost, but it will most likely be cheaper to do it yourself.

Have you self-installed, and if so, what did you think? Or, are you weighing it out?
