Hey everyone hope you enjoy the reaction!! Thanks again for being patient on me with this one!! Grave Of The Fireflies will still be out this week along with Rio and another surprise movie!!
If you're going to react to "Grave Of The Fireflies" then I recommend you add the film "Barefoot Gen" to the list because it's another anime movie that takes place during WW2, Although this particular film involves the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.
I second that. The elemental characters are a personification of immigrants living in a different country from their own. And its director knew it from personal experience.
Honestly I don’t see how it’s any different to how animation was back in the day. People have become too sensitive and complain about everything and anything now that they became blinded by it.
@@rock-n-party9241 and it's freaking descusting people are becoming more and more sensitive and men are becoming more and more lady like it's imbearising
Fun fact: Wade and Ember being able to touch without killing each other is actually based in real-life science, just like the rest of the movie. It's called the Leidenfrost effect, which is when water like Wade touches a hot surface like Ember which creates a layer of steam that acts as a barrier between them, preventing either of them from killing the other.
I actually had the privilege to meet the director of Elemental in person at my college last month. He talked about how much this movie meant to him and gave some really cool behind the scenes details about it. Great guy, and great reaction!
I love this movie so much. The animation on the fire, water, and air people is revolutionary, the powers and abilities they have are are very creative, I love how they created an entire original language for the fire people, the music is awesome, and I like the arc Ember goes through.
I swear, Ember and Wade are just perfect for each other in so many ways imaginable. Their love is just so powerful throughout this entire movie, when they hold hands and kiss, my heart literally melted. I was just in complete awe. One of the greatest couples I’ve seen, definitely one of my top favourites. Well done, Pixar! 100/10!!! ❤🔥💧❤ We need a sequel with them having a steam baby possibly, that would be amazing. Just showing how much more powerful Ember’s and Wade’s love for each other has become.
Pixar really does need to do more movies with a love story holding the core; I know they started out and set their standard as a “departure” from Disney’s romantic formula at the time, but between this and Wall-E, they absolutely hit the bleachers with them. 😭💖
I loved this movie's story so much and the characters. It's in my top five pixar movie list. I really really appreciated that they talked about how Temper is important and we need to listen to it once in a while.
One thing i really loke about this, that theres no explicit villain, rather the neglected infrastructure and lack of accommodations surrounding an outlying community
I like movies where there’s no villain and instead it’s a certain environment that are deadly and could possibly kill an entire population like floods or volcanic eruptions
I love this movie. Despite what the critics say, I think this does have a nice story on its own, obviously the look of this movie is spectacular, the dynamics between Ember and Wade is nice to watch, and is one of Pixar's better recent films. It's up there with _Soul_ and _Luca_ in my register. **EDIT** Fun fact: Lake Ripple, Wade's younger sibling, is actually Pixar's first ever non-binary character.
Glad to hear you are feeling better. Your health is more important than making videos. But I am glad you are back at it. Make sure to take care of yourself. ❤ Elemental is probably my favorite Pixar Movie to date. The animation is so beautiful, the story is so emotional, and I love the little nods towards immigration - especially the directors own family in it. The behind the scenes that came out was amazing to give more backstory of this movie and him. I wish it was promoted better. Many people didn’t watch it because they thought it would just be”Zootopia but with elements” and those who said that didn’t watch it - until someone else told them how good it was and they went to see it. I know this movie had a poor opening weekend but the following weekends were better because of word of mouth with it. I haven’t heard hate towards this movie yet personally - but I am sure there is some out there. Personally I am hoping for a second one to come out (where we see Ember and Wade’s relationship grows more in the big city while she’s trying to balance work and life - at least the plot in my head lol). But I doubt there will be a second one with how it didn’t blow away the box office.
I'm so glad you're feeling better! I'm recovering from a serious leg injury myself, and after a hard day at physical therapy, seeing that you posted instantly made me feel better :) Your wonder at animation and your genuine reacts never cease to put me in a better mood❤
What a beautiful reaction Nick ☺️💜💖💜!! I just love your beautiful caring heart 🤗💖💜💖!! And never stop having the wonderful "childlike" wonder that you possess 💜💖!!
This movie was a tribute to Peter Sohn’s story of being a Korean immigrant growing up in New York City and even he made this movie ever since his parents sadly passed away before this movies release
This movie is so adorable. I love Ember and Wade's relationship. I admit I didn't like Embers dad though but this movie was so cute and fun and very well animated. It's just nice.
The first time I watched this I knew wade was fine. Anyone who knows the water cycle knew he was ok. This is a beautiful movie both visually and story wise
Legit. I thought I was the only male dude in existence who ugly cried at the end. But watching these reaction video's makes me feel so warm inside becauee I realize that yes it is ok to cry and sympathize with the characters in a movie. Nice reaction video. Keep burning bright my friend 💪
Thank you Nick for a movie reaction to my favorite animated movie of 2023 😍. I love the story, the end credits song, and the love chemistry between Ember & Wade 🔥💧♥.
I’m glad to hear that ur doing better and there’s no need to apologize for taking time off. Ur health is more important🙏🏻❤️This movie definitely isn’t a favorite of mine but I did enjoy watching it.
HA! The naysayers who dismissed this film when it first came out in theaters? Quite shameful on their part. Elemental proves Pixar still got it. Director Peter Sohn weaved out a story that is both comedic and romantic! While it didn’t do well at the box office on its first weekend, it became a sleeper hit!
This movie certainly wasn't as bad as some people think. Not a huge fan of romance, but I like the way it was handled here. But my favorite part is how Ember struggled to please her parent and lie to herself in order to make him happy. I'm sure that resonated with so many of us 😢
So happy to know your feeling better from your sickness, I enjoyed seeing you react to the Spongebob season 2 finale with It's Totally Cody earlier 👍🏻💕
Clicked so fast when I saw you reacting to this movie. Don’t comment much but just wanna say you’re my favorite movie reactor out here and I really appreciate and enjoy watching them with you. Love from Philippines❤

I’m so glad to finally see somebody react to this movie the way that I did the first time I saw it. I was gushing! I loved Wade and Embers story so much. And the soundtrack is everything!
Ssooo... how long before people in the comments start saying Nick is IRL Wade? 😅 Jokes aside, I thought this movie is really cute and offers a nice, if not a little flawed, metaphor for race and immigration. Wade is easily one of the all-time best fictional boyfriends; always so open, empathetic, and supportive!! I already knew you would love this movie, Nick!! I'm sorry you were struggling with your health and depression so much these past few months, but I'm glad you're dling better and that you see nothing but improvements!!💖❤️🩹

Everyone has their own opinions on everything I think it was a wonderful story about a few topics people don't like to discuss immigration and Interracial couples which I don't see the problem with but hey everyone is their own
I didn’t understand why people hated this movie so Much, going into it I expected the worst but it really made me emotional and connect with the characters, I loved it

There was a lot of opinions about this movie but in my opinion, I really enjoyed this movie. The animation is pretty, the story might be simple but still interesting, the main characters are relatable and loveable (WADE MY FAVORITE 💙). I give it a 8/10
Not one of Disney's best in my opinion, and as you said I feel like they've been on quite a rocky path recently. But I always love seeing your reactions, and happy to see you back, Nick! ❤
Before I watch the reaction, I just wanted to tell you that you're a sweetheart and your health is more important than anything. It's ok if/when things take time to post, we just want you feeling healthy.
Hi Nick. Can you do a reaction video for one of these three movies? - The Sandlot - The Breakfast Club - Zootopia (that's my favorite animated movie, and if you liked Elemental and it's story about discrimination amongst the elements, I think that Zootopia will be a real treat for you).

I enjoyed this movie but it certainly felt a bit lacking compared to say zootopia which had a very similar feel to the setting. The setting is lovely looking and really interesting but we get very little exploration of it, heck we dont really meet any characters other than the main 2 and the family so we dont really even learn what each element is actually like :( The story is nice but not really the most interesting use of the world :/
Hey everyone hope you enjoy the reaction!! Thanks again for being patient on me with this one!! Grave Of The Fireflies will still be out this week along with Rio and another surprise movie!!

Ooo
Hope you prepare yourself of this one🤧
But can’t wait for this surprise movie😎😎😎😎
(But also take your time, no need to rush😌)
I hope 🤞🏻 it’s Stuart little 2.
I love that Wade is shown as willing to cry as he is to jump into a flood to save someone. He's emotional AND strong.
Elemental doesn't deserve all of the hate that it gets, I mean yeah it's definitely far from perfect but in my opinion it's an interesting story.
Same for me too
I second that. The elemental characters are a personification of immigrants living in a different country from their own. And its director knew it from personal experience.
There just nothing but haters

I think because when does a love story it feels more real and less over lovey dover
Elemental is easily one of Pixar’s most underrated. Glad that it saw a nice recovery at the box office, even if it came close to breaking even.

Hi Nick! If you’ve heard of Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (1967), apparently the director of Elemental drew inspiration from it!

To be honest, after watching Elemental I unironically wanted to live and love. Thank you Pixar for this feeling
This movie explores so much: immigration, interracial relationships, discrimination etc & at the core of it all is this beautiful love story. I love this movie.
Wade is my favorite character

Awesome reaction of my favorite Pixar movie!!!!
This movie has a great style to it and i really like it.
Thank you so much for loving this movie and Wade, I totally agree how amazing they both are! I don’t get the hate for this movie, glad more and more people are loving it though!

This was genuinely a great movie
Inside Out + Zootopia = Elemental!
When I first heard of this movie, I had zero interest in it. But then I decided to give it a chance, and I did, and I liked it better than I thought I would! I hope to see more of this world and where Ember and Wade's story continue.
One other thing, last Fall, one of my previous science teachers invited me to watch this movie in her class, since they were learning about the Periodic Table and all of the elements, and right around the part of the grand opening ceremony, the class started to get tense. Then during the part where Wade "dies", they were upset! And I was just sitting there, like "This is getting good!" And then the whole Wade dripping happened, their excitement started to rise! And when it happened with Ember and Wade, the teacher paused the movie! And the class was like "No! Play it! We gotta see it!" And there I was, to save the day, leaned over and played the movie, and when it then happened, the classroom erupted! I believe that the elements actually also rely on zodiac signs and how Aquarius is more empathetic so that’s why the water people cry a lot.
It's a beautiful movie loved the representation they were doing
Every since I saw Elemental in theaters I really enjoyed the movie so much I don’t understand why the people didn’t like it
Everyone has their own opinions on everything I think it was a wonderful story about a few topics people don't like to discuss immigration and Interracial couples which I don't see the problem with but hey everyone is their own

I think there was supposed to be a post credit were I think that they would come back and I think they were supposed to have a kid
