I'm a Celtic man and thought that was hilarious. McCoist struggled as a manager. Don't actually mind him as a guy, he was hilarious on Question of Sport back in the day

as a class a drug addict of some 24 years I can identify with gazza. I feel so sorry for the man. a football genius who could have been the best footballer on the planet if it wasn't for his addictions. people who've never been there will never understand what life can be like for us. we are looked down upon by society, a society that is so incredibly ignorant to addiction . walk a day in mine and gazzas shoes and then tell me were 'bad' people. we're just the same as you but suffer unfortunately from a serious, chronic and terminal illness. gazza, I for one, salute you!!

Haha I have to be careful I don't start crowing, Karma and all that, we have a decent team at the moment no midfielders like Gazza but men who can play together as a team. England are desperate for good players.
Richie Jones I'm Scottish so I'd take most English players as Scotsmen right now I think. They're pish but we're even pisher. Not quite correct with the details concerning qualification. It used to be the case for the top two from BHC to be granted WC entry by FIFA but that had finished by the 1960's. The incident you recall was actually a Wales 'home' group qualification game played at Anfield owing to crowd trouble in a previous game at Cardiff - I presume FIFA had put a one match ban on Wales playing on home soil so the nearest (and largest - Gate receipts and all that) ground outside of Wales was hired for the gig. And yes, Jordan did cheat by deliberately 'knocking on' with his hand, altho he could never have imagined the fluky 'reward' it would achieve.
Through out his life bad people would take advantage of him. Probably the greatest player to come from England.... Had the world at his feet. Sadly, it went Jimmy five bellies up on him...
I never got to see Gazza or Alli play as I moved to London from Scotland in 73. A few pranks that happened down south. I drove off from work after a shift and every time I pressed the brake pedal the car horn sounded. I had a Citrion BX and thought I had an electrical problem. I got Gazza's attention through the window as I was going to ask for an autograph, he came out and we spoke, he asked what I was doing and noticed the bag in my hand.
