I wish everyone would realize how much God loves them. Jesus Saves! His arms are open for all to come to him. Thank you for sharing love and kindness to people ❤️ 😊
Sadly, sometimes people are so far into the darkness that they can't see any kind of light. I hope we can all change that with our little acts of kindness!
Last year on May 30 my nephew took his own life. Working on my own feelings I painted a bunch of kindness rocks and put the new suicide prevention phone number,988, on the back of them. My sister (his mother) and I hid them in a beautiful wooded park my nephew liked to visit which was therapeutic for both of us. We hoped that someone who needed the message might find one of them and indeed one of them was posted by someone to whom it was very meaningful.
I am so very sorry for your loss! What a beautiful way to honor your nephew's memory, and what a gift to actually hear of the positive impact your kindness had!
Hugs for you from The Villages, FL retirement community where we have lots of rock painters meeting weekly at various recreation centers to paint rocks for others to find all over The Villages and beyond. Kindness rocks are a very popular type here. 🤗🥰
This video should be heard/seen by many people Jessica. I too get overwhelmed by all the pain the world is experiencing these days. Bless you for YOUR kindness !!!
Awww thank you so much! I think a lot of us get weighed down by the heavy things in the world, and sometimes it's just hard to figure out what to do with that. I'm so thankful I found this hobby that has so many silver linings! ❤️ Have a great day!
You are such a kind person and the world needs more people like you! That is what drew me to your channel and is the reason I keep watching! Great video! Keep being that light in this sometimes dark world!😊
Awww thank you so much! 🥰 I feel like I'm pretty careful about how much to share on here sometimes, but at the same time I think it's a bit disingenuous to act like everything is always sunshiney! I just hope we can make this huge collective impact with our small acts of kindness!
Empathy and saddest can run deep in our society...do one small thing every day to make it better..combat hate by throwing love and kindness.. and make sure your registered to vote....
I’m so sorry you have been experiencing such sad feelings. You make a difference in this world with your kindness rocks and video tutorials. I appreciate you! ❤
You're so sweet! I appreciate you being here! I'm sire we all have days or weeks like this...I definitely am guilty of only sharing the good stuff mist of the time! 😉
❤ THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS WITH US! I PAINTED ROCKS BACK IN 2007. LIFE HAPPENED AND I NEGLECTED MY SELF-CARE! (TIME TO MYSELF). NOW...., I AM 53 AND HAVE STAGE 4 COPD! IF IT WASN'T FOR BUYING ALL NEW PAINTS, AND MOLDS TO MAKE MY OWN AND WATCHING YOU AND OTHER PEOPLE PAINTING ROCKS, I WOULD BE SO LONELY. ... I ONLY HAVE A FEW PEOPLE THAT EVEN CHECK ON ME AND THE TIME SPENT IN MY OWN HEAD WITH THIS DISEASE IS SO DEPRESSING. UGH! I'M GETTING READY TO PUT PAINT TO ROCKS NOW. I STILL HAVE ROCKS FROM YEARS AGO TOO.. SO NO MORE HESITATING. TIME TO FIND MY PEACE! THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE. CHERYL S. FROM ILLINOIS
Thank you for sharing this, I lost my Dad to suicide in 1990. I understand that sad and heavy feelings. I deal with moderate depression and music, birds and now painting rocks keeps me balanced.
I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how hard that must be. I'm so glad you've found not one, but three things to bring you balance and joy! What a blessing!
Jessica, wow !!! These are some tiny rocks with huge meanings. There all very beautiful and you know I love the colors. I’m so sorry about the student at your university that’s hard to swallow. Thanks for sharing these tiny rocks that could save someone someday. 5:12 Looking forward to your next video 😊💜
Aww, I usually end my UA-cam videos talking about being kind. I just retired from working at a school working with kids with autism. But I have seen so much bullying going on, not only to those students but others as well. You would think these kids would wise up seeing all these mass shootings going on, that they would think twice, but it still goes on. I’m sorry you had a sad week and hoping next week is better
I can't quite figure out what the answer is, but it's so sad to me that some kids get to the point of hurting others and that others are living in this constant state of alert and anxiety. But I also see hope and tenacity in our youth that I have to believe will win out in the end!
I did this in February and I didn't use tape. I had to go back and straighten my lines though. I used orange and gold. I've not finished putting my words on it though...😅
I really enjoyed your rocks. Great idea. Unfortunately, life in our Nation is only going to get worse. There is only One hope and that is Jesus Christ. I am just getting started with rock painting. Just go my equipment and waiting for my rocks. Jesus is known as the rock, because He is a firm foundation. Blessings, Josh
