I would also recommend mods if you're getting somewhat bored of the vanilla gameplay. I'm personally a really big fan of the 'Packmaster' mod, which allows you to put together a custom deck from numerous other pack cards (including vanilla cards) at the start of each run
I only just bought this and all i can say is that its rly good. Can be frustrating at times when the RNG really works against you but then thats a rogue like. If you are into rogue likes, definitly get this.
I went "it'd be cool to be able to interchange the colors of the cards" and then 5 minutes later I get a relic that allows me to find and play all colors 😂
Yeah the prism is always an exciting relic to find! Probably 90% of the time it makes you unstoppable, and the other 10% of the time it totally bricks your run 😂
All true, it's a big learning curve and it wrecks you until you learn how to build a deck. It's punishing, but very fair with no BS mechanics, so it's super fun and rewarding when you figure out how to make things work!
@@vgameface yer I'll download it after work it's on sale android store I don't use PC or consoles.. well not anymore due to work travel bunch of kids 😅 mobile is my only option now days
Idk about it. After playing Slay the Spire for couple hundred of hours, i feel like it's just bad copy of real TCF games. It's still very fun, but imho, i would better play yugioh or mtga
It's a single-player game so the cheating doesn't matter too much, but you're correct... it's best to only compare scores between yourself and your friends, and just avoid toggling the global leaderboards 😂
Absolutely worth it. Almost every indie game, role-playing game, and board game on the planet has something to learn from _Slay the Spire._
Sometimes, a game just manages to do everything right. Definitely some lessons for other games out there.
This is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played.
It is a masterpiece!

100%, packmaster mod is the best. They keep adding packs as well, so the replayability is insane.
Very nice! I haven't messed around with any mods, I'll definitely check it out!

I just bought it on sale. Thanks for the review!
Hell yes! Enjoy your new masterpiece!
One of the best games i have in my cellphone!
I just bought a physical of this for my switch along with into the breach. Cant wait to try them both out.
Oh nice, have fun! I only put about 10 hours on Into The Breach but it was an interesting strategy game. I should go back...

It's also available on mobile 😁
Fantastic, it'll be in more places than Skyrim soon
If i downloaded from steam can i get it free from App Store?
Spent 200 hours in this game
Excellent, as you should!
Never played it looks super complex looks like a big learning curve for me never played any type of card game feel like I'll get wrecked and give up

@@arh7897 I haven't played on mobile but I hear good things. Under $10 is a steal, I hope you enjoy!
Yes.
sooooooo fucking good
My only issue with this is how boring the character design is

Then why did you play it for hundreds of hours when you could have played yu gi oh?
@nahqiv cuz yugioh is bad
Stone cold masterpiece
there have been thousands of games invented by humans over millenia. slay the spire is as perfect as any of them.
But challenge is full of cheaters
