People struggling with this: make sure you DO NOT have RESTORING FAITH skilled (a talent just above Immolation Grenade). You have to heal ONLY from Holy Revenant. Any other source of HP healing will block completion. If you aren't getting it the first try or even naturally it's likely because there's another source of healing ruining it for you.

Not sure if the game has been rebalanced since, but I was able to win on my 3rd attempt with about 12 perk points, and no chest. The later acts are definitely brutal without being perked out, and you really need to have both an energy engine and heal/shield engine online asap. A normal deckbuilder rewards dabbling, however this game has 4 characters in the party, each of which benefits greatly from specializing a synergistic deck that works with both their rank up rewards and perks. Every loss, your characters improve via perks and the bonus chest can really help Kickstart your next run (I recommend upgrading cards for usability asap) Keep an eye out for great items that enhance your chosen focus; buying 2 copies of the same item on the same character upgrades it to a stronger version

Bruh I am 537 days in and still haven't found it 😭 or the guilded root

for deck size the only time ive found having a large deck in a deck builder beneficial is by working with the vanish/burn/ethereal meaning that by turn 3 your deck is a small deck and all the burn cards just give you an alpha strike for the first turn or two

I only just bought this and all i can say is that its rly good. Can be frustrating at times when the RNG really works against you but then thats a rogue like. If you are into rogue likes, definitly get this.

I used to adore this game. Spent 400+ hours into it and even bought the DLC to support the devs. Then they censored the women's portraits, didn't pay their translators, allegedly copied assets from other games, and revealed their pro-LGBT words were false and they were actually anti-LGBT in their actions. They lied to their fans only to censor them and will ban their critics across Steam, Discord, and the Subreddit for no reason.

Having no seasons only makes the game dull.

Build still semi-viable despite changes and nerfs. WIth that said there will be a massive rework at the end of this month, so this build may or may not still be viable then, we'll have to see. But it has lasted a year so it will likely continue to remain a solid starting build.

As a melee zealot main Trapper: dodge sideways and kick her ass Dog: dodge sideways and kick his ass Sniper: dodge sideways and run at her and kick her ass Pox bursted: melee block shove them and dodge back Flamers: run at them and kick their ass. Maybe dodge sideways to avoid fire Mutant: dodge sideways and kick his ass Crusher: let your team deal with it, you’ll get bodied Bulwark: beat on the shield to hold agro and let your team lay into his back or lay into him while he’s agro’ed on teammates Reaper: just beat his ass. He’s not that tough Gunner: take cover til he’s done firing, rush him and kick his ass Mauler: block shoves are your friend, stun him and kick his ass Rager: same as above, but they tend to get mixed into mobs more. Dodging sideways around the mob while swinging usually works I’m aware how brain dead these seem, but they are legitimately the tactics I use to counter them and they work very well
