@nutterhm yes if you reset the bsi then write the eeprom into it then disconnect then read it again if it has stored the vin and password then its cloned correctly if the vin is blank and the password not found then it has the be programmed by dealer tool on the bench or in the car vin pincode and key ok
did you have to program the key back in ? or was it plug and Play ?
