Ya I wish I could have used that 1 butterfly kick, back in 2003, my best time 106:63 a school record, easily 2 seconds faster using that off the blocks and 2 turns! At least 2 seconds! Wouldn't surprise if I could have swam into 1:03s!

@SwimSphereTV I def wouldn't call Qin goat either, not yet at least. My problem with Peaty is that he simply is not a top 10 200 breast swimmer, therefore he can never be the representative goat in breaststroke. Sprint, yes. I mean, ZSC was quite dominant in the 200 for a while including holding the WR. But you all never seem to bring him into the conversation? It's just so one sided. We're not just talking about the 100 breast after all

Dolphin kicks?! Please show me some examples of this as I’ve never seen it. Curious comment given it’s not something he gets accused of and his technique is probably the most analysed stroke ever.

Qin Haiyan won 15 consecutive races in 2023, 5 crowns 50 100 200. Now his sole existence is to break 100 meter record and shut up the arrogant British!
what exactly makes him arrogant?
Qin has a questionable drugs record, so it will always be difficult to look at his performances without suspicion. Why do you say Peaty is arrogant? All dominant performers have an air of confidence, look at Phelps, Bolt, Tiger Woods, Federer. You have to have high levels of self-belief to keep pushing yourself and achieving like that. I may be wrong but I don’t think Peaty has ever talked badly about or belittled his competitors, so to say he is arrogant seems very unjustified.
