I loved watching this growing up in the 70's. It was unique because it showed all kinds of women and you didn't know what to expect from them talent wise. Besides, Rip Taylor was hilarious!

Wow, twenty ladies looking awesome in their bathing suits at the 1:56 mark, oh my god, I love Diane the belly dancer and she was super awesome and all six ladies looking fabulous in their bathing suits at the 18:28 mark, this is a great episode one of the $1.98 Beauty Show classic!

Although the episode was originally 24 minutes long, two of them were removed to allow more time for commercial breaks.
Removed were the parting gift descriptions.

I watched this with my dad, I was like 5 then and didn't understand fully how much this was spoofing beauty pageants . There were Taylor's in my family and my father for the longest time had me believing that Rip was a distant cousin.
