I love how half the video was Nezarec. Very much like how Nezarec was about 75% of my total time on the Day 1 clear. I found out after that glaives for grabbing Hatred was broken due to the glaive dmg resistance. Would have saved me a lot of trouble.
How are you only at 60k? This is honestly my favourite destiny channel. Also I can relate to having a four hour rest in the middle of Nezarec, that guy drove all my lfg teams insane.
Lance is voicing hellboy in the new hellboy game so we can hear him one last time. Also the new seasonal mission ends with Zavala mourning over someone’s body and god damn the timing couldn’t be worse.
Also I liked this Raid's difficulty! We actually had people in my clan ask to try out different roles and learn more than others. Usually, they learn one role and go with that but as it was so approachable they felt more confident. P.S: I will always hate Spire of Stars with the daisy chain and final stand ball bullshit 🤣
I think this raid is about even overall compared to Vow for me, buuuut I think Rhulk just beats out Nezarec for final boss, still a great time running it though, and a fantastic video as always!

I will always like root of nightmares, because just before light fall I and others left the clan that I was with. I had to rebuild my day one team and start a new clan. Thankfully, some of the people were on the team already came back, but I still had to fill with lfg we where in for 11h and got the clear it was my first compiled contest raid after trying since leviathan dayone. I’m extremely proud of my team and it’s something I’ll never forget. Keep up the great videos! Rest in peace Lance

Me and my friends got a week 1 clear of this raid (4 days after release) I love the look of this raid and the incredible amount of communication that is going on during all the fights Everyone has something to call out or track. congrats on the day 1 man love from Sweden
I kinda want to see you guys do a raid where the only things you can say are something related to your names. what i mean by this is that Lochi can only try to make axolotl noises, Duck can only quack, you have to use toad voice (from mario) or make toad animal noises. stuff like that, I feel like it would just be chaos incarnate as you would have a variety of communication, from some people being able to speak entire sentences to others only being able to make certain sounds. another idea is a raid where you can only say Jotuun, like vault of telesto and breads fall.
Great video. Glad to see you guys ended up getting it done. I left the stream around midnight so I didn't get to see the end. For Macrocosm and Nezarec my team's major problem was the number of adds. So we put an Orpheus Rig Hunter and an Osmiomancy Gloves Warlock on add control and it made the fights much easier.
I was tuning in occasionally live, for this being the second day one you've attempted your teams mechanics discovery was actually really good (even if these mechanics were a little simpler than prior raids). Good attempt on trying to get a completion before the 24 hour mark

I remember getting our day one clear and scrolling through UA-cam before falling asleep and seeming you stream with you guys on Nez and just me hoping you’d get the clear as I passed out
My team, Cult of the Aeon, took 13 hours to clear Root of Nightmares, 11 of which were at Nezarec. It's a beautiful and good raid but I'd like to see the Final shape raid be longer as well. RIP Lance Reddick. We'll see you starside

That boss idea is actually really cool, before you start damage after whatever mechanics are in place are complete, someone should get a buff to shoot the wings off and crash it into the area. That’d actually be amazing
Congrats on the contest clear! I ended up getting it on the 27th hour of it existing thanks to a friend who pulled me into a group that was doing well. Unfortunately we had to split from our initial team after the first day due to a couple of them being ill-prepared, but hopefully I can get a clear together with them next year (certainly not during Wrath of the Machine because I don't think I want to do a Day 1 raid twice in one sitting).
It takes strong combat proficiency to be able to clear the challenge modes for reprised raids since the mechanics are generally simpler than new original raids
Planets was the most painful thing to do, it took so much of my time. Once the team I was with got to Nezarec, we failed to beat him, constantly having to wipe everytime before starting our final damage phase due to so many people dying before then. Sad times And shall our Commander rest. R.I.P Lance.
As one pro to another I respect the weapon choices although I find them very peculiar I mean personally I would run Khvostov 7G-02 due to its immaculate dps and ad clearing.
My team had to do Nezerac twice. On the last stand one of us got booted and the rest of us completed it with the burn of 2 fusion grenades, and a witherhoard. We weren’t going to let that slide so we picked him up in orbit, went back in, and made Nezzy pay. The guy that got booted also got the exotic, but none of us were mad cause the dude deserved it after being cheated.
Something that me and my team did on day 1 was leave the tormentor on low hp until the timer reset. We then would kill it and our timer would increase to 1 minute all the time
25:14 during my day one, I was in this exact situation but instead my thundercrash hit 90k instead of 250k because I hot swapped off for aeons and forgot to switch back for damage phase, that one mistake caused 6 more hours of suffering…
