In today's video I'll be attempting to solo the new Warlords Ruin Dungeon!! in my opinion this is hands down the hardest dungeon bungies released, and I had one hell of a rough time trying to solo it. as you know I'm not the guy to ask if you're looking for the best loadouts or the most cracked techniques, I'm kinda just a destiny player. So, on that note, here is How NOT To Solo WARLORDS RUIN! oh yeah, and SMASH THAT LIKE BUTTON OR ELSE 🌚

A quick tip to deal damage at the last boss easier. You can run straight to the next floor and damage it from up top so you can avoid the psions spawned when damage starts.
Edit: they patched that
I was using a well warlock and needed to trigger sunbracers for the debuff on the boss.
So I stayed down by the psions

For the Final Boss you should have gone Merciless. It's perfect for cranking large numbers in a short amount of time.

If you do decide to gun for solo flawless, dragon’s breath is so good for second and third boss. I managed to three phase the second boss with it and the eremite during my solo flawless run
I 4 phased without eremite and used one 2 punch in between charges

What seems to be the best damage strat besides strand titan for the ogre is dragons breath with a fusion rifle, it staggers him on every ignition and has incredible damage
Also leviathans breath. Does about 100k per shot, up to 120k with surges, and it staggers the boss after every shot.
I did a solo flawless of this (it took me like 4 weeks) - every encounter load out was Solar Titan with Dragon’s Breath.
Rathil and Locus were Pyrogales and the new fusion, Hefnd was Supremacy and Synthos
As a fellow titan main, I recommend dipping your toes into the strand titan one-two punch method. With tractor and either synthoceps or worm god’s it’s mind boggling how much damage u can do solo.

Old video so u likely wont see this but if u have roaring flames u can unpowered melee and it will still count as a powered melee so u get the usual effects like radiant and the creation of a sunspot. It is really useful on low health ads and greatly decreases the chances of whiffing a hammer throw. U wont get cured since that is exclusive to throwing hammer.

Man I feel you on the final boss. I was practicing for Solo Flawless and I had gotten everything down except him. At that boss, you basically can not make a mistake since if you do the chance of you dying goes up by an insane amount. Pair that with having to loadout swap (on Hunter for me at least), making sure you have ads alive but not too many, keeping restoration up and all the other factors and he is tough. Luckily just as my run was about to be ended, I took him into final stand and tickled him to death. Fun dungeon, I'd rather do Ghosts of the Deep again.
Yeah, I need to get solo op so I can finally do Akelous without risk of my hair falling out because I'm tearing it off of m y scalp.

Goated Video as always, it was an experience watching both streams.
I did this with 2 other people and after almost 2 hours we finally beat it after 2 people left and we beat the final boss after 4 to 6 tries. I got only 2 pieces of the armor and cried for 30 minutes

One thing you might try is playing warlock with karnstein armlets and using a solar glaive. Every single glaive melee kill will refresh restoration. It is by far the easiest way to stay alive in this dungeon.

I had to get the check point for Hefnd practiced it over and over until I had it down pat. Theres a lot that can go wrong in that fight and it all happens so quickly!
Congratz on the solo. Can only speak for myself, by im an experienced player who have master strand 1-2punch, this dungeon was no cake walk to me neither. Going your own way and not what everyone is telling you is a great lesson to learn, been the play for me many times. o7 guardian!

Great video. Just finished my solo and this is pretty much how it felt! Lol. Granted , I'm a warlock.
Brave weapon choices and a bit off meta, loved the process.
Most of this dungeon was vex mythosimulator for me because of how much damage it can do to ads and the chieftains who give you the wish spells.
Amazing job getting this solo dungeon run done! It is. A big one XD, but it was really cool to see your different tactics you went through. Very bold to use a linear on the ogre. I do not have that skill, congrats man!!
I’m still working on a solo flawless and brother, this dungeon has taught temperance and patience.
Usually I waltz into a dungeon with the usual loadouts and it’s just “throw yourself at it.” This dungeon made me stop and think for a bit. I discovered the boons of using Dragon’s Breath and Phoenix protocol on 1st boss for wells every phase. I realised arc lock was actually kind of goated for the ad clear on 2nd boss and it gives me 2 rifts per damage phase (you have to be pretty aggressive though. Believe me when I say I had the Yakuza Grand Prix 3rd lap music playing in my head for that entire boss fight.)
Final boss was crazy. I tried strand, arc, even stasis at one point. I ended up using that meta sunbracer build with infinite restoration with an incandescent Ammit. Permanent healing is a must. I used Izanagi with a BnS/Reconstruction Apex. Turns out, in a well, 2x4 Izzy shots will net you the DPS check if you sprinkle in a sun racer volley inbetween. Leaves you with full rocket ammo for the DPS at the summit.
What I’m trying to say, is I learnt one thing. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. No other dungeon has taught me that more than this one.

Seriously enjoyed this video, I feel this is my journey with duality dungeon. So many times I've had caitl to a thread of health and something silly happens. If I wasn't set on the solonflawless,I may have solo'd it by now.
As a hunter who has soloed Warlord's Ruin, Celestial Nighthawk with Merciless or Dragons Breath, especially Dragons Breath, is a really good option. Though its best to fire Celestial Golden Gun last during a damage phase as there is a small delay before it goes away.
If you have the artifact mod on though itll apply weaken if you goldie him first

I had sooooo many deaths soloing this dungeon. Physically felt each weird loss from the frost or getting booped. GG gamer!
It would be nice if queenbraker could be meta if not only for the cathartic satisfaction of taking out fallen with their own dam rifle.
I'm not gonna say anything, cause my solo flawless took me 10 straight days of pain and misery. But I'm super proud of how you persevered through the dungeon to get the solo, even though ogre took you many many hours of attempts, I know you persevered through. Ogre will forever be a rough bossfight and Hefnd will never not be easy, glad you pushed through and I can't wait for the next solo dungeon.

Out of curiosity, I could not find the track that played when you were fighting Hefnd. May I know what the track is, please?
For my crayon eaters out there tryna solo OR solo-flawless, this is what I did:
I honestly find Titan to be the easiest to do it on. First boss I used largest hammer w/ Pyrogale and Lament and it’s usually a 3-4 phase. Get Roaring Flames x3 and hit the boss with the Largest Hammer(Trademarked) then Lament. Repeat till unalivement. Second boss is more or less the same, but instead use Levi’s Breath since every fully drawn hit is a stun so just keep hitting him with it, then swap to a fusion of choice (Preferably the Scatter Signal w/ either Slice + Controlled Burst or Overflow + CB. Final boss is then Izanagi’s and (if you don’t have it, then use a rocket of choice) Recombination + B&S Apex. Swap to mini hammer + Synthos and don’t worry about using those for damage, use them to take care of the chieftains since it 3 or 4 shots them. Do that till final 3 smaller islands, but swap to Loreley’s for the Restoration. I hope this helps!
Edit: For final stand on the Hefnd, you can leave the damage platform and grab ammo or go far FAR away and snipe him with Izi and rockets, made my run guaranteed at that point…unless you get error coded, which then you’re kinda screwed
Im going to go for the solo tonight, been practicing for the last week, and I cannot describe how much it helps to see that the 9 hour run and 4 hour oger does not mean its impossible (also this is my first solo dungeon and I'm on warlock)

Queenbreaker is almost there. Damage tests find it doing about the same as a bait and switch linear so my idea for a buff. 1. Increase reserves 2. Increase the range of the chain reaction 3. Make it so stunned champions take 50% more damage

Great video! Honestly quite interesting that you see this as their hardest dungeon as its the easiest theyve made since Spire i think. Though i suppose its different for me as the only dungeon i havent solod is GOTD and now Ruin but Im taking my time with Ruin lol. Plus we have Solo Op again this season so that will make it mich easier and maybe even make GOTD easier lol.
Strand titan is 100% worth getting familliar with. Having a x4 stack of banner provides good regeneration, and woven mail has great damage reduction and it actually takes less effort to keep up since it refreshes on any method of killing.
Its one of those dungeons that when you complete it solo rather solo flawless or not its one of the best feelings ever.
If the toad can do it I probably could as well would be a pain in the ass though hell I had trouble on Grasp of all things I still struggled, great content that Dovahkin part was actually pretty cool

Something that might help in your solo runs is to run a weapon with extrovert as if you get surrounded and kill an enemy with that weapon you can get a bit of health back, you can get them from the exotic mission: presage

As someone who picked up Banner of War + One Two Punch this season...
Its uh... something.
Easy to learn, pretty different to master. And even to today, I still have no idea how I get some of the larger numbers I have in the past.
But its fun, just would suggest learning it in older content first. Rather fun to use in Duality or Pit of Hearsay because of the common enemy amount + not too much else to think about at the moment.

A few tips on the ogre.. the minotaurs will not respawn till after your damage phase, so taking them out at the start of each cycle helps a lot. Also when running around between damage phases, if you kill all but 1 eye, it allows you to easily get a bunch of enemies killed to farm ammo, kill the minotaurs, or take the orbs to the torches. Also the boss has a hard time hitting you when you are moving perpendicular to it. moving in a straight line towards or away from the boss makes it easier to get hit into next tuesday. It has exceptionally bad aim.

Another thing you can use with strand is wormgoddess caress, especially after the buff they gave to it that makes it last longer and easier to sustain, which can give big numbers

You're a braver person than me. I've tried soloing dungeons and only barely managed to complete Spire. I don't think I'll attempt solo after this. Also, adding Charlie's "WOOOO" meme to the Locus when the first dps phase started had me WHEEZING.

While solo flawlessing may technically be harder I find soloing much more mentally draining, like with a solo flawless you die and come back fresh another day, but with a solo clear you feel you have to stay in, you feel like if you leave you lose everything, and with that said, Congrats on winning man.

it look me 3.5 hours to solo on hunter, i did the first two encounters flawlessly and died once while traversing and 9 times to the final boss including once by not knowing they patched final stand cheese
I just want to know if you're running heavy handed and the boot mod when you pick up an orb you get a health bump and your regen starts. It makes or breaks runs.
To the people thinking it'll be impossible to solo this themselves: solar warlock. No no, don't look at me like that, I feel your pain here. I'm a Hunter main and I can admit that warlock is one of the best solutions here(unless you've mastered strand titan BS that exists now). For the build you can probably look it up, but the basic run down is sunbracers, well of radiance, dragons breath(you may want to ditch this for a linear or some like that for the last boss but it still could be good), and a good fusion rifle. I recommend scatter signal with overflow and controlled burst. As I said, if you want the rest of it, go look it up, matics has a really good one plus a restoration loop that will make you borderline immortal.

Imo, Ghosts solo flawless was harder to me. But it does depend on your class and loadout. I ran Solar Titan on Ghost. For Warlords, I ran Solar and Arc Warlock.
Quick tip for any Warlock struggling (For some reason) while Sunbracer Warlock is really good, if you are having trouble with second or final encounter due to healing problems (can't/didn't keep track of timer or no adds to keep timer up) during damage phase, then Vesper of Radius arc Warlock is really good. Constant healing rifts as long as you have like 2 - 3 adds nearby. Arc souls to help kill adds in any encounter. In final, the blinding effect helps a lot as the immune guy stays blind for a looong time. So it's very easy to give him the debuff and you don't have to jump around trying to avoid him. Makes getting four totems super easy.
During the second boss I was pushed off so many times I just got into the rhythm of not jumping at all unless i was going up the stairs and even still he almost got me a few times
My only reason for not using controller is just because you can disconnect at the worst times. It scares me. Your dedication also scares me but amazing job on this.
Rìskrunner would be a good choice here for arc except theres not any enemies that really do arc dmg so its kinda useless. Voltshot works great though. Im on warlock so i did crown of tempests with geomags quickswap to buff chaos reach. Crown with voltshot ikelos smg and jolt nades lets you have really high rift uptime and arc soul helps manage weak enemies. I had thunderlord on for dps (theres prolly a better option but i didnt really know what would be ideal) and a scout rifle to break the eyes.
my eternal torment of "solo flawless the new dungeon Day 1" has me relating real hard to a lotta this, especially the parts with inexperience (and the nine million Psions in the final boss)

They should make queensbreaker a special instead of heavy and reduce the damage to account for that and then maybe just maybe it could be useful
U should use severance enclosure for the ads
Fun fact, queen breaker was unironically really good for scourge of the past. It did better dps against the final boss than Whisper, and was a very good contender alongside sleeper since legendary lfrs werent that great back then.
I actually even used it for my flawless run. Weapon could use some love nowadays but still has my respect

Congratulations on finally achieving victory! I've solo'd Ghosts of the Deep so I know how painful solo runs can be, and I wish you could leave to orbit without losing the triumph, but congrats on sticking with it. The health on those bosses is honestly pretty absurd.
Also, I have a question, as a fellow... shall we say non-PvP fan? Hoe did you get the witherhoard catalyst? Was it just pure tedious grind, or was there something you did to make it bareable?
Honestly these days, just put on a wave frame launcher and go into a mode where you can have lots of ammo. Its one of those things you just gotta slog through
