So glad we heeded a recommendation to your channel! Congratulations LeeAnn on your finish🎉. Great projects all around, and loved hearing all the turtle 🐢 news, too ❣️
We got a few more inches over the weekend but it mostly melted today. Hopefully we will get some spring weather and not go right into summer. Thanks for watching.
Thank you, Sharon! We have LOTS of snowflakes we could share with you! We just missed another big storm! First one that missed us! I hope spring gets here soon.
Hello Deb. Thanks for watching our video. I check all the charts I get now to make sure that there isn’t any over ones. I have gotten a few charts before I really started to check. Some I haven’t done yet and some I have recharted the over one part It’s kinda disappointing when you find the over one parts and you really want to do the chart.
You two are famous. A picture from 24 hours of cross stitch is next to recipes submitted by Justine for the 2023 Nashville Needlework cookbook. Your sampler finish is beautiful. Can’t wait to see it framed. We had a dusting of snow last night and the temperature is dropping, but luckily we can see the grass. Hopefully you will be done with snow soon.
I’d love to see a baby turtle. That’s be so cool. I also loved the quilts, especially the miniature one. I’m starting to get into miniatures. They are addictive. Thanks for sharing everything ❤
While we (Grand Rapids, MI) don't have near as much snow as you do, but this winter is getting old. I've started watching gardening shows - especially ones about British gardens. Anything to cheer on the color! Although, I do have to say, my most loved things to see these days is the beauty of blue skies and dry pavement. Ring the bell for a great video! Thanks, ladies!
Jeannie, your FFO’s are beautiful and LeAnn, your sampler finish and miniature quilt are beautiful as well. Both you gals do great work. Sure hope your snow has started to go away a bit. I’m ready for Spring as well. It’s my favorite season!
Love the introduction! Congratulations on your sampler LeAnn- it's beautiful. Thank you for sharing all your lovely FFO's and WIP's Jeannie. I always enjoy your videos.
I always feel so comfortable watching you guys. Like I'm sitting with friends. Don't envy you the snow. Ours comes and goes in Central Washington. Keep up the good work!
Very happy to visit and stitch with you two. Excited about the baby turtles. I wanted to say thank you for the explanation of the difference between the Civil War fabric and the 30s reproduction in your previous video. I nearly choked laughing when Jeannie said "about 70 years". The sampler finish is stunning. Fabulous work. Happy stitching my friends. 🧡🧡
Thanks for sharing! Great projects! I don't have any snow, and I'm still begging spring to hurry up already! Yes bring on the flowers! I have daffodils budding out! Yeah!
We are getting more snow today. And it is going to be cold this weekend, in the teens, so it won’t melt anytime soon. But it’s moisture so am thankful for that.
I thoroughly enjoy your videos. It is so fun to see your friendship, and I am a little jealous of all the adventures you share. Leanne congratulations on your beautiful finish. Jeannie all of your FFO's are so well done and pretty. Jeannie, I'm not sure if this would work for your husband, but a Scrabble game stand might work for a display of round letters, so that might help him visualize it. Good luck!! Love all of the quilts.
Jeannie your FFO’s to your WIP’s are beautiful. Love the Easter one your working on. LeAnn, you did well, keeping the secret of finishing your sampler!! Looks great! Loved the cowbell😄😄😄 The vintage pillow case and portfolio both look great. Now I can’t wait for you to finish your very own first quilt. Your first sampler on the wall and first quilt on your bed, that will be grand!!! Oh I saw the striped eggs done with hearts for Valentine day. How is that red quilt coming that you had behind you on the wall? The one I liked to stare at.
Hello Jeannie and LeeAnn. We just got a condo in Shorewood, Illinois and thought gosh we don't get much snow here and Minnesota is right up the road. Well, it's over 400 miles to Lindstrom, Ha! Ha! on me! Not as close as I thought. Snow is still piled high at our home in North Idaho. Hoping spring comes for you soon. Always look forward to your videos.
Congratulations ladies on your beautiful finishes 🎉🎉 LeeAnn your sampler is beautiful, and I'm so happy for your finishing it. Jeannie, I love all of your finishes, especially the FFOs! Love your videos ❤❤
I am with you ladies on being ready for spring!! I’m near Mille lacs and I feel like it’s never going to stop snowing!!! I love my cross stitch journal. I use it to keep track of any conversions I’m making in thread. I’m going to order my second one soon.
I’m heading to the “Cities” next weekend from Wisco -the weather better be kind to us. 🎉Hoping to get to Stitchville while I am there. 🤞🏼Love watching you two ladies.
Thanks for another great video, it’s always good to see you both! So much great inspiration with all of your stitching and quilting projects. The sampler is a gorgeous finish, what a project! I don’t know if I would tackle something like that. I think I’m just more comfortable with stitching projects that are 12 x 12 or smaller. I’m so glad that there are people that enjoy both cross stitch and quilting, my two favorite hobbies. 😊
You guys!!!!! Such eye candy, Jeannie your needle has been on fire 🔥 and Leanne your sampler is amazing ❣️I love to see your videos pop up in my feed 🥰
We have had a warm winter in Texas. It may be a high of 40 or 50 one day then 80 the next. The only thing that has been consistent is little rain and much wind, I guess everyone has weather issues. I always enjoy your videos. You ladies are both so talented.
Thank you, Joyce! My turtle, Gracie, is a Western painted Turtle. That is MN's most common turtle. I let all of her babies go in the nearby ponds and lakes. I also have Indian Star Tortoises. Those tortoises come from other countries, so I have to sell those. I then have money to use to help the rescued turtles I get in and buy food, lighting, filters, etc. It's not cheap to keep turtles much less take in sick ones. Hope this answers your question.
Awesome video. Your accents! Love it. Hey Jeannie, I’m an Aida stitcher and run into problems when there are over one sections that I didn’t know about. How do you handle this or is there a way to know if there’s over one before you buy a chart? Thanks for any advice you can provide.😍
Sometimes the chart will list specialty stitches and over one stitches. Or else I look for the size description for different counts and check to see if they list Aida.
Hi Laraine! I ordered them from 123 Stitch and Fat Quarter Shop. They are also sold on Etsy. They are called Prairie Schooler Mini Cards. Hope this helps!
I use 2 threads. I like to do the loop method to start a stitch and I haven’t had any problems with it being bulky. I like the coverage. Thanks for watching!!
@@loosethreadstitchers1665 TYVM! You should post your Instagram names in your show notes so people can see what you’re talking about when you reference your Instagram. This was the only way I could see the pics of snow on your patio - Holy Cow! That’s a lot of snow!

I am watching this almost a month later you y'all are still getting snow! Your poor turtles! Love your stitching!
We got a few more inches over the weekend but it mostly melted today. Hopefully we will get some spring weather and not go right into summer. Thanks for watching.
Always so happy when you two put up a new video! Beautiful work! I'm sorry you have so much snow, I'm still waiting to see 1 snowflake!
Thank you, Sharon! We have LOTS of snowflakes we could share with you! We just missed another big storm! First one that missed us! I hope spring gets here soon.
It will all melt soon and just be a memory.

Thank you for your time to share your needle art with us. Always a joy to see you. And that nasty ole snow will be gone pretty soon.
Thank you JoAnne. I would much rather have this snow than a hot, humid summer. Seasons here are usually just long enough and then we get to change.
Jeannie, your FFO’s are beautiful and LeAnn, your sampler finish and miniature quilt are beautiful as well. Both you gals do great work. Sure hope your snow has started to go away a bit. I’m ready for Spring as well. It’s my favorite season!

Thanks, Charlotte! I thought you would like the cow bells! I FINISHED my first sampler!! Yippee!
Thank you Charlotte. I need to remember about the hearts next Feb. I put the red and white quilt away for a while while I did the shamrock one.

Another quality video. Love the finishes, so much talent between the two of you. Can hardly wait for the next ones.💕
Thank you so much!
Beautiful stitching and quilting! We haven’t had any snow this year😢. I feel like we have been in a bubble. It has all gone north of us.
Lucky you, Leslie! Come get some of ours! We will definitely share with you!😊
Thank you for sharing. Great video.

Nice job ladies! Getting ready to visit your area again the 2nd weekend of April. Can you do a dance to get rid of the snow? 🤣
I would definitely do a dance if I knew it would work!😅
Leanne your sampler is beautiful and Jeannie love your quilts
Thank you Rhonda.
I enjoy you both. We still have lots of snow! The hills of Hornby New York.
Thank you, Crystal! I'm glad there is snow in other areas! I was beginning to think we were the only ones with so much snow!
Love seeing all you ladies do!! What do you do with your baby turtles, LeAnn?

My mom loved turtles! I can remember she had a few. I bought the little Quaker turtle that was just released to stitch in her memory.
