Love your new sign. So cute! Your FFO’s, finishes and wips are all so great. Your enthusiasm is always contagious for me. So sorry you were sick Leanne. What a terrible feeling with the vertigo. Thanks for refreshing us on the albino turtles. I always learn. Can’t wait to see your summer setup for the turtles. Happy stitching until next time.
Jeannie, I like your block finishes. Your husband sounds like my dad…. No nail holes in the house walls. Well 1/4 of us have stitched the Silver needle piece. LeAnn the spool finish looks nice. I’m glad Father is on the right track now. The needle book and box is going to be very cute. How is Brawny doing ??
New subscriber here. Glad I found you. Just FYI: Moda owns the copyright to 'charm' packs and 'layer cakes' etc. That's why a simple 5" or 10" square has so many confusing names.
WHOOT WHOOT!!! Jeannie & LeAnn show 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 always makes my day! Jeannie’s needle has been on fire…WOW! Gorgeous finishes 😍. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been so sick LeAnn 🙁. My best friend is dealing with vertigo too & she’s miserable. Prayers for you 🙏🏼. Cant wait to see you two again (LOVE the long video) Happy Mothers Day & Memorial Day, 🇺🇸
Thank you both for an enjoyable video. I loved hearing about your life, stitching and quilting. Loved the updates on the turtles. Leanne, I hope you feel better soon. God both you ladies. ❤
My daughter had two yellow bellied slider turtles. One day she picked one up to kiss it. The turtle chomped down on her lip. Luckily she had a friend there beside her. This other person ran downstairs to get something to gently pry open the turtle’s mouth. My daughter’s lip had quite a gash. She had to go get a tetanus shot.
How lovely to see you two ladies again. You showed such beautiful FFO's! 'Git 'er done' really works. I have to get my rear in gear to do some finishes. LeAnn, I would vote for Creme Brûlée from Tabby Cat for the HATS Milthorpe pattern. I will love to see you work on this one. Your shopping tour was very successful. So much fun to see. Thanks for sharing. Happy stitching. Best, K
Your finishes are so beautiful, ladies, and so many ... you're amazing. I very much enjoyed your video and feel that I had the nicest visit with you. I love the projects that you showed and love your quilt too. Thank you for another turtle tidbits as those are always so interesting. Thank you for another wonderful video. I hope you feel completely better soon, Leann. Happy Mothers Day to you both.
Another great video ladies. I smiled when you mentioned piano playing and doing it for yourself only…I video myself playing piano for the end of almost every video. However, I have been teaching piano for almost fifty years. I am taking care of my neighbours albino bunny while they are away…the eyes are pink with a circle around the edge in a gorgeous shade of mauve. Nature is amazing.
Such beautiful works! ❤ Ladies, a request, could you hold up your works and haul a little longer for each? I don't seem to get a chance to study and savor your goodies!! 😁 Thank you! ❤
We sure can, Gigi! I think the camera was set a little too high this time also. It seemed when Jeannie was showing things, the bottom was cut off. Thanks for watching!😊
Good video!Vertiago is the awful. I can't go right like sleeping etc. I have suffered all my life. It hasn't been too bad last few years. But I am very careful 😉
Great video ladies! Sorry Leann that you were ill, it’s so frustrating. Having vertigo is miserable. Jeannie your FOs and FFOs are wonderful. It’s very sad when a shop closes whether it’s a stitching shop or quilt shop. Thanks for sharing your haul. The project bags using the stitched pieces are great. Happy Spring and Happy Mother’s Day to you both! 💐
Love seeing all the finishes. Leanne, I’m sorry you were ill. Being dizzy is no fun. Jeannie, I stitched the Over the River piece you used on the bag. It is framed and comes out every Christmas. I used the Thimbleberries fabric you used on the back to make a quilted wallhanging years ago. Happy stitching!
Our grandkids and their parents live over the river so I liked that piece too and I had the thimbleberries fabric in my stash so it worked out. Thanks for watching.
Amazing finishes - congratulations! I fell asleep last night ( unintentionally - it was late on the East Coast ) - was most curious about turtle tid bits and was happy to start the day this morning with good news …. Great video once again - thank you for taking the time ; hope you continue to feel better
I stopped last week and moved a young snapping turtle out of the road. It's shell was about 7" across. I couldn't tell which way it was heading because it was parallel in the road. I went by later and didn't see it in the road again, so hopefully I got it going in the right direction.
You two have no idea how excited I was to get the notification of a new video from your channel! Cute Scrabble tile board, too! It's always a nice visit with you ladies. I'd love to have a Minnesota spring. It's supposed to be 93 here this coming Thursday. 🥵 Jeannie, does your husband not want to make holes in the walls because it's a new house? LeeAnn, the hypersensitive hearing is so strange after normal hearing for so long. I woke up one morning about 1.5 years ago and couldn't hear at all in one ear. I got into an ENT within the week, he diagnosed me with allergies and recommended two nasal sprays. I did that for about a month and couldn't take the after taste any longer. My hearing returned, but it's not like it was. I have the hypersensitivity and distorted (not knowing where a sound is coming from) hearing. I hope yours goes completely to the normal you knew from before and you're also able to get back to all your hobbies and home projects. Have a wonderful rest of the month, with all included holidays!
So sorry to hear about your ear, too. I know what you mean about the nasal spray after taste! After I see the doctor, if she can't figure it out, I'm going to let my chiropractor take a swing at getting my ear unplugged. Thanks for watching!😊
Oh Leann so sorry you were sick I empathize with you both on the vertigo, have had it lots. Jeannie could you give me website of the tulip stitch . I tried Dorene Jones but saw a pic but no way to get it
Jeannie - do you know the trick to use a sewing machine needle to hang things? It works great and doesn’t put as big of a hole in the wall as a nail does. Just pound the needle in until the thick part is just about to go into the wall. We also built a new house and my husband was not wanting nails in the walls either but he doesn’t mind these.
❤. Amazing finishes and FFO’s! So, you had me at pickle bar!😂. I will be making a visit to the Silver Needle mid-October while on vacation. Do you recall the name of the place where the pickle bar is located?😂. I need to add the pickle bar stop to the itinerary!😂😂❤❤.
I think the name of the place is Goldies. It is within walking distance from the Silver Needle. They actually stopped the pickle bar but the server brings you a plate of assorted pickles before your order comes out. They were great. Thanks for watching.
I'm so glad you're are adhering to a filming schedule, because I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Jeanie, do you use one or two threads on 18 count? ~Erika
Thank you for watching and commenting Erika. I use 2 threads over one on 18 count with DMC and over dyed floss but if I’m using sulky, I use one over one. This gives me the look I like. Totally personal preference. Thanks again. Jeannie.
OK, I sent that comment in too soon. I so wish we could sit down together to talk about our stitching systems. I will address it in my next video because it takes way too long to write out. LeAnn, you are always forgiven for stumbling on my channel name. I am the one who made it confusing. Talk to you soon. Best, K
Oh Karen, I feel so bad about mixing up the name of your channel! Jeannie was the one who told me I was saying it wrong. I feel like we are friends even though we have never met! I will do better! Welcome home! Thanks do much for watching. I am still trying to figure out a system for myself. Love your Flosstube. Keep them coming!😊😊😊
Great video! Love your stitches and quilts. Love the 🐢🐢🐢 tidbits. Happy to hear your health is on the mend too❤.

Jeannie, I like your block finishes.

Glad you enjoy them, Cindy!
Holiday Inn is one of my favorite movies along with Whitw Christmas. I can't always find it to watch. Love all of your pieces. And turtle tidbits.❤
Thank you.
New subscriber here. Glad I found you. Just FYI: Moda owns the copyright to 'charm' packs and 'layer cakes' etc. That's why a simple 5" or 10" square has so many confusing names.
Welcome. Thanks for watching. I think most if not all the charm packs and layer cakes I have used have been one of the moda line of fabrics.
Happy Mother's Day, ladies! Love all the great finishes! Hope you make a complete recovery LeAnn.
Thank you, Alma! I'm good now!

Nature is amazing, isn't it! If you lived closer, I would have you teach me!😊 Thanks so much for watching!
It was so good to watch while I was stitching this afternoon. I’m always happy to see a new episode from you girls ❤ Happy Mother’s Day!
Same to you, Trish! Thanks for watching!
Thank you and happy Mother’s Day to you also.
I say try the Creme brulee! I think it'll be really pretty. Love watching your stitching and the friendship you share. Have a great week.
Oh thank you, Elizabeth! I think I am going to try the creme brulee!

Beautiful work ladies! Interesting learning about the turtles. A friend of mine has one that bangs into the tank. Now I know why.
Thanks for watching!
Love the finished Snowflake and Flag. I just bought those 2 patterns you made me.excited to get them going. 🎉🎉❤
They both are fun stitches. Enjoy.
Thanks for great video - always enjoy your stitching quilting and turtles. Have a great month

Vertigo has stopped me from doing things. No fun for sure.
Thanks for watching.
I just received a notice that JoAnns is exiting bankruptcy. It will remain open. I lost my local JoAnn, it was merged with a store farther away.
Sorry about your Joanns but glad that the company is staying open.
Fascinating turtle tidbits.
Thank you!😊

Thanks for watching and commenting. I don’t think it’s the holes in the wall that bothers my husband but he likes the uncluttered look.
Great finishes!!😊
Thank you.
Hi Ladies - do you look out onto a beautiful view from your stitching area?
I do. I window I stitch by looks out on the fields and some woods on the property. Very relaxing.
Oh Leann so sorry you were sick I empathize with you both on the vertigo, have had it lots.
Jeannie could you give me website of the tulip stitch . I tried Dorene Jones but saw a pic but no way to get it
It is a Durene Jones 2024 free chart called tulips. I think it was on the Friday freebies on time. But I don’t know how to go about getting it.
Thanks so much when I added Friday freebie to my Google search I was able to print it. Happy Spring!
