If Togo sincerely joins AES, I would move there, it's cleaner than Nairobi and most anglophone countries in Africa. Joining AES means less foreign control.
We are with the people of Aes but we can't join them officially because Togo has a huge impact in CEDEAO NB: Togo and Nigeria created CEDEAO many people don't know that but CEDEAO was an initiative of the former Togolese président with the aid of a Nigeria president
Well, your president is doing a marvelous job in redefining your country, Togo. Just like the other gentleman in Rwanda who has done an exemplary job of making his country a reference point for anything beautiful and progressive in Africa. Here, your president is doing similarly well, and it is highly commendable. Keep up the good work, and please work with your president to make your country a beacon of progress. Nigeria, on the other hand, big for nothing. Everywhere decrepit and nasty looking. Filth everywhere. Stuck in the years of mud houses even though this is year 2024. Nasty.

You are just being fixated on Negativity about Nigeria without any reasonable thoughts to share. You have probably lived in the village your whole entire life and just come online and make inflammatory comments about Nigeria. Cantankerous unpatriotic being, always talking down on Nigeria.
The downside is joining the British commonwealth. No doubt there’s great colonial influence. You can’t join ranks with the former colonizer and be expected to thrive
We live in a globalist world where the strongest economies are in Europe, North America and Asia. They thrive, while your mindset is still stuck on past colonialism and that is Africa's problem. We have seen that we need to choose a side, may it be with Europe, The US, China and Russia.

How about using African languages, in addition to the international language, English? If the country is simply adding another colonial language, they will remain lost. Also, why was the new area not designed for walking but for cars? This is one reason so many cities in developing countries are unpleasant and lifeless.
You've just said exactly what I was thinking. On the language issue, I was expecting the narrator to say they've now elevated a certain African language to be used side by side with French. And, yes, the city looks very car-centric
