My tendency is to be a little uptight about my home, and what you encouraged young mothers to do - enjoy the kids first and do your best with everything else - is so true. Your love, mutual respect and profound bond through shared values shine through, and just by the way you interact with each other we can see how close you are!
It was so nice to get to know the two of you better, learn more about your family, about you and your life and faith journey. It was pure delight for me!
Here are the things that touched me the most.
“Home is where the heart is: it’s not really the place, it’s the people that you are with.” I totally relate to that statement! I feel the same.
“Praying together as a couple, putting God right at the center of our marriage draws us together.” (I’m quoting from memory!) This is so true! When God is at the center of our love, as a couple, we know that we have all that we need! My husband and I began praying together at night, each night before bedtime, a long time ago, and it has helped us tremendously. We also ask each other for forgiveness, and we forgive each other every night, so that if we have hurt the other without even knowing it sometimes, this helps us heal. I can tell you that there were nights where we went to bed very late, because we wanted to forgive each other but couldn’t because we had strong disagreements. But it’s worth persevering, because we found that our love grew in those situations, and the Lord was always there to help us.
I was also very moved about what you said about having a child with special needs, and the wonderful things this situation can bring in your life. Also, noticing the neat things about your son, like the fact that he can’t hold a grudge, marveling at the unique and beautiful person that he is, all of that touched me deeply. You are a profound and beautiful person, and so is your husband! I loved being able to hear the sound of his voice! Thank you so much for doing this Q&A video! God bless you both and your family!🌹😍🌺🙏

One of the best things I learned to teach the kids as a Montessori was Montessori had every child put away their manipulatives in their proper place before they took out anything else. It had to go back in its place every time or you were not to get out a new manipulative. You seem to do that with your home. So do I. It’s a great habit!😊

Just a couple of tips from me--I stick my kitchen scrubbies in the dishwasher on the top rack in between weekly washings. This keeps them from getting too funky and allows me to just wash them in the laundry once a week. Also, I keep a list of my utilities and other monthly bills with the account numbers and passwords in a file. I can never find an account number when I need it! Then once the payment has cleared my bank account, I shred the bill. This helps me keep paper clutter to a minimum.

Can’t say enough about this Q&A it just made my heart smile. From cleaning 🧼, to marriage to children to everyday life. I’m a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and I also have a young son that struggles with developmental & sensory issues. God is doing great things for my son , but I do find myself being concerned about his future. Thank you for taking out the time and for being so transparent. As my favorite UA-camr I'm late in responding to comments below but I love all these sweet comments and so agree with each one and I don't feel I now can add anything extra other then to say you are a wonderful example of a couple who have worked through the many issues we can and do struggle with as married couples. We bring our ideas and what we want into our marriages and we don't always agree but yet you two do it with such grace. I really enjoyed today's video. You and Patrick are so perfect for one another. You two reminded me of my husband and myself. It's so great when you recognize and accept one another's odd ways such as the sock issue. I had to learn that, also because little silly things could irritate me and the Lord really opened my eyes up to not be petty. Have enjoyed life so much since then. We had a dog for 14 years that was a Doberman that looked so much like Austin. He was solid black, A very good watch dog and very protective of our daughter and his food bowl! I so enjoyed this video! Young women, especially young mothers, are so fortunate to have UA-camrs like you to turn to for advice and help. I am now 70 years old, children are grown with families of their own, and have grandchildren ages 24, 8, and 1. Yep, big age gaps in the grandkids 😂! I so wish I had had resources such as you when raising my girls, so many things I would have done differently. Best advice I heard you give: housework can wait, kids can’t (paraphrased, of course). Wish I had followed that.

I've been watching since I was with child and that child just turned 3. My mother is no longer with me and I was looking for a teacher in how to be a good housekeeper and homemaker as this was to be my new role. Great chat. Yes, enjoy the kids while they are young. I am passive and easygoing. That gets stronger as I age. I'm letting my hair grey naturally. My grey hairs aren't very many yet. It is still mostly dark brown with a reddish highlights. I love my highlights. I haven't dyed my hair. I actually love my grey hairs. They are shiny even when the rest are not. Strangely some curl better than the dark brown ones. My hair is wavy. The top is straight and sticks close to my scalp. The bottom is loose S shapes and wherever it ends is the widest part. My style is simple, minimalist, and Bohemian. Lately my usual outfit is a crop top with a high waisted, long tiered skirt. I prefer fitted tops and loose bottoms. I love how crop tops emphasize my waist. My waist isn't visible in most clothing. My bust is 45 inches and my waist is 32 inches. My hips are 38 inches.

Thank you Robyn and Patrick. I've enjoyed this video. I seldom watch Q & A's but I've been a subscriber forever and always enjoy your channel. It is so very heartwarming to see you as a team and that is very spirit up-lifting for me. I was born into a traditional Irish Catholic family educated in Catholic schools and am still a committed practising Catholic. I do though find the bible difficult to read and understand and would really like to follow your cue and challenge myself to read the bible in a year. Please let me know if there is any way of approaching this or any particular investment in material that would help me do this. Austin is lovely and when you love a dog or any pet he or she becomes a very important member of your family. My brothers and I have a Springer spaniel called Barney and love him very much.....pets are a kind gift of love from God. Sincere congratulations on getting your award from you tube.... Wow, I really needed to hear you talk about loving your little ones and relaxing about the mess! I have three small children (including two year old twins, one whom has a disability) and sometimes I watch your beautiful videos and feel so sad looking around at my hot mess life :P. I get the place lovely and then it's like a tornado passes through in a couple of hours! I will remember your advice next time. I love this style of video too :)

Hi Robin & Patrick. Thank you for sharing so much about your family life. We have so many similarities with our two sons. My eldest has autism so I totally understand everything you mentioned about that. We visited Wengen for our summer holiday this year. Switzerland is such a wonderful country.
