I love the tutorial and it helped me in making some covers :p just asking, I there a way to import your own voicebank into the app? (Example: Utau Voicebank, Vocaloid Voicebank)
unfortunately no. SynthV does not support custom voicebanks, and the developers have given no inclination that they will or would like to add such a feature.
I'm trying to Import Renri, but when I get to the "Select Destination Location" and I select the SynthV file, it just tells me to select the file SynthV is installed. What am I doing wrong?
So, I just downloaded SynthV, and it seems cool, but I've got one major problem right now: It doesn't seem like it's in tune?? Like, the notes don't play the right notes. I've got a melody I made in FL Studio that I'm going to have the vocals follow, and in trying to copy it over, I realized it's totally off. What do I do??
@@TamashiiP Well, good news: All it took was a quick restart! Not really sure what happened, but it's all good now. Great tutorial by the way, made it really to jump right in and start making things 👍

How are you moving the view with the keyboard? I can't figure out how to do that. This looks a little different, but assumedly you can still do it in studio?
You can't use the keyboard to move it in the new Studio program. The shortcut for that is shift and scroll! In the gen 1 program you could use a and d to do that.
Unfortunately no. Synth V can only use it's own voicebank format due to it's unique rendering engine. And sadly there are no ways to make custom voicebanks as of yet. I am hoping that one day they might allow for something like this!

Hey tama, is there a way to do pitch snapping? I tried changing onset coda and nucleus + making pitch transitions as flat as possible and it just sounds like an utau.
Unfortunately that's one side-effect of the old editor. It has a fair amount of engine noise, so it can sound like UTAU at times. I don't usually use pitch-snap style tuning, so I wish you luck in figuring it out! Though, you could try to change the duration of the transitions? Don't lower it all the way though, maybe just to 0.3. The R1 editor doesn't like it when you set those to 0.
hi, i was trying to install eleanor forte but whenever i try to it says to select the cover that synthesizer v is in stalled in. i tried copy pasting the file location but it didn’t make a difference. have i done something wrong? or did i miss a step?
I have already answered this question in a reply to Akira Davis! "You may need to just manually select the folder where the program is installed. Right click the icon of Synth V and click Open File Location. Then copy the folder location and paste it into the installer."
The only parameter that can be changed freehand is the Pitch Deviation. Everything else must be done in the parameter window. If it isn't working for Pitch Deviation, try installing the latest '018' build!

As for MIDI controller, i dont think so. I've never read anywhere that it supports that.
@@TamashiiP oh, why thanks for answering me. And great video BTW, it is very clear :) Yeah I checked and it does not support midi controllers, pity... About the vst I wonder if it is because I am using the basic version, since other people online seem not to have any problem locating the plugin
@@danyleanza I'm not sure if that limits it. I've had my license for version 1 for a while now, and I can't remember if that was impacted.
@@danyleanza I think Vocaloid V supports vst
just a question, how do I even download the english voicebanks for free ?? I've tried going onto the websites where u download them but they don't even load or work.
how do i upload a voicebank im extremely confused
What is the thumbnail from?
Hello! I was wondering if you can use SynthV on Chromebooks. Thank you for this video, by the way! It helps a lot.
I really have no idea on that, you should check out their website!
RedSky Got it, I will! Thank you!!
Make sure you downloaded the LITE version, otherwise it won’t show up on your computer (made the same mistake with Ellie)
how to make the sound play when you add something?
So, I just downloaded SynthV, and it seems cool, but I've got one major problem right now: It doesn't seem like it's in tune?? Like, the notes don't play the right notes. I've got a melody I made in FL Studio that I'm going to have the vocals follow, and in trying to copy it over, I realized it's totally off. What do I do??
im sorry to say that ive never used the MIDI import function, so i actually have no idea what may have gone wrong.
@@TamashiiP Well, good news: All it took was a quick restart! Not really sure what happened, but it's all good now. Great tutorial by the way, made it really to jump right in and start making things 👍
Very useful tutorial to get anyone started! Question: can modulators like TENSION be added using a controller such as a mod wheel in realtime as an “ overdub” or does it need to be drawn in with the mouse?
you dont tell us the shotcuts for the modes eg: freehand overlay (shotcut keys)
thats because i dont use the shortcuts. i click on them every time.
When you create a new note it plays the sound of which key it is in but, whenever I create one I don't hear sound till I play them. Do you know how to change that?
unfortunately i didn't have that issue... perhaps there's something in the options menu?
Hmm I haven't seen anything like that in options or settings? I'll try to do some more research online!
I have the same issue. My best guess is that it was a default option in an older version that he's using and we're using a newer version that for some reason made it non-default.
Hi. how do I use using DAW? it does not seem to have VST. if it does, can you pls tell me where to download the VST? thanks
mine has no voice so i cant play any lyrics i put
I want to buy SynthV Studio Pro but I’m a little wary of going through the purchase process on a Japanese site 😅 would buying the starter pack on AHS be the way to go or what
i really cant say. i purchased my license from AniCUTE, so i have no experience with the AHS store.
@@TamashiiP Gotcha. I went ahead and bought Saki's full bank and I'll buy the pro studio from AniCUTE later if I want to, thanks for the reply and for the tutorials! Im a total beginner at actually using vocal synths as opposed to just listening but now I've almost finished my first ever cover :)
@@TheAnjelHarte that's awesome! i wish you the best of luck with your covers!
@@TamashiiP Okay thanks! Yeah I was using shift and scroll but it's awkward for me so when I saw your keyboard sounds I got excited 😂😂😂
just a quick question, which generation of this? (of course, I'm assuming there's generations to synthv programs lol)
this particular video is for the first gen editor!
@@TamashiiP okay! thanks a bunch!
Is there a way to use V4/V5 voicebanks with Synthesizer V?
Unfortunately no. Synth V can only use it's own voicebank format due to it's unique rendering engine. And sadly there are no ways to make custom voicebanks as of yet. I am hoping that one day they might allow for something like this!
i just got it but i'm really dumb and i have no idea how to get or use voices 😭 so it's just this random ass thing going "eeeeeeeee" no matter what tf i type in
send help
yeah idfk how you use this
hi, i downloaded synth v and the pitch deviation isnt automatically there, could i ask how to get it there? (im on windows)
Under the View tab there will be an option called Add Parameter Panel. click that!
@@TamashiiP thank you!
So new to this so if this question is dumb then I’m sorry but I downloaded the “Synthesizer V studio Basic” and it wasn’t compatible with the version of Eleanor that I downloaded, so I went back and downloaded the Synthesizer V Editor trial and that was compatible. My question is, do you know of a download for Eleanor that is compatible with the Basic Studio? I don’t mind buying the editor but I wanted to try it out for more than a week before buying. If not then that’s alright! Thanks for your time! ^-^
you can download her studio lite version for free! the link to their dropbox is directly below the downloads for Studio basic!
how do u get the voice AI?
I did all of this but when I want to play the music it does nothing ;v; what do l do ?
you need to select a voicebank in order for audio to play!
so when i downloaded it i didnt have any voicebanks to use! do you have to pay to get them or am i missing something?
GENBU, Eleanor Forte, and Yamine Renri are all available for free download on the same page! Sometimes you have to refresh it to get it to load properly!
@@TamashiiP oh, thanks!
is this for the basic version?
when i create a wav file the audio stay's really bad
Are you using a low sample rate? the higher the sample rate, the better your file will turn out!
@@TamashiiP i will send a link with the video
@@TamashiiP ua-cam.com/video/SropxQ_QnhM/v-deo.html
@@OlizeP Your volume levels are turned up too high! That buzzing sound is something called audio clipping, and its what happens when the waveform maxes out.
@@TamashiiP oh, thank you
Thank you for this!!
Some things I either don’t understand or you didn’t explain to clearly I can trial and error LOL (like how to do freehand overlap, I don’t know how to tell how what thing sounds like.. ;-;)
How do you delete notes?
@@TamashiiP yes, i found it some time later and got it to work! thank you!
I'm using SynthV 1.0.6 but I can't change the parameter to freehand overlay. Is it a feature that was removed?
The only parameter that can be changed freehand is the Pitch Deviation. Everything else must be done in the parameter window.
If it isn't working for Pitch Deviation, try installing the latest '018' build!
How do you input the voices??? I dunno how to put them in the software so I can't do anything- Help-
Edit: I figured out how.
how-
What voicebank is this
how do you export into audio file?
Project > Render to File
how do add glottal effects panel?
its an option under the Window tab
How do you download the voicebanks? I spent a long time trying to figure out how...
And do you already need to have a voicebank to add the lyrics?
there are several comments with answers to this question already! please take a minute to look through them.
