DC Fire and EMS - Recruit Class 405 Graduation - Friday, December 15, 2023

The Oath of Office to become one of #DCsBravest is a solemn one with true commitment to serve the residents and guests of the District of Columbia.
On Friday, December 15, 2023, 35 new Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technicians and Firefighter/Paramedics were sworn in and are ready to serve.
A bit of information on our 35 new probationary Firefighter/EMTs and Paramedics..
*14 are DC Residents
*Age ranges from 21-45 years of age
*14 have obtained college/university degrees
*6 are veterans of US Armed Forces
