Hi Daniel, mad rig mate, I've been set up very similarly to you, 2010 ranger, been so busy last few years that I haven't been out in a long time, now due to this crazy plandemic in Sydney, we are screwed, if we ever get to go out again, im hitting the bush asap😛 Thanks for the great vid.
Noice 👌 that’s the best way may, keep it simple and keep it reliable. Spend more money on the necessary stuff and less on the unnecessary 😉👍 great clip buddy
Nice one mate I have exact car in red colour. Do u have diff drop on it? If no any issue with cv shoft angle? I rund 285/75/16 with 2" lift no rubbing but huge angle on cv's
Great video. I have the exact same 3.0 TDCI 4X4 Supercab that I'm kitting out for overlanding. Would you be able to send me a blueprint of your canopy?
Hey mate. Regarding the uhf, I reckon the handset needs replacing. Have experienced similar issues before and new handset fixed it. Not expensive either.
Noo such thing as being finished thats exacually correct bro haha i just ordered a steel tray for me np300 dualcab nav cost me $10k all up canopy to come later as i want to set it up for camping and hunting Also mate give the expora led lazer driving lights 9" from autobarn a go i have a set and love them $150 well worth it 😃😃
Thanks mate! No lockers at this stage, although a front locker has certainly been on my mind to help the off-road performance and reduce the risk of blowing a CV haha. 2.7t with the canopy on and fully loaded for a trip 👍
If your looking to upgrade your uhf, id go gme xrs 370c the features in them are more of a game changer then a 79 bulid 🤣 the radio can get as loud as they are aswell ahahahah
@@explorebound yeah i had a play around with a mates one, after watching all the videos i could find on the gme YT channel, plus had gme for ever, my old mini tx3100 is 6ish years old still going
I have a similar vehicle, 2010 ranger wildtrak, which is unfortunately only a 2wd. Been setting it up to have camping trips. Recently had a bedrack fabricated with a soft top cover, 4" lift with 33" tires. Not having a 4x4, I was wondering if it would be worth it to have a rear locker for a 2wd (or if that's even possible).
Hi Cha, a rear locker is definitely possible and would improve offroad capability somewhat, and you could drop your tyres down significantly on the beach (10psi), which would assist with your offroad performance, however I imagine you'll still have a tough time with a few 4wd obsacles that those with 4wd would cruise through quite easily unfortunately!
@@explorebound I think I wouldn't want to push the truck to it's limits. I don't imagine that I'd be doing any rock crawling or steep climbs. I'll probably get the locker if I find that I'm having a hard time going through mud/sand. Thank you for confirming that I can have a rear locker installed
It did lift it a bit, I think they quote it as a 2” lift but I reckon I got less than 2 on the front, but way more than 2 on the rear due to the factory springs struggling with the canopy weight
Hi Ethan, I'd say close to $30k all up including vehicle and absolutely everything. I actually did a full run-through of the canopy and fitout pricing if you're intested: ua-cam.com/video/JTV9oSgieAo/v-deo.html
just brought same model 270km had new head injectors timing chain done $6000 worth new tyres aloy tool boxes under tray ladder storage duel battery worn winch paid $8500 a bargin
Hi Matthew, mine's been perfect in the time I've owned it. I'm in quite a few PJ-PK Ranger forums/groups and I very occasioanlly hear people experiecing trouble with the autos but never the manuals. Cheers.
oh man your old pajero looked sooo sweet
The “behind the scene” bit was funny mate … The rig looks damn good … Cheers
Nice one love the pose waiting for Bianca to open the bonnet 🤣
Good honest channel. 🤙
Good work guys. Great to see your subs climb too.

Man that Pajero looked sick
I poured hundreds of hours into the old Pajero, it was a really tough decision to sell it!

Where can o get stronger tie rods?
Excellent video, btw what camera do you use for your filming?
Thanks Ryan! I'm currently using a Sony A6400 with Sigma 16mm lens

Thanks for the tip mate, I’ll swap the hand piece over sometime and see how it goes 🙂

Great vid mate keep em up what clutch do you have in your car ?
Still running the factory clutch 🙂
No lockers? Nice rig for the money. Good gains in powering the tune. Whats she weigh with the canopy on?

How did you mount your Kicker Sub? Did you just drill through to the chassis or leave it free-standing?
Hi Aaron, I screwed it through the floor with two small screws (on opposing corners)
the best ranger,,, im using PK series

Is your suspension just upgraded for weight but still factory height? That’s what I currently have and wasn’t sure how I’d go putting 32’s on my PJ

This is my car. My set up basically. Just better tray. Egr block and airbag back added too
Hey mate are the under tray tool boxes waterproof?
Hi mate, they have seals around the edge which help but I wouldn’t say they’re fully watertight
@@explorebound Thanks mate
Which kings awning is that?
It's their 2.5 x 2.5m model
Do you get any scrubbing with your 32's?
Yeah a little bit, but only when going over large bumps on full lock 🙂
@@explorebound awesome to know I'm not the only one.
