Vivid sketches in a short time. Awesome. Next time please try to visit South India. Many heritage sites and natural beauty waiting for you paint. Good climate from September to February.
Hiya Allan, Wow, what a great video and tour, I would love to be able to do something like that. I'm looking forward to seeing you're Indian art haul. Thanks very much , David.
You are certainly blessed to travel and your drawing and painting skills are excellent, thanks for sharing your trips as I will never be able to go and frankly couldn't handle those long train rides and the crowds.😀
Thank you Elf Lords. 🙏 while i consider India as one of the most colorful experiences I've had, i can certainly agree that it's at the same time, not for everyone. It's a land of the extrmes and will require much of one's energy to be really enjoyed. But if you could, you could just focus on one city to chill. 😎 🙏 🎨
Hi Gina. Thank you. I was there for some watercolor projects.. but I'm told as per contract not to give details yet till done. But will show the project here soon when done. You should travel soon.. 😊
Thank you for virtually taking us along! I love to see your paintings from the trip. As someone who is also from a hot and humid climate, I find that I have a hard time judging how hot it is in a dry climate. Without that humidity, it just feels very warm to me, so I don't take the necessary precautions and have sometimes felt the negative effects. I hope that was not the case for you!
Thanks too, Rita. At 49deg, It was really hot. And as someone used to high humidity, when it's hot, we sweat alot. But there in Delhi where humidy goes as low as 15, you wouldn't sweat but you feel the heat inside. You have to drink plenty of water still. It was so dry that my jeans that i washed from the shower room dries in my hotel room in just 6hrs or overnight. That's how dry it was.
Thank you so very much Allan for showing us all these wonderful places with the gorgeous architecture. The food looks great too! Your sketches are beautiful 😍
Thank you annette. I'm always excited to share my happy experiences with all of you. Their landmarks are really well kept and im thankful. Their food are all flavorful and hot. 😄
Wow!! What an adventure! I am so happy for you being able to mark this off your bucket list and for sharing your journey with us. You packed in quite a few beautiful architectural landmarks visits and your paintings were absoultely superb.😍 You make an exceptional tour guide too. ✨️ TFS. 😃
Hi Tracy. Thank you so much. I consider the tour a gift that made me really happy so I'm echoing the joy. It's my pleasure to share it with you. And yeah, id love to be an art tour guide someday. ✨️
Thank you too. It was a blast.. if only i could share everything haha. It would not fit even in an hour of video. India is a country of extrmes so you need to be ready for the fun and the yet to be experienced. 😊
Yes yes. Kaka bilib din kasi kahit maraming tao ron, namemaintain talaga nila ung structures. May budget silang nakalaan kasi mataas ung regards nila sa mga yon. 🙏
Yay !! Thanks for sharing the video allan 😄✌🏼it was the most awaited video for me on your channel. It seems like you enjoyed your tour to India ❤️ and I really like the starting music you put in the video and your autorickshaw journey in delhi 😂 I hope you really enjoyed the Indian food, crowd, culture , historical monuments and your sketches are marvelous ❤️❤️
Hahaha. Ikr Ankur. Thank you. 😄 i definitely had a blast in India and I really cant wait to be back. But I think I'm going back next yr to Delhi. Alot of things are new to me, that i almost had culture shock, but also alot of things are similar in my country so, it balances the excitement and adventure of the unknown. Thank you. 🙏 😊
Hi Allan. That was a fantastic video and your sketches look very realistic. I'm impressed that you had the courage to sketch outside in that heat. But I guess you are used to the heat either way. And here is a tip. Cut off the background music please and let the birds do the job. You can't imagine how much I enjoy all that bird singing on your videos. It is the most unique thing sound background ever. Don't spoil it with music. Nobody else has birds singing like crazy in his videos!!
Thank you. 🙏 sorry to disappoint, but none of these paintings were done on location as I was restricted both by time and temple rules. But yes, i don't mind the heat and given the chance I'd definitely do it. 😉 i also love the birds but since it's rainy (during the painting sessions) they're not available to cheer. On my arthaul table, when i show my items, the birds are surely back. 😊
@@AllanJayQuesada The birds should be back without music. They don't need music. What kind of birds are these btw ?! Yes it is a bit hard core to sketch on location in such temperatures and it is for your advantage if you don't mind about the heat. I can't, particularly during the summer months as Greece has similarly very hot and dry summers. I have never been at a place that has very hot and wet climate so I can't tell if I would have been able to sketch in such conditions. I assume though that watercolours will take ages to dry in such a hot and wet climate.
Hi Allan, may I know if you were able to sketch much on site or mostly after that? I'll be going to India soon and rather concerned that there will be tons of people and hustle about and difficult to sketch much outside.
Hii. As early as now, I'm excited for you. 😊 i was in India in May to June 2022 for work, and so i had to pack my time. As much as I wanted to sketch in every place, it was just not possible for me as I had list of to dos and to visits. And also, it was sooo hot. It hit 49degrees Celsius that time. It was not just possible for me. There were really also many people, and I was expecting it. If you are to sketch in public places, you may expect some curious guys or children flocking you. I was safe the entire 3 weeks in India, but It is always best to take extra care. 😊 and btw, all of my India sketches were done in my hotel. 😊
@@AllanJayQuesada Thank you for your reply. I also thought of those factors like heat and gawking audience. Haha I will stay alert and vigilant. Cheers.
