I have had. Grew up with a 73 f100, 72 Gran Torino, and a 1980 1 ton Chevy Van. Oh, and a 32 buick hearse LoL.
That being said, I prefer the power feel of an injected motor. It's just smoother, and injected motor s are more powerful and efficient.

No ls swap for my oldschool. Love the ls but sticking with carburetor power on my 355. Change and elevation is cool and all but big rims and ls everything aint for me. In my world sbc creates havoc😂😂😂😂 and you know this man🤛🏾😎

I currently have a Carbureted Vortec 5.7 in my 82 Camaro but getting ready to put my new engine in. It has a midrise intake, Demon 750 carburetor with ceramic fuel bowls, stainless steel headers, full 3inch into Magnaflow and MSD 6al ignition system. Definitely took some learning on carb 😂 nothing like a backfire out the carb to scare the life out you
Learned to wrench as a kid on carbureted cars and trucks. Then after going to MMI, worked in a ton of sport bikes, cruisers and power sports vehicles with carbs that constantly needed cleaned and tuned. Most end up jetted.

Well, on my 95 gmc c1500 shortbed. I purchased me a 350 sb turnkey crate engine. I had me a 700r with the overdrive built with a few goodies and debating if I'm going to put my efi fuel injection on. My truck will be stocked with a lil pep. We are going frame off rebuilding from the bottom up. I like original builds, not overkill, and I like white boy resale value. Of course, we are going with 26 forgiatos.
I've worked on all sorts of engines. car engines, boat/marine mercruiser 5.0's as well as all of the smaller displacements and bigger displacements too. I've worked on a Chevy 250 Marine motor ( 165 Horsepower ) from a 1974 Glastron v184 Runabout 18". I've worked on 3 cylinder marine engines, Volvo Penta yacht motors, lawn mowers, quads and ATV's. I've worked with carbureted and fuel injected motors. single barrel carbs to 4 barrel carbs.

My dad had this old V8 International Scout. I helped him many times with the carb and timing. I mostly just remember the timing tho lol.

Listen!!! 13B, 12A or 10A (if you can scrounge one together) with Weber 51mm carbs, a long tube intake and big mouth velocity stacks?! Brov! Straight carnage no matter how you put it! EFI has its place, but carbs turn almost any car into a two stroke as far as power output. 💪🏾😎

I might be Carbing my L8T 6.6 liter gen V motor for a while until I am ready to deal with Direct injection. &2 Blazer K5 is the vessel.
