I've been playing since the beginning, my only problem was really how expensive everything was, and how getting tickets took a long time (I've always been F2P because Nintendo likes to make everything in my country super expensive), just after 6 days of playing the Complete version I got my dream items and clothes, I miss interacting with my friends, but I'm more satisfied now than in 7 years of playing, and I really liked the new friend cards! a much better choice than simply deleting the entire friendship system
This is accurate to my experience too! It was so hard to even get like 1 item I really liked in the free version, but I'm now slowly getting all of the cool items I love and the grind actually feels rewarding! Having pretty stuff is no longer only for the rich!
@@LycoriChan FR!!! I would get paranoid saving tickets for a moment when an item/clothing would really catch my attention, sometimes I would even get sad because after spending on something, something prettier or my type would come next and I couldn't buy it lmaooo I'm still saving the tokens out of habit, but I'm slowly getting used to the fact that I can really spend it on anything without worrying later
I felt the same and agree with your sentiments about the game.. I played the new pocket camp this morning and I really miss the other players.. I was really hoping they would be at the camp grounds even though we couldn’t interact..
I'm playing the new version, too, and miss seeing the other players when visiting the different areas in the game. However, you can see all the friends that you had (and were still active within the last month of the shut down) at the new area, Whistle Pass, and can interact with them. They will allow you to go to the Quarry and sometimes give you presents. K.K. Slider will also perform from 7:00 pm till about midnight each night.
I too didn't play much of the live version. The F2P aspect didn't appeal much to me personally. However, I've been playing Complete non-stop since it dropped a day early. I think they could've put more effort into eradicating the F2P aspects (like, why can I only convert bells into leaf tokens a few times every MONTH, or why does it take ages to craft some items while others can be crafted in a minute?), but all in all I'm finding this to be rather enjoyable. I often get the itch to play more New Leaf but after 1k hours across two towns, I have a hard time finding stuff to do (even though I'm not necessarily done working on my second town). Pocket Camp Complete is scratching that itch well enough, especially because as you put it, it's the ideal Animal Crossing for anyone with a full-time job.
You might've already figured it out by now, but for the unaware, you can permanently lower crafting time up to 24 hours with the new leaf tokens. Aside from amenities, crafting times are basically a non-issue now
Omg I think I accidentally became friends with you in the game??!!And have never seen your channel before? I did the same thing, reinstalled in preparation for the complete version and did a mad dash to collect as much as possible of what would transfer over.
