I would care if she wasn’t in my opinion one of the worst BB players ever. Maybe in terms of character she’s not the worst but I would argue she’s just like Raven from BB19, arrogant, entitled, delusional, and beyond obnoxious. I could definitely say players like Janelle and Dani were guilty of being that way too, but they at least could back up their smack talk, whereas Victoria didn’t play a good game, she was just viewed as a non-threat to where no one felt compelled to target her!
The fact that Vanessa nominated 10 out of the 14 possible houseguests she could nominate considering she couldn’t nominate herself and the first 2 were gone by the time she won HOH is so wild to me
Derrick's run on not being nominated is even more insane knowing that there was a week where they did a renom by pulling skittles and he didn't get picked.
Dude I still get chills when I think about Derrick the fact he didn’t win is a criminal offense. His game was awesome and I consider him the best to never win.
So, after Vanessa backdoored Jason in her second HOH, she was getting so much blood on her hands that her best strategy was to essentially present herself to the houseguests as a "wild card" who was loyal to no one. Or more specifically, a mercenary for-hire each week. Brilliant.
in a way, Kaysar being evicted four times pre-jury is actually says something good; it is very rare someone who played twice and never made jury is still popular enough to return a third time
One stat I find interesting is the fact that Drew in BB5 played in EVERY single veto competition, due to how picking players worked. It can technically be tied if someone’s super lucky, but not broken!
That's a super good one that I forgot about, it's DEFINITELY an unbreakable record (obviously) but to even tie that record would require an unbelievable amount of luck. Kinda bumming I forgot about this record because it would have fit perfectly for this video!
Arguably it could, as there are more players now so more veto competitions. Although even then seems unlikely anyone will be randomly picked that many times.
Good one! Yeah, the opposite of the not play until 6 one... They'd have to win, be initially nominated, or drawn/picked every single week. Obviously hard to replicate since the format was different but I'd guess Rachel Reilley could have that record for the modern veto format.
Lol just taking a second look at Vanessa's nomination history, not only did one of her nominees get vetoed during each of her HoH reigns, but she's the only one to play a true backdoor on someone she literally saved with a PoV the prior week (Jason). The amount of blood she should have been getting on her hands is unreal but she still had a 2/3 chance of making it to final2. What an amazing player.
It's definitely possible, unlikely but if someone wins enough they simply can't ever get a chance to vote them out they definitely could beat her record. Also not out of the question some kind of 2 veto comps a week twist could be instated at some point. Can't see it happening for a long time, even if Michael comes back honestly I don't think he will duplicate his veto/HOH wins, but given enough time someone probably will pull it off.

I can’t be convinced that Eric’s name was in the bag for the veto draw in BB8. It can’t be a coincidence that the player to be eligible for the most times without ever having their name pulled is also the only player in BB history to have production arbitrarily decide they can’t use the veto after they won it.

That's what I have deduced. Everyone's conspiracy theory was that Production wanted Dick to stay (which is probably true), but I think they had no plan for if Eric ever won Veto. I guess there was not enough time for the public to vote on what he should do. Eric got a raw deal being America's Player.
Agree, not that there is any way to prove it one way or another after all this time, but I am skeptical his chip was actually in the bag all those times. I do seem to remember them dumping them out on the feeds once and conforming everyones chip was in the bag in season 8, but that was pretty late in.
@@LoveableNiki Even if it wasn't about Dick, Eric winning Veto was tricky since it was the one thing he could do they didn't have a window for America to vote on. So I think BB was worried about the semantics of it and decided it was easier for him not to. To be fair I do remember on the feeds them checking the bag once and all the names being in it, but that was I believe pretty far into the game so doesn't prove it was always in there.
Oh yes there is a high chance Vanessa could come back, especially if this next season will be a newbies vs vets season. Her twins are a bit older compared to when they asked her back for all stars. Plus I’m sure she wants redemption too which I’m sure she could probably do.

I think the potential to get yourself into too much trouble and hurt your career would be too big for an active lawyer. I mean Joseph and Shelby from Over The Top did finish law school, but they hadn't started practicing yet, so technically had nothing to lose. If you are established in a career like that I would think the risks would not be worth the reward. Especially for Vanessa who likely doesn't need the money.

But she wasn't a lawyer that time. I can see her playing even though she didn't need the money the first time when she was a professional poker player so the risk to her career was minimal. I don't see her playing a second time if she is a lawyer and thus could lose her job to backlash from something that happened on the season. I can't imagine it being worth the risk to play a second time unless she really needed the money and as we have established she never has.
Let's go ahead and add Jag to this list. It won't be possible, probably ever again, to win 5 competitions in a row anymore since the Invisible HOH twist was likely a 1 time thing.
BB25 has 2 unbreakable records so far: 1) Only having 1 player in the house who has won ANY competitions (Hisam for the time after Reilly was evicted to Felicia winning HOH) 2) Having the most previously evicted houseguests in the house at once for at least a week (Cameron and Jared as Zombies, and Jag) Yes, I got a little creative, but it’s all facts! 😂
Kaysar was one of my all time favorite players. Hated how he didnt even have a chance in the recent all star season cause the younger players were so intimidated by him
One of my favourite random stats about Big Brother is that in the second all star season, the final three consisted of someone who had previously won, someone who had previously placed second, and someone who had previously placed third. I also like that the final four of season 11 consisted of someone from each clique. I was disappointed season 23 didn't end up with one form each of the original teams in final four.
Honestly, as much as I would love to make it to the jury phase if I competed on BB, I would be happy being someone like Kaysar knowing that 1. He is arguably the most remembered player to have never made the jury, 2. He is held in pretty high regard by fans, especially with how amazing his character has been shown to be since he was first on BB, and 3. His relevance has only increased in light of the recent conversations that started regarding how POC players have been treated within the house. Honestly seeing him and Joseph meeting for the first time last year as two beloved Muslim BB players warmed my heart on several levels!

Big Brother 9 also holds the record for the most houseguest who didn’t cast a vote to evict. Jacob, who was evicted by Jen and Parker. Neil who walked. And Alex and Amanda who were Co-HOHs in Week 1 and were evicted in Week 2.
I know Janelle has said she’d never play a full season again, but I think if you offered her a spot and told her she had the chance to break Franzel’s record she might just agree.
If her Twitter is any indication being able to brag on Twitter she beat Franzel's record.... over and over and over again.... might be the right amount of motivation. Although even if she came back, I am skeptical she would last long enough. It was clear the last 2 times she played the Janelle of old is gone. The way comps are now I don't see her going on the same kind of comp win streak she did before, especially as they are so physical and she would almost surely be competing against players notably younger than her in them at this point. And she just draws too much heat from people for me to see her staying without a lot of comp wins. People don't like when I point it out but she played a season of all newbies, 2 All-Star seasons over a decade apart, and a mixed season. And the one thing that happened every time is she managed to rub multiple people the wrong way so badly that they became hyper focused on getting her out solely so they didn't have to deal with her anymore. People want to say "they just jelly" but it happened 4 damn times. There is no way she would not piss off multiple people and become the #1 target if she played again because that is just who she is, and without being able to go on a winning streak she will go home pre-jurt if she plays a fifth time I have almost no doubt.
@@dantheman8103all stars 2 had nothing to do with rubbing people the wrong way. It had all to do with being placed with Kaysar in the same season and eyes were dead locked from day one. She really stood no chance. Episode 1, Cody literally said “I have my eyes on Kaysar”
here is another record I consider unlikely to be broken (though not a pleasant record): of all expelled players, Chima made it furthest into the game. Unlikely to be broken because if a player has behavioural issues likely to get them removed from the game, it usually manifests in the first few weeks
BotB is a huge record creator because it was easier to - win HOH - win HOH two weeks in a row - nominate pawns - get on the block - survive the block - have extra comp wins Vanessa’s nomination record seems really only possible in something like this and Victoria’s nomination record is also hugely impacted by this. Somehow, Derrick instead managed to avoid the block with all the extra noms, though he benefited from more hoh’s to get safety and the very team-based strategy in the season due to BOTB
Yeah BOTB kinda ruined the season though as far as it being pretty boring and predictable due to BOTB helping the mega alliance dominate. Honestly one could do an entire video on how badly this season has aged, between the misogyny, the mostly lack of good gameplay, and Derrick and Cody turning out to be pretty awful people. Even taking out the talk about Derrick repeatedly cheating on his wife, the fact that those two both gave the cookout a platform and then used their platform to minimize Kyle’s behavior last year was so reprehensible…..
Yeah, I've considered how to compare scores from it vs other seasons. It's tricky for sure. Esp once they started nominating certain people to ensure the other team would go up.

Another note about Vanessa’s Most Unique Nominations - she was on the season with the largest cast at 17, with a new addition (technically) at F11. So if the cast gets bigger… maybe it’s beatable?
Here is another unbreakable record, youngest houseguest ever to play the game. Michelle Maradie entered the house at the age of 19. Back then, people that young where allowed to apply, since then the age requirement has been raised to 21. Ian Terry holds the record for youngest winner, he was only 21 when he won. At least Ian's record could be tied, another 21 year old could win. Michelle record for youngest houseguest to play cannot even be tied on account of the age requirement.
Cirie has broken Eric’s veto record! I think Cameron has likely set some sort of record for amount of comps played… and Jared HAS to have the record of default comp wins :P
Vanessa has a rather crazy stat where she nominated every single male player that season with the exception of Jase, who was evicted week 1 before her first HOH. Another one that I could see never being broken is Cody BB19, a single HOH nominating 5 different players in one week. This took one of his original noms quitting and being replaced by another, then the veto being used and him nominating a player with a special power who couldn't stay nominated, and then nominating another player to replace that. A normal HOH can only nominate up to 3 players in one week. Also, someone winning despite never winning a single competition (Will BB2) is unlikely to ever happen again. We came really close to it in BB Canada 6 where Paras had 0 comp wins until F4 and won the last 2 HOHs. It's highly unlikely we'll ever see someone make it all the way through the game without winning a comp and get the jury votes to win. especially those last few rounds of the game.
So, would you now consider Eric’s veto record broken by Cirie. While Cirie first played in the F9, compared to Eric’s F7, She had more consecutive vetoes not played in. She didn’t play in the first 9 vetoes while Eric didn’t play in the first 7 vetoes.
Keep this in mind. When Eric set the record for the most times not playing in a Veto Competition until there were seven houseguests remaining, his season began with 14 houseguests. Recent seasons have began with 16 houseguests (or 17 in the cases of Seasons 17 and 19). For his record to be broken a houseguest would have to sit out of eight consecutive Veto Competitions from Week One until there are eight houseguests remaining, which would tie Nicole Anthony's record set in Season 21. Meaning that particular houseguest cannot ever win HOH or be nominated Pre-Veto. To break Nicole Anthony's record of sitting out of eight straight Veto Competitions, a houseguest would have to sit out the first nine POV Competitions until there are seven houseguests remaining. However, if there is a split house at the final ten like there was in Season 24, this would not be possible.
I'm not sure if this counts but I thought about it as soon as it had happened during bb23: Tiffany technically holds the record for most consecutive HOH reigns because of a twist. In Week 8 she won HOH but was overthrown by Claire's secret HOH. Tiffany basically had all the perks of HOH (safety, the room), but she just could not nominate anyone because Claire had power over nominations. Since she did not have real power that week, she was eligible to play in the next HOH. She then won the HOH in Week 9 and had a regular HOH reign with power over nominations. Again I'm not sure if this really is a record when you think of the Battle of the Block twist in seasons 16 and 17 but I still thought I would bring it up. (also because with BOB the second HOH was completely dethroned while Tiffany just did not have power over nominations)
It is very possible (but unlikely) to make it to final two without ever casting a vote. You have to either be HOH or survive the block every week. I'm not sure if anyone has done it, I think some have come close.
I can't see anyone doing that but I kind of hope someone does, assuming they won HOH multiple times and didn't just survive the block every week because they were THAT big of a non-threat coaster type, would be beyond bad ass.
Frank had a rather crazy run in BB14 where I think he was either HOH or a nominee every single week until his eviction. He may have cast a vote or two though as I think he was an original nom who won veto at least once, maybe twice...
The mad hatter Vanessa is an amazing strategist, a beast at competitions an all around great player to watch. I’d love to see her come back to get her redemption! Throw Vanessa and Derrick in a season together I guarantee Vanessa strikes first and takes him out.
I am not debating Vanessa is a good player, she is. I do think she got lucky the week Becky was HOH despite the editors and some of her fans attempt to claim otherwise. But doesn't change how much she did the rest of the time (all winners have to some extent been lucky so doesn't make her a bad player that she caught a break one week she seemed certain to go). But a lot of why Vanessa lasted is she was in a house full of passive people who let her whine and shove her way because it was easier than dealing with not letting her have her way and having to endure Hurrican Vanessa in a relatively small space you can't leave. I don't think every cast would put up with her crap (even that season it almost caught up with her), and I definitely don't think Derrick would do that. Honestly, and again, Vanessa is far from a bad player I think if she came back on she would likely lose some of her mystique because I don't think she would nessecarily dominate again the same way she did the first time. She is no Dan Geesling IMHO (Although I am not a Dan fan so that isn't really an insult).

Whether or not you're a fan of Victor, seeing him return 2 times was amazing! That was a fantastic season! Paul winning the season would have made it even better.
I think that some of the twists from BB18 were really annoying. Having multiple "battle-back" competitions clearly favors strong competitors and punishes the players who try to remove strong players from from the game. It's no wonder Meech was so bitter. Her Co-HOH with Natalie was pointless. They took a shot at Paul and Victor, and they were punished by Victor immediately returning. Paulie was also close to returning to the game. That season pretty much confirmed that the safe "mob-mentality" gameplay introduced in BB16 is the best way to get around twists in the game.
Victor only returned twice. Returning 3 times would imply he would’ve been voted out 4 times in a season. And I really don’t think it was amazing, because each time it was like a 1 in 5 chance of winning, which isn’t that impressive or competitive
@StaceyNainLab Right? The first time he one, I was thinking good for him. The second time he was in that position, I was cheering for him to win it again, thinking there's no chance he can repeat, and he does? Very exciting moment.
In BB18 it actually would be possible for someone to be evicted 4 times. Had Victor been evicted during the "Roundtrip ticket" phase of the game with the ticket that actually was the roundtrip ticket (which I think Paul ended up having), he could have been evicted 4 times. I managed to get someone evicted 4 times in a bb18 brantsteele simulation a few years ago, good times.
I'm not sure if they would have still done the second battle back if someone had returned via the round trip ticket. but if they did, it would be the first time they allowed three chances for a player to return in the same season.
There’s another record I think would be interesting. The longest a player ever went without ever casting their FIRST eviction vote. Frank from BB14 is the answer correct? That means a player would have to lose HOH and be nominated every week to even tie the record or would have to be HOH every other week and be on the eviction chair every week ineligible for HOH or somehow got their vote taken away due to penalty here or there. Not only that, but they’d have to survive the eviction chair too. Given Frank was given that freebee reset week as well, the likelihood of anyone ever breaking that record is slim to none. He didn’t vote for Jodi, Willie, Jojo, Janelle, Or Wil. The first time he voted was like week 6 during the week Boogie and Jenn were on the block, adding in the reset week. That’s absolutely insane!
That was one of the first records I put down for this list, but I kept it off solely because I do think it's possible for a perpetual pawn to manage to beat it. Do I think it's likely? Definitely not, and it definitely could have been in this video, but I just chose not to include it
@@Ethanimale that is a good point. A perpetual pawn could in theory beat it. All it takes is a player to sit on the block the first 6 rounds to tie it. I know counting reset weeks is tough for some fans, but they essentially redid the fourth eviction so it counts. What makes it unlikely is that he lasted the entire pre-jury without casting a vote until Boogie’s eviction. That’s just insane and unlikely to happen statistically. But BB14 was ripe for that stuff to happen.
If anyone who currently has a record that involves length of time (such as days in the house) came back again, they would beat their own record. Same record holder, but technically many of these records are quite beatable :)
Not sure Eric doesn't have production to thank for it. I am really questioning that his chip was actually in there. Arguably the BB14 record about players not casting a vote could be broken again also, if multiple people quit or are expelled in oen week and/or someeone is a day on boot without a vote being cast for them. Although it would take a whole hell of a lot, BB tries to not let players quit and short of Meghan they have talked everyone who wanted to out of it (Arguably Dick although by all acounts he was not given a choice, and we don't know what happened to Neil) maybe Paloma but even if she technically asked to leave no way BB was keeping her in much longer given how bad she had gotten. So it would take some big event for 2 or 3 people to quick week 1 or 2 or 3 to be thrown out of the game before they could vote. But technically if a fist fight were to break out week 1 or the like it COULD happen. I also think assuming Paul couldn't play again and once more lose in the final 2 might be generous. Hell he were to play and make final 2 again, 50/50 chance the jury would vote him to lose just to be part of keeping the meme alive.
Paul will always lose because he/they have no jury management skills. I went back and rewatched the jury question segments from bb18 and bb19 and he was horrendous both times. Never wanted to take credit for his moves and very defensive when asked about gameplay vs social game
I know some people wouldn't want this because they want "their chance" to play big brother...but I would love to see them take the route of the challenge and bring back 8-10 vets every year..then have the rest be new people. You would have people not be able to use the same tactics and there would be more natural drama
I think it has officially been listed as 8 hours. Still an insanely short amount of time and probably won't be broken. Obviously that is mostly up to Big Brother. They could pull a "you all just met... now the HOH HAS TO evict someone, right now this second) 2 hours into the game. But given we have not even had a day 1 boot in years it seems unlikely they will ever force anyone out of the house as fast as Jodi was. I guess in theory someone could still spend less time, if they got evicted for bad behavior or quit the show in less than 8 hours. But it would be hard to get yourself in that much trouble that quickly, and if someone said they wanted to quit day 1 even if they eventually did BB would probably spend hours in the DR trying to talk them out of it which would likely get them past the 8 hour mark (and would still not mean they were "voted" out), so not as impossible as some on this vide, but insanely unlikely. If someone ever does beat Jodi's record BB ran out of ideas and forced a vote in one hour or the like, or someone who DEFINITELY should not have been cast crashed and burned in record time.
I'd be interested in seeing stats about the number of diary sessions per episode & per season (esp compared to how they placed or closeness to when they got evicted.) You see it a lot in survivor, but as a prediction tool. Since BB is edited before each eviction, I think it would be interesting to see how it compares. ❤ Also, is there a dataset/ data base that you use for this? I know there exists some charts that show how many confessionals each player had from each season up until at least BB21 I think, but I'm not sure where to find them. As for what I use to make these videos, it's pretty much all straight from the noggin. There do exist many tools, graphs, and numbers out there if you search it up either on the wikis or on Reddit, but most of the information that I come up with is done through deducing it on my own and then trying to find any patterns or outliers that I would use for videos (like this one) Glad you enjoyed the video!
Speaking of nominating the most unique houseguests nominated in a season, the most unique hosueguests nominated in a single HOH reign is 6 and is held by the duo of Joshuah and Sharon in week 3 of BB9 during the duos portion of the game, as they originally nominated 2 duos (4 houseguests) and had to name a duo as a replacement (2 more houseguests). 5 houseguests has happened twice, with Cody in BB19 due to a quit, the pendant of protection, and the veto; and with Michael in BB24 due to the festie-bestie twist where he nominated a group of 3 originally and replaced them with a group of 2. The only time this record could've been tied is if Michael nominated the group of Alyssa, Indy and Taylor as the replacement, but as we all know, that was never going to happen lol. Beating the record would require someone to nominate 7 houseguests which I just simply can't see happening even with twists that would shake up the game
I made another comment about Cody having the record for most nominees by a single HOH in a week, I had forgotten about season 9. One HOH nominating 7 people in a week is unlikely, I don't think production will ever make it possible via twists but I can see it happening if someone leaves unexpectedly, as happened with Cody's HOH. someone happening to be HOH two weeks that include a combination of twists and unexpected departures is the easiest way I can see Vanessa's record of nominating ten people in a. season being beaten.

I can't imagine most people voting even remembered him, and considering he was not fan favorite when he played it felt like he was there to fill a slot someone more likely to come in likely turned down. One way Vanessa's record of most players nominated could be more easily beaten would be if they changed the format so that the HOH nominates three people per week. Then you would only need to be HOH 3 times and have the veto used in two of those. Still nominating that many people without becoming a huge target would not be easy. Most people would nominate the same people again and again to avoid "blood on their hands" Another way to beat it would be in a season where multiple people quit, get medivacced, or get expelled during weeks when you are HOH and multiple vetoes or other twists during some weeks. Like when Cody in season 19 had to nominate 5 people the same week due to the pendant of protection twist and Megan quitting. That is another interesting record in and of itself: most people nominated by a single HOH in a single week
This may be a tough subject to find candidates for, but what about the most fragile BB records? Like... ones that are surprisingly mediocre and you’re shocked haven’t been broken already. For another unbreakable record, what about Taylor for most money made on Big Brother, especially for a single season? She won and got AFP, which would normally put her at 525k, just shy of Dan’s 560k and Cody’s 550k, but she did this after the prize values changed, boosting her to 800k To be broken in one season, either Big Brother would have to up the prize money again (which probably won’t happen soon considering how recently it just happened)... or a future player would have to win the season, AFP, PLUS some extra 5 or 10 thousand offered at a Veto or luxury comp. If we broaden it to most money made on Big Brother in general, it could be broken by 1. Any former winner getting a second win 2. Xavier (or any future winner) coming back and getting 2nd place. Both of which are still pretty difficult to pull off.
Not sure if this is in reference to the record of most nominations consecutively avoided or not, but if it is, I’m pretty sure Cody technically only avoided something like 31 nominations due to the Veto barely being used all season long. If you’re just talking about that as a record alone, then yes that is definitely unbeatable (but tie-able for sure)
Derik's record could be beaten if the battle of block shows up any time soon, but that could also be broken if that same player joins a second BB season. But idk if CBS wants to do Battle of the Block due to how much of a flop it was.

I thought he had the record too but another comment pointed out that in season 9, due to the couples twist, there was a week with six nominees. One could argue that doesn't count though, since each pair was playing as one player. Cody's record was also tied though during the festie bestie twist. although team twist was involved, they were all playing as individuals

I would care if she wasn’t in my opinion one of the worst BB players ever. Maybe in terms of character she’s not the worst but I would argue she’s just like Raven from BB19, arrogant, entitled, delusional, and beyond obnoxious. I could definitely say players like Janelle and Dani were guilty of being that way too, but they at least could back up their smack talk, whereas Victoria didn’t play a good game, she was just viewed as a non-threat to where no one felt compelled to target her!

Derrick's run on not being nominated is even more insane knowing that there was a week where they did a renom by pulling skittles and he didn't get picked.

One stat I find interesting is the fact that Drew in BB5 played in EVERY single veto competition, due to how picking players worked. It can technically be tied if someone’s super lucky, but not broken!
That's a super good one that I forgot about, it's DEFINITELY an unbreakable record (obviously) but to even tie that record would require an unbelievable amount of luck. Kinda bumming I forgot about this record because it would have fit perfectly for this video!

Lol just taking a second look at Vanessa's nomination history, not only did one of her nominees get vetoed during each of her HoH reigns, but she's the only one to play a true backdoor on someone she literally saved with a PoV the prior week (Jason).
The amount of blood she should have been getting on her hands is unreal but she still had a 2/3 chance of making it to final2. What an amazing player.

It's definitely possible, unlikely but if someone wins enough they simply can't ever get a chance to vote them out they definitely could beat her record. Also not out of the question some kind of 2 veto comps a week twist could be instated at some point. Can't see it happening for a long time, even if Michael comes back honestly I don't think he will duplicate his veto/HOH wins, but given enough time someone probably will pull it off.

I can’t be convinced that Eric’s name was in the bag for the veto draw in BB8. It can’t be a coincidence that the player to be eligible for the most times without ever having their name pulled is also the only player in BB history to have production arbitrarily decide they can’t use the veto after they won it.

That's what I have deduced. Everyone's conspiracy theory was that Production wanted Dick to stay (which is probably true), but I think they had no plan for if Eric ever won Veto. I guess there was not enough time for the public to vote on what he should do. Eric got a raw deal being America's Player.
Agree, not that there is any way to prove it one way or another after all this time, but I am skeptical his chip was actually in the bag all those times. I do seem to remember them dumping them out on the feeds once and conforming everyones chip was in the bag in season 8, but that was pretty late in.
@@LoveableNiki Even if it wasn't about Dick, Eric winning Veto was tricky since it was the one thing he could do they didn't have a window for America to vote on. So I think BB was worried about the semantics of it and decided it was easier for him not to. To be fair I do remember on the feeds them checking the bag once and all the names being in it, but that was I believe pretty far into the game so doesn't prove it was always in there.

I think the potential to get yourself into too much trouble and hurt your career would be too big for an active lawyer. I mean Joseph and Shelby from Over The Top did finish law school, but they hadn't started practicing yet, so technically had nothing to lose. If you are established in a career like that I would think the risks would not be worth the reward. Especially for Vanessa who likely doesn't need the money.

But she wasn't a lawyer that time. I can see her playing even though she didn't need the money the first time when she was a professional poker player so the risk to her career was minimal. I don't see her playing a second time if she is a lawyer and thus could lose her job to backlash from something that happened on the season. I can't imagine it being worth the risk to play a second time unless she really needed the money and as we have established she never has.

One of my favourite random stats about Big Brother is that in the second all star season, the final three consisted of someone who had previously won, someone who had previously placed second, and someone who had previously placed third.
I also like that the final four of season 11 consisted of someone from each clique. I was disappointed season 23 didn't end up with one form each of the original teams in final four.
About season 11, it's so unironic that the final 2 were popular and sport, and popular won.

Honestly, as much as I would love to make it to the jury phase if I competed on BB, I would be happy being someone like Kaysar knowing that 1. He is arguably the most remembered player to have never made the jury, 2. He is held in pretty high regard by fans, especially with how amazing his character has been shown to be since he was first on BB, and 3. His relevance has only increased in light of the recent conversations that started regarding how POC players have been treated within the house.
Honestly seeing him and Joseph meeting for the first time last year as two beloved Muslim BB players warmed my heart on several levels!

Although even if she came back, I am skeptical she would last long enough. It was clear the last 2 times she played the Janelle of old is gone. The way comps are now I don't see her going on the same kind of comp win streak she did before, especially as they are so physical and she would almost surely be competing against players notably younger than her in them at this point. And she just draws too much heat from people for me to see her staying without a lot of comp wins. People don't like when I point it out but she played a season of all newbies, 2 All-Star seasons over a decade apart, and a mixed season. And the one thing that happened every time is she managed to rub multiple people the wrong way so badly that they became hyper focused on getting her out solely so they didn't have to deal with her anymore. People want to say "they just jelly" but it happened 4 damn times. There is no way she would not piss off multiple people and become the #1 target if she played again because that is just who she is, and without being able to go on a winning streak she will go home pre-jurt if she plays a fifth time I have almost no doubt.

here is another record I consider unlikely to be broken (though not a pleasant record): of all expelled players, Chima made it furthest into the game. Unlikely to be broken because if a player has behavioural issues likely to get them removed from the game, it usually manifests in the first few weeks
BotB is a huge record creator because it was easier to
- win HOH
- win HOH two weeks in a row
- nominate pawns
- get on the block
- survive the block
- have extra comp wins
Vanessa’s nomination record seems really only possible in something like this and Victoria’s nomination record is also hugely impacted by this.
Somehow, Derrick instead managed to avoid the block with all the extra noms, though he benefited from more hoh’s to get safety and the very team-based strategy in the season due to BOTB
Yeah BOTB kinda ruined the season though as far as it being pretty boring and predictable due to BOTB helping the mega alliance dominate. Honestly one could do an entire video on how badly this season has aged, between the misogyny, the mostly lack of good gameplay, and Derrick and Cody turning out to be pretty awful people. Even taking out the talk about Derrick repeatedly cheating on his wife, the fact that those two both gave the cookout a platform and then used their platform to minimize Kyle’s behavior last year was so reprehensible…..
Yeah, I've considered how to compare scores from it vs other seasons. It's tricky for sure. Esp once they started nominating certain people to ensure the other team would go up.

Another note about Vanessa’s Most Unique Nominations - she was on the season with the largest cast at 17, with a new addition (technically) at F11. So if the cast gets bigger… maybe it’s beatable?

Back then, people that young where allowed to apply, since then the age requirement has been raised to 21.
Ian Terry holds the record for youngest winner, he was only 21 when he won. At least Ian's record could be tied, another 21 year old could win. Michelle record for youngest houseguest to play cannot even be tied on account of the age requirement.

Vanessa has a rather crazy stat where she nominated every single male player that season with the exception of Jase, who was evicted week 1 before her first HOH.
Another one that I could see never being broken is Cody BB19, a single HOH nominating 5 different players in one week. This took one of his original noms quitting and being replaced by another, then the veto being used and him nominating a player with a special power who couldn't stay nominated, and then nominating another player to replace that. A normal HOH can only nominate up to 3 players in one week.
Also, someone winning despite never winning a single competition (Will BB2) is unlikely to ever happen again. We came really close to it in BB Canada 6 where Paras had 0 comp wins until F4 and won the last 2 HOHs. It's highly unlikely we'll ever see someone make it all the way through the game without winning a comp and get the jury votes to win. especially those last few rounds of the game.

Recent seasons have began with 16 houseguests (or 17 in the cases of Seasons 17 and 19). For his record to be broken a houseguest would have to sit out of eight consecutive Veto Competitions from Week One until there are eight houseguests remaining, which would tie Nicole Anthony's record set in Season 21. Meaning that particular houseguest cannot ever win HOH or be nominated Pre-Veto. To break Nicole Anthony's record of sitting out of eight straight Veto Competitions, a houseguest would have to sit out the first nine POV Competitions until there are seven houseguests remaining. However, if there is a split house at the final ten like there was in Season 24, this would not be possible.
Also the only reason he played in the F7 was someone got houseguest's choice. I'm fully convinced his chip just wasn't in there.

Tiffany technically holds the record for most consecutive HOH reigns because of a twist. In Week 8 she won HOH but was overthrown by Claire's secret HOH. Tiffany basically had all the perks of HOH (safety, the room), but she just could not nominate anyone because Claire had power over nominations. Since she did not have real power that week, she was eligible to play in the next HOH. She then won the HOH in Week 9 and had a regular HOH reign with power over nominations.
Again I'm not sure if this really is a record when you think of the Battle of the Block twist in seasons 16 and 17 but I still thought I would bring it up.
(also because with BOB the second HOH was completely dethroned while Tiffany just did not have power over nominations)
This recond has been matched by Jag. And unlike Tiffany, Jag had full control over both HOH's.

It is very possible (but unlikely) to make it to final two without ever casting a vote. You have to either be HOH or survive the block every week. I'm not sure if anyone has done it, I think some have come close.
I can't see anyone doing that but I kind of hope someone does, assuming they won HOH multiple times and didn't just survive the block every week because they were THAT big of a non-threat coaster type, would be beyond bad ass.
Frank had a rather crazy run in BB14 where I think he was either HOH or a nominee every single week until his eviction. He may have cast a vote or two though as I think he was an original nom who won veto at least once, maybe twice...
The mad hatter Vanessa is an amazing strategist, a beast at competitions an all around great player to watch. I’d love to see her come back to get her redemption! Throw Vanessa and Derrick in a season together I guarantee Vanessa strikes first and takes him out.
I am not debating Vanessa is a good player, she is. I do think she got lucky the week Becky was HOH despite the editors and some of her fans attempt to claim otherwise. But doesn't change how much she did the rest of the time (all winners have to some extent been lucky so doesn't make her a bad player that she caught a break one week she seemed certain to go). But a lot of why Vanessa lasted is she was in a house full of passive people who let her whine and shove her way because it was easier than dealing with not letting her have her way and having to endure Hurrican Vanessa in a relatively small space you can't leave. I don't think every cast would put up with her crap (even that season it almost caught up with her), and I definitely don't think Derrick would do that. Honestly, and again, Vanessa is far from a bad player I think if she came back on she would likely lose some of her mystique because I don't think she would nessecarily dominate again the same way she did the first time. She is no Dan Geesling IMHO (Although I am not a Dan fan so that isn't really an insult).

Whether or not you're a fan of Victor, seeing him return 2 times was amazing! That was a fantastic season! Paul winning the season would have made it even better.
I think that some of the twists from BB18 were really annoying. Having multiple "battle-back" competitions clearly favors strong competitors and punishes the players who try to remove strong players from from the game. It's no wonder Meech was so bitter. Her Co-HOH with Natalie was pointless. They took a shot at Paul and Victor, and they were punished by Victor immediately returning. Paulie was also close to returning to the game. That season pretty much confirmed that the safe "mob-mentality" gameplay introduced in BB16 is the best way to get around twists in the game.

Victor only returned twice. Returning 3 times would imply he would’ve been voted out 4 times in a season. And I really don’t think it was amazing, because each time it was like a 1 in 5 chance of winning, which isn’t that impressive or competitive

In BB18 it actually would be possible for someone to be evicted 4 times. Had Victor been evicted during the "Roundtrip ticket" phase of the game with the ticket that actually was the roundtrip ticket (which I think Paul ended up having), he could have been evicted 4 times. I managed to get someone evicted 4 times in a bb18 brantsteele simulation a few years ago, good times.
I'm not sure if they would have still done the second battle back if someone had returned via the round trip ticket. but if they did, it would be the first time they allowed three chances for a player to return in the same season.
There’s another record I think would be interesting. The longest a player ever went without ever casting their FIRST eviction vote. Frank from BB14 is the answer correct? That means a player would have to lose HOH and be nominated every week to even tie the record or would have to be HOH every other week and be on the eviction chair every week ineligible for HOH or somehow got their vote taken away due to penalty here or there. Not only that, but they’d have to survive the eviction chair too. Given Frank was given that freebee reset week as well, the likelihood of anyone ever breaking that record is slim to none. He didn’t vote for Jodi, Willie, Jojo, Janelle, Or Wil. The first time he voted was like week 6 during the week Boogie and Jenn were on the block, adding in the reset week. That’s absolutely insane!
That was one of the first records I put down for this list, but I kept it off solely because I do think it's possible for a perpetual pawn to manage to beat it. Do I think it's likely? Definitely not, and it definitely could have been in this video, but I just chose not to include it
@@Ethanimale that is a good point. A perpetual pawn could in theory beat it. All it takes is a player to sit on the block the first 6 rounds to tie it. I know counting reset weeks is tough for some fans, but they essentially redid the fourth eviction so it counts. What makes it unlikely is that he lasted the entire pre-jury without casting a vote until Boogie’s eviction. That’s just insane and unlikely to happen statistically. But BB14 was ripe for that stuff to happen.
If anyone who currently has a record that involves length of time (such as days in the house) came back again, they would beat their own record. Same record holder, but technically many of these records are quite beatable :)
Not sure Eric doesn't have production to thank for it. I am really questioning that his chip was actually in there.
Arguably the BB14 record about players not casting a vote could be broken again also, if multiple people quit or are expelled in oen week and/or someeone is a day on boot without a vote being cast for them. Although it would take a whole hell of a lot, BB tries to not let players quit and short of Meghan they have talked everyone who wanted to out of it (Arguably Dick although by all acounts he was not given a choice, and we don't know what happened to Neil) maybe Paloma but even if she technically asked to leave no way BB was keeping her in much longer given how bad she had gotten. So it would take some big event for 2 or 3 people to quick week 1 or 2 or 3 to be thrown out of the game before they could vote. But technically if a fist fight were to break out week 1 or the like it COULD happen.
I also think assuming Paul couldn't play again and once more lose in the final 2 might be generous. Hell he were to play and make final 2 again, 50/50 chance the jury would vote him to lose just to be part of keeping the meme alive.
Paul will always lose because he/they have no jury management skills. I went back and rewatched the jury question segments from bb18 and bb19 and he was horrendous both times. Never wanted to take credit for his moves and very defensive when asked about gameplay vs social game

I think it has officially been listed as 8 hours. Still an insanely short amount of time and probably won't be broken. Obviously that is mostly up to Big Brother. They could pull a "you all just met... now the HOH HAS TO evict someone, right now this second) 2 hours into the game. But given we have not even had a day 1 boot in years it seems unlikely they will ever force anyone out of the house as fast as Jodi was. I guess in theory someone could still spend less time, if they got evicted for bad behavior or quit the show in less than 8 hours. But it would be hard to get yourself in that much trouble that quickly, and if someone said they wanted to quit day 1 even if they eventually did BB would probably spend hours in the DR trying to talk them out of it which would likely get them past the 8 hour mark (and would still not mean they were "voted" out), so not as impossible as some on this vide, but insanely unlikely. If someone ever does beat Jodi's record BB ran out of ideas and forced a vote in one hour or the like, or someone who DEFINITELY should not have been cast crashed and burned in record time.
Maybe not quite unbreakable, but they’d have to dig pretty deep to find a contestant older than Jerry.

As for what I use to make these videos, it's pretty much all straight from the noggin. There do exist many tools, graphs, and numbers out there if you search it up either on the wikis or on Reddit, but most of the information that I come up with is done through deducing it on my own and then trying to find any patterns or outliers that I would use for videos (like this one)

Speaking of nominating the most unique houseguests nominated in a season, the most unique hosueguests nominated in a single HOH reign is 6 and is held by the duo of Joshuah and Sharon in week 3 of BB9 during the duos portion of the game, as they originally nominated 2 duos (4 houseguests) and had to name a duo as a replacement (2 more houseguests).
5 houseguests has happened twice, with Cody in BB19 due to a quit, the pendant of protection, and the veto; and with Michael in BB24 due to the festie-bestie twist where he nominated a group of 3 originally and replaced them with a group of 2.
The only time this record could've been tied is if Michael nominated the group of Alyssa, Indy and Taylor as the replacement, but as we all know, that was never going to happen lol.
Beating the record would require someone to nominate 7 houseguests which I just simply can't see happening even with twists that would shake up the game
I made another comment about Cody having the record for most nominees by a single HOH in a week, I had forgotten about season 9.
One HOH nominating 7 people in a week is unlikely, I don't think production will ever make it possible via twists but I can see it happening if someone leaves unexpectedly, as happened with Cody's HOH. someone happening to be HOH two weeks that include a combination of twists and unexpected departures is the easiest way I can see Vanessa's record of nominating ten people in a. season being beaten.

fun fact: he was almost on Big Brother Canada 4 when they had the audience vote for two of four international players to join the cast. He lost to Tim from Big Brother Australia
@@staceynainlab888 I don't want BB Canada but heard about it and think "almost" is subjective. I can't imagine most people voting even remembered him, and considering he was not fan favorite when he played it felt like he was there to fill a slot someone more likely to come in likely turned down. I remember when I heard about that thinking "I hope he gets a good payday for being eligible because no way is he coming in"

One way Vanessa's record of most players nominated could be more easily beaten would be if they changed the format so that the HOH nominates three people per week. Then you would only need to be HOH 3 times and have the veto used in two of those. Still nominating that many people without becoming a huge target would not be easy. Most people would nominate the same people again and again to avoid "blood on their hands"
Another way to beat it would be in a season where multiple people quit, get medivacced, or get expelled during weeks when you are HOH and multiple vetoes or other twists during some weeks. Like when Cody in season 19 had to nominate 5 people the same week due to the pendant of protection twist and Megan quitting. That is another interesting record in and of itself: most people nominated by a single HOH in a single week
I mean, 3 people being nominated does change the format, so I think those would be 2 separate awards

I hated the way she played. She was the queen of crying about anyone planning to put her up but then was literally trying to put up everyone herself.
This may be a tough subject to find candidates for, but what about the most fragile BB records? Like... ones that are surprisingly mediocre and you’re shocked haven’t been broken already.
For another unbreakable record, what about Taylor for most money made on Big Brother, especially for a single season?
She won and got AFP, which would normally put her at 525k, just shy of Dan’s 560k and Cody’s 550k, but she did this after the prize values changed, boosting her to 800k
To be broken in one season, either Big Brother would have to up the prize money again (which probably won’t happen soon considering how recently it just happened)... or a future player would have to win the season, AFP, PLUS some extra 5 or 10 thousand offered at a Veto or luxury comp.
If we broaden it to most money made on Big Brother in general, it could be broken by
1. Any former winner getting a second win
2. Xavier (or any future winner) coming back and getting 2nd place.
Both of which are still pretty difficult to pull off.
Derek Levausser had the record for most money won in a single season at 575K, until they raised the grand prize in season 23

Not sure if this is in reference to the record of most nominations consecutively avoided or not, but if it is, I’m pretty sure Cody technically only avoided something like 31 nominations due to the Veto barely being used all season long.
If you’re just talking about that as a record alone, then yes that is definitely unbeatable (but tie-able for sure)
Derik's record could be beaten if the battle of block shows up any time soon, but that could also be broken if that same player joins a second BB season. But idk if CBS wants to do Battle of the Block due to how much of a flop it was.

I thought he had the record too but another comment pointed out that in season 9, due to the couples twist, there was a week with six nominees. One could argue that doesn't count though, since each pair was playing as one player.
Cody's record was also tied though during the festie bestie twist. although team twist was involved, they were all playing as individuals
