The 94 minute game is still the best professional game ever played in my eyes. I go back at least once per season to rewatch the entire thing, and hope that one day Riot will work to make games longer again

@@joeshernchong6645 Actually they can beat GenG just look at what happened at Spring Finals. But let's say T1 can't beat GenG just to play devil's advocate. Even if they can't it doesn't matter because GenG ALWAYS chokes at Worlds. They always get shit on by even the mid tier LPL teams in quarters/semis. This has been the story for years now. GenG wins domestically vs T1 but gets shit on internationally meanwhile T1 loses domestically but does better than GenG internationally.

@@yz8800 Doubtful. Until Peyz genuinely shows he's at that caliber of player I don't see him winning Worlds more than once. I'm sure he will win it one time, but this has happened with literally every single player that people go crazy about and it happens every year. People have someone like TheShy, Showmaker, Ning, Tian, Crisp, etc. and they say "HOLY SHIT THIS PLAYER MIGHT BE THE NEXT FAKER-ESQUE LEGACY" and what happens? They win Worlds and then the next year they fall off like a brick down into irrelevancy and never have a resurgence. What Faker has managed to do is genuinely once in forever-type legacy. The only Non-T1 player to win Worlds even 2 times is BeryL. Every other 2+ time Worlds champ is a player who played for T1. Duke is a weird technicality because he has a "Worlds win" from when IG won Worlds but that was with TheShy and Duke played 1 game at most if any at all.
@@yz8800you know he's more spoon-fed than you actually think he is, even before canyon, lehends, and kiin. If he experience what teddy is experiencing rn, I'm sure winning worlds is impossible for him.
I know longest game its meant in-game time, but technically this year LCK was longer with the DDOS attacks around 7h :P

@@fenrael3021 And even if he did do that it still wouldn't make his career as impressive as Faker's. Faker is both the youngest AND oldest player to win Worlds. Every single Worlds winner has had a normal ___/^^^^\____ mountain-esque career where they peak one year and then become irrelevant after. For as good as Chovy is he has yet to come close to winning Worlds. Faker won Worlds at 17 and just won it again at 28(if im not mistaken). Chovy is a talented player but I genuinely doubt any player will manage to be as consistently good as Faker has. Even in his "slump" years he managed to stay competitive. He's been a damn solid and clutch mid laner for his entire career. For Chovy it's really only been the past 4 ish years.
Only time will tell but I doubt it. He's in peak form right now, but at his age? I think if he's lucky, he can achieve 2 world's trophy
