Hi. If I can't claim any of the other amounts besides the personal amount, do I just put 0 in the boxes or leave it blank, and put the basic personal amount in box 10?
please put 0 in all the fields and put same Line 1 value in Line 10.

Hi, thanks for the video. I got a job in May 2nd and filled this form but stopped working there by the end of May. Now I have a new job, do I tick the “more than one employer or payer at the same time” section?
No, they might not have used your credits in a month, so fill like its a new job.
Does the dependent for line 6 need to be infirm?
yes.
Hi Raj! thank you for this video. I have a question:
I started studying in January 2024 and just got my first part-time job (February 2024). The tuition for the full year of study is aprox. 17,500 CAD but I already paid the first semester last year (8,000 aprox).
My question is, in the section number 5 should I put the total of the tuition of the year (17,500) or the tuition minus what I already paid? (17,500 - 8,000)
I don't know, maybe it's better to leave it blank and get more refunds at the end of the year? Thank you in advance!!
Hi, its always a choice to claim credits at the end of the year. If you are sure to pay 17500 by the end of the year, you can use that amount or wait for your T2202 form at the end of the year. I hope it helps.
Thank you so so much!@@invest4k
I filled this form in 2023 when joining and still doing . Now i am starting another job too.Do i need to tick more than one employer though i haven’t filled this form again for my first employer this year ?
Yes, because your current employer is already granting you these credit for 2024
@@invest4k ok i have the same situation I got my first job in 2023 at that time i filled out this form and a federal form too and now I am starting a second job in May and they give me these both forms so i have to check box more than 1 employer cause i don't know that my first employer(2023) did this for me on my behalf and
One thing is that i didn't fill the tuition section in 2023 in those forms but when i filled my tax file for 2023 I gave T220A from college so am I good? cause my 2023 employer don't know what i paid for 2023 and what i will pay in 2024 for tuition
HII URGENT!!! Do i need to write full tuition fees of my 8 semesters(Bachelors degree) or just of 2 semesters per year? and what about deduction in living in prescribed z
one?
Please watch the video carefully, I have explained. You can also check another video for international students in my channel. You only mention fees you paid last year
Hi, I’ve been working full time for 2 yrs but I never filled out this form and I recently applied for another part-time job that requires me to fill out this form so am I supposed to mark the box for more than one employer ? I’m confused, pls let me know!!! And also another question, does that mean that I can only claim a tax return from one job? Sorry, have no idea about this at all!! If you know, pls let me know. Thank you.
Hi, I hope the video is helpful. No you do not need to select the box if you are filing for first time. No, it just means that you can only claim this 15k credit once a year, if one employer is already giving you the credit that means you already used the credit and you cannot claim again. If this was not the case, people would do 15k worth multiple jobs and never pay any taxes. I hope the explanation helps. All the best!
@@invest4k Thank you so much for the clarification!
I had two jobs but ended one in dec 2023, do i thick of the box of two employers at the same time. i didn't fill any other form for my other job. i'm confused
Hi, For 2024, if you only have 1 job and also you are only filing this form first time since January, you don't need to tick that box
@@invest4k i have 2 jobs right now but i filled this form last december so do i need to fill it or not
I work 2 jobs, part time and recently I got a full time job. I've been working at my first job(part time) for more than a year but I've never filled out this form. Do I tick the option ?
Hi i am under 65 years of age. What should I have to fill in the age amount box 2
0
Hi, I am on a study permit in canada but by mistake I filled india for non- residents only section, so what should I do.. can I make changes or fill new form?
Should be fine for now or you can ask your employer to re-file it. Its not for government but for employer.
@@invest4k okay thanks
For the Ontario caregiver amount what would I put down? And how would I do the calculations for the Ontario caregiver amount on TD1ON-WS in line 7.
Hi, as you mentioned you need to use the other form to calculate, which you can find through the same link in the description of the video
@@invest4k thank you
