State sales tax, county sales tax, hospitality tax, liquor tax are ridiculous in SC. They also need to get rid of personal property tax for you vehicle.
@@RetirementLifeUSA I read it's a partial tax on both. I live in Virginia and I'm trying to see which is cheaper. They both have personal property tax on cars also.

I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second daughter. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks.

I agree with getting rid of vehicle tax....the rest are everywhere especially in destination towns

@BlackBirdieGolf SS is not taxed. You get a 15k deduction from pensions and 401k at age 65.....a little less starting at 60
