Once again, an outstanding and awesome build from a classic muscle car. I remember that movie well, it scared the living you know what out of me. Have a Merry Christmas and see you Saturday at your show.
Did you do the front and rear reflectors on the side of the car like you did on the A Team Van? Love the orange tint on the front lower lights as well. Nice sanding work on that rear wheel well also!
+Holtsberry Hobbiest About 6 hours worth of work beside the paint drying time. I usually pre plan and know what I want to do ahead of a build. And I gather what I'll need before I start.
Have you ever tried to make a model that wasn't a model kit as in a custom airplane or something like that? I'm asking because it seems like you have all the tools to do it and it would be cool to see something like the airplane from the cartoon tailspin called the sea duck.
Very late comment, but for extra realism, the engine in the Phantasm Cuda was really a 340, although the hood represented a 440 6 pack. Probably a good thing that although the hood was raised in one scene, they didn’t show the actual engine. I came across that info and this video researching for a Phantasm Cuda for a group build (movie or TV muscle cars).
+brian knowles It would depend on the rear gearing, you want top end, you go with a low ratio. Better acceleration, high ratio. Regardless a Hemi Cuda will get you want you want to go right quick like :)
Great build Boyd!- Mark

+Holtsberry Hobbiest Yes, the same technique. I think it makes them pop a little better.

Wow, I wish someone would make these to buy
beautiful man, did you make the plates or buy them? I have the 1:18 ertl diecast signed by the cast and been trying to get the right plates for it.
Awesome!!..wheres the Sun Roof??
There was like more than one car
Yeah, totally distracted by the beauty of the car, there was a movie? Won't do it half as good, but that's going on my list. My eyes love u.
the funny thing is, this has a Hemi, but the original movie had a 440+6
How did you make the chrome friezes?
good job.good vid,music. my favorite movie,go mopar.
Nice job but...where's the sunroof?
WoWww!!
Great build! Can you tell me what music you used for this video?
Those are piece from the Phantasm Soundtrack. They should all be on UA-cam.
Where’s the antenna?
Very nice, but the front should be lower, and rear fender flares should be more bulgy
what top speed of this car went not movie mode and how much that same year I born I born in 71
