Great demo. Great gear.
Classic pedal with a classic sound.
My favorite go to delay pedal!
3:20-3:29 that was the noise that would end most oasis gigs back in the early 2000s
Had the mkii and sold it cuz it took up to much space.. but now, it shall make the return as the mkiii
"Hey Mom, guess what dad got me!?" 😅
Please, play some Cumbia with that Fuzz and Delay combination! Sounds amazing!
How would you compare this to a boss DD pedal? Looking for an allround delay but also one that does the King Gizzard freaky short delay sound.....
This one is more suited to a set and forget style delay
Nice review and playing. I’m bt this, a canyon and a carbon copy
Hmmm,...I hear kind of a crappy overloaded signal type of distortion to this delay that I don’t hear in my original?
Probably not a true bypass
@@AudioStorm1980 “true bypass” vs “buffered” has nothing to do with the sound of a pedal “in use”.
There’s no crappy pedals just different sounding ones. It’s good enough for Kingfish and he’s got great tone.
Does it have a hard or soft switch?
given the name of this pedal.. I’m guessing a hard switch.
Aqua-Puss or Boss Waza Craft delay?
How to do the 2:44 effect?
9v battery?
Yes
We want Andy!
J this dudes good too! Has some great demos on this channel! Yeah, Andy's the Pedal Whisperer but Joe's cool, plays well and dresses hipper than Andy!!
I love Andy but this guy is awesome
we want Johnny DeMarco!! ;p
Does two examples with the slapback then says "it does a great slapback" lets hear.... 😕
This or canyon?
depends what you are after. This is a great sounding pedal but the canyon is definitely more fun and if you are the kind of guitarist who likes to get experimental and make some weird sounds then definitely get the canyon, if you are after something more classic then this but then again the canyon can do classic pretty nicely anyway. I'd vote canyon to be honest.
Turn up the heat in the studio. It must be freezing in there.
What’s your guitar??
Reverend double agent
Some of the best if not the best guitars made today.
It's called a swell you just roll your volume up as you play a note with reverb/delay on.
This should be their size since the beginning.
2:47 how is this done?
you probably learned how to do it now but it’s volume swelling. you play the notes with the volume knob at zero, and use your pinky to swell the volume up after the attack of your strum.
Volume swell can be also done with a volume pedal as well as the old school way with the guitar volume knob. Turn off the volume hit the note and then turn up the volume.

Literally why I am here
boy can play
Before the Bright, this was the analog go to if you didn't want the dark Carbon Copy repeats. Now MXR and WH (&Dunlop)are the same company, not sure the circuit has been more than just down sized.WH were ground breaking ,once upon a time..

Most of us use these bucket brigade units for fattening and adding movement to single notes. The effect was too exaggerated and didn't really help.
Would be nice if these pedal reviews showcased multiple instrument types like a synth or drum machine and not just guitars.
I wish it had a switch to go to 600 ms
Sounds pretty wet to me. Not worth the $150 msrp but most def a cool pedal
Soooo a rehoused Carbon Copy?? 😂😂😂
nope
Joke. MXR is owner by the same guys :)
yeah, i know, Jeorge Tripps designed both but they're different...the only real similarity is they're analog. 300ms vs 600ms makes a big difference to the brightness of the repeats, CC has modulation, aqua puss doesn't.
I have both and this isn't as good as carbon copy. This is basically great for slapback but don't blend as well with overdrives. This is definitely a classic tho!
@@thepman28 I had a carbon copy and did not like it at all. It was a very weak sounding pedal. This delay pedal in the video sounds a million times better.
Why not show how 90 % of the players use it? I guess that would be smart
300 ms is a joke ,there is chineese 20$ bbd delays that can do 1000 ms
Ok
It’s not a looper pedal mate.
Is it all hipsters working at reverb 🤦🏼♂️
Ari Koenig Maybe shut your eyes (and mouth) and just listen 🤷🏼♂️
