I personally own a 2006 and love it. I don't know why people complain about the rear seats, there is more leg room back there then a lot of sedans offer. Definitely beats the heck out of Camaro/Mustang back seats.
honestly pretty standard build on an ls2 gto, ported heads, cam (that cam probably needed at least valve springs as well), fast intake, throttle body, upgraded injectors, fast 102 intake manifold and throttle body, headers, and exhaust, an over the radiator intake and a dyno tune lol.
@@csack7904 243s flow very well ported. Tsp ports them for 1k. Fast manifold and TB 1500$.. cam and headers 1200$ for under 4500$ 470-500whp is very achievable. Another 1k for suspension.
Call me a neanderthal but I actually liked this GTO styling over many of the 'retro-modern' styling of the Camaro and Mustangs of the 2000s era. It is clean and purposeful with just enough styling changes to make it recognizable as a Pontiac. The same can be said for the G8. Still sad Pontiac is dead though.
I like the newschool GTO but admittedly it looks like a big ass jellybean. It's an acquired taste I guess. A lot of people think its ugly but I think its the perfect blend of family/sporty.
GM didnt market it well enough. The Chevy SS and Holden are now discontinued. Have you ever seen a Chevy SS commercial? Its a superior sedan to a malibu, impala, cruze, etc. Has as much features as a Cadillac as well, and is a highly regarded sedan by reviewers. The only issue is the common person doesnt know what Holden or its rebadged American versions are.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. This guy is so much better than the other channels. No talking about door handles and 25 minutes walking around the car. Just gets to the point and goes for a drive and actually mics the engine. I swear to god sometimes doug Demuro forgets to drive the car, and when he does it's like he's 90 years old.
+RyMann88 I work for an insurance company and I have a customer with an 06 GTO. The car is in immaculate condition. I believe it's up to the owner on how well they take care of the interior.
+RyMann88 Mines a 05 and ive had it for about 3 years now. everything is good accept my roof upholstery is starting to sagg. could be because i always ride with my windows down. idk but i keep up with it.
+Jurocket I have an 04 with about $6,500 in mods including 05 hood and rear bumper. kooks long tubes, magnaflow catback exhaust with xpipe, Lingenfelter CAI, Professional Products intake manifold, NGK plugs, Msd performance wires, and planing on custom cam, trans cooler, and 3800 stall next
That's because it wasn't a Pontiac. If you've ever sat in one of these cars you can tell it's not your average GM. Excellent interior, best I've ever sat in. These things had better leather in them than a Ferrari.
Thing is Nasty!! These are a great alternative for an S197 Mustang if you want something a little less popular, especially the 06+ with the 6.0! One of your best acceleration reactions I think :D
Sold my 06 in 2014 (original owner) and had to sell it to pay bills. The buyer is selling to buy a race bike and I got first dibs and she's coming back home. Looking forward to mods and keeping her to the grave this time around. Best fitting car I've owned and lots of knee room for a fat old guy 6'2". Too bad I'm overseas working but my bro is taking care of business on it. Thanks Brudda.
I own a nice 2004 gto, with all the 05/06 upgrades and alot done to the ls1 motor and multitude of other things .I peel back cars of this generation all the time, challengers, chargers, mustangs, camaro, etc. This car was ahead of its time for almost 20 years ago... I ALWAYS get head turns and compliments everywhere I go. I'm actually a ford fan, but I always wanted a gto, and I purchased one this year, put a ton of money Into, and now I have a true classic beast. Good video, love the car.
I picked up an 06 Black GTO with just 51k miles in 2017 for $12.5k. The original owner had already had it modded at East Texas Muscle Cars in Longview Texas. Performance Mods TQv2 Cam AFR 205 heads Exhaust 3500 Stall CAI Fuel Injectors Mini tub in back with 315s The exterior was in great condition, probably a 7 out of 10. I've added the SAP front end (bumper fascia and grill, didn't care for the SAP side skirts or rear bumper). Also replaced the stereo system and had all the gauges and buttons reworked by Bohman customs to have red backlightong and tach/speedo needles that go from white to red as they climb. The car is a blast to drive, very reliable and gets lots of compliments. At 480 to the wheels I don't find myself needing more power. I've currently got it sitting next to my 65 red GTO in the garage and while the 06 "GTO" doesn't resemble the original GTOs it's still a great car.
That was such a great review, Matt! Always loved these Holden imports (gto, g8, ss). Growing up, my neighbor had one; every day he came home from work, I remember listening for it. Amazing sounding car.
Well, 3 months ago i stated i wanted one of these.... I got one lol. Its an 04, doesnt look as good as the 05 and 06 but man is it fun! Love this car to death. The center stack doesnt really concern me. When i used to drive my brothers car to work, i used to use the radio. Now in my car, i dont even touch it. Just turn on the car, roll down the window a tad, and listen to the exhaust!
My dad took me for a drive in one of these when I was younger. I had never been in a real sporty car like it before that point, so I had no idea what to expect. My dad punched it and threw me back into my seat. Nearly shit myself, and wanted one ever since.
Probably one of my favourite review you've ever done!! I've been waiting a while for you to do a Pontiac G8, but that's close enough! Keep up your hard work! You certainly have a future in this industry. Cheers
Sorta update, I got my first ticket! But it wasnt in my gto LMAO. Was in a pontiac slowstice, i blew the motor in my gto and was in the process of repairing it so i was borrowing my moms car. So still no tickets in the gto! And i would like to add that I havent had a working speedometer in that car since june
That 06 GTO with the optional Appearance Package that actually looks like a muscle car! The 04s looked bland but by 05/06 you could order the special front and rear bumper , slightly different grilles, side skirts and unique spoiler that made it look more aggressive. Rare car!
One of the nicest and timeless I interiors imo of any normal car up to the present besides the outdated infotainment system, which wasn't bad for it's year
I owned a 2004 GTO back in 2007. From what I remember from that time, the gas tank was moved from under the trunk to just behind the back seats in the trunk because it wouldn't have met US crash test requirements if it wasn't moved.
I have a 2006 Goat u can fit 3 golf club bags in the trunk easy. Back seats are probably one of the best comfort out of any seats regardless front or rear seats PERIOD, 2 TOTALLY understated points of the car
Awesome review Matt! had an 06 GTO very similar to this one, same color SAP front and grilles. unfortunately crashed it about 9 months ago. But this review reminded me of the how much I liked it and how much I miss it.
Nice car, nice review. One thing - back seat area is actually pretty roomy and comfortable (a child seat fits just fine). Getting in and out of the back is a chore, but once seated, nothing but complements from my passengers.
Ahhhhhhhhh, I really wish Pontiac hadn't of tanked like how they did; My mind just dances around the ideas of all the classic's they could have brought back as modern cars
Thanks for the excellent review! This is one of the most unappreciated modern muscle cars. The good news is they are still reasonable affordable and a riot to drive as you just found out. Throw on some basic bolt-ons and it gets even that more aggressive.
I had the 04' LS1 model with Full exhaust, LT headers, intake and tune and I absolutely loved it! I sold it when I moved from NY to Florida over 10yrs ago and I still think about it..
Sales appreciation seems to have went up the last year or so. The '04-'06 GTO's seem to be going up in value of late instead of down. I guess many are starting to realize how killer and rare they are now. You just do not see many of them around.
Matt, the size of grin you had, tells the viewers all they need to know...you looked like you were experiencing an American car the way they used to be, but with some modern flair, and decent ride and handling...a very under-appreciated vehicle for sure!
thank you for all of your awesome reviews -- especially this one! i learned to drive on a '06 GTO so this was a very special experience! loved watching you work out the power in that goat; amazing! can't wait to get my hands on one of these again.
This is a really cool GTO generation that I appreciate a lot more now than I did when they were new. This video doesn't talk about the outer styling which I will here. Reviving a classic nameplate like the GTO or 2 seater T-Bird is a risky, tricky venture. Much of the criticism of the '04-'08 is that it didn't look like the '67. No shit it didn't, and than God they didn't try to!!!! The Camaro that's now been out many years is an example of why this GTO WAS styled the right way! Although the Camaro has been a very successful seller, the styling has been love it or hate it. I fall into the hate it category, although the 2016 is slightly better looking, especially the back end and an overall less freaky, muscle-bound appearance. I would still consider it to be a gen 5 Camaro; the initial press reports gave the impression it would be more different looking that it is. I know the gen 5 model was supposed to be a modern take on the '69 (which itself was slightly larger and less sports car like than the '67-'68) but the car turned out to be a disproportionate, freaky, and truthfully grotesque take on the '69; sorry. Imagine a freaky, ugly caricature of a '67 GTO?? Not a nice thought. While this GTO may be somewhat bland, consider what I said above. I think the fresh, clean sheet of paper approach of kind of an American/German (BMW) coupe in which they went was the way to go. The best example of actually trying to revive old car styling done right is the Dodge Challenger. Mustang I'm not including because it was never out of production. I mentioned the T-Bird (2002-2005) in the first paragraph. 10 years ago I thought they were just 'okay'. Largely because of the Camaro, I realize and appreciate what a great job Ford did with that car which was a much tougher thing to try and do (update the '55-'57) than updating the '69 Camaro. Improving on the style of the original T-Bird is impossible, but certainly having the right proportions as foundation (very basic to know, and I'm not a car designer) helped a lot. If anyone out there is thinking they'd like to see a modern '55-'57 Chevy, there's the 2002 Bel-Air which captures the flavor of it in a thoughtful, restrained, dignified manner you'd never see today.
i think this car would have been more popular if it didnt have the damn GTO label. its just doesnt look like a muscle car. but the car is damn fast and sounds great. just doesnt seem to have the same soul as the others.
The price turned people away. I had a 1970 gto that my girl friend wrecked. I now have a 2006 gto. 2 totally different cars. I liked the looks of the old one but would rather drive the new one as it is much faster. It only makes sense that the fastest Pontiac should be a GTO.
I agree. I personally think that the 05-06 is a good looking car, albeit a bit conservative in appearance. It is far from ugly. I just think that the styling was a bit too conservative for the legacy it had to live up to.
The back seat is huge, it is not small in anyway...that is if you can get back there. The fronts even when raked all the way forward makes it hard to get in and out of. I've fit 2 adults back there multiple times, some over 6ft and they've mentioned how comfy it is once there. It has more space than my WRX and it feels like sitting in a mid-size sedan...which I guess it should since the GTO Monaro is just the coupe version of the 4 door Commadore.
Great review of an absolutely amazing machine!! I sold two 2004 5.7 GTO's, I sold one 2005 GTO 6.0, and three 2006 6.0 GTO's back when I was in new cars sales at the Buick/Pontiac/GMC Truck dealership from 2002-2006. I did a dealer swap for a brand new 2006 Impulse Blue with Blue leather interior, GTO 6 speed manual with the newly optional for '06, 18" wheels. I drove an automatic 2006 GTO to swap for the 6 speed model. What a fun ride that was!! The GTO I picked up only had 4 miles on it, so I didn't want to beat on it or anything. Not that I would have anyway, but I definitely didn't want to abuse my customers new car since he was a really nice guy. I did do a couple of 3rd gear 70 mph pulls fairly close to the 6500 redline... At about 6200 rpm I shifted into 4th. I did this long after it was warmed up and driving for about 25 miles or so. Honestly, I had a great time just cruising on the highway in 6th gear getting nearly 30 mpg at 65-70 mph according to the vehicle info center. It's such a comfortable and fun to drive car.
I owned one of these and put 40k miles on it. It was, hands down, the sketchiest handling vehicle I ever owned. Even worse than my 1999 Mustang. Wet roads meant taking great caution with the power. I never wrecked it, but it sure tried its best. It did have amazing sound and acceleration as long as you kept it going in a straight line.
+Glenn Miller Wow that's crazy. Maybe the couple suspension mods the owner did helped to fix some of those problems! Good to know though for those considering one of these, thanks for sharing your experiences!
+Glenn Miller That's a problem with the GTO. Sure, it has an IRS, but the weight, skinny 275 tires, and lack of aftermarket suspension refinements makes it handle less than decent in most cases. I've ridden in my buddy's 2002 Camaro Z/28 with some aftermarket wheels/tires, Koni shocks, 1.25" lowering springs, panhard bar, and sway bars. Car felt like it was stuck on rails, no joke. The 300+lb GTO without these mods can't compete in the corners.
+Glenn Miller Yeah, it was fundamentally still the same 1997 VT platform underneath so it was pretty obsolete by 2006 - and to be honest, they weren't even that great in 1997.
Glenn Miller true stuff about the wet roads! New owners, be aware it slips easily. Also acceleration is great. Only part i disagree with (and this might be subjective) is that it handles worse than a 99 mustang. I still have my 2001 mustang gt(which im assuming is similar handling to your 99) and its not even close. Now, you do feel the weight more in the gto, but i still feel like my gto handles way better than the mustang ever did. But like i said, everyones experiences are different. Great car, very happy with it and going over a year owning it and 0 issues! Solid car and you never see them. Nice having a different car than all the camaros, mustangs, and chargers everywhere. Not hating on them, but damn they are EVERYWHERE
This review is EPIC Matt! I've been hoping you'd review a GTO since I suscribed to you over a year ago. And man you gotta love that signature LS let off snarl.
that's the person he is if everyone was the same life would be boring. His laughs and giggles bring a dramatic effect to character of the car and it shows truly how much fun he had while driving it,the quality that subaruwrxfan has Draws people in to the point where people might feel or see themselfs driving in something like that, while sharing his true happiness and feelings into a car which makes people truly think and that's what most car reviewers today are lacking in.
I prefered the gto interior over the camaro cts v and the corvette. I have an 04 m6 and in the last 2years I have seen 3 others on the road. The cars drive well stock, when dialed in they handle excellent.
My son's Goat just came off the dyno. 604hp at the wheels, & 618torgue. I had my H3 in the shop so I got to drive his Goat to work the other day. This was the FIRST time I was happy that I worked so far from home....haha
awesome review. i myself just bought an 04 pontiac gto 5.7 ls1 6 speed. this car is great i knew it was going to be fast but i wasnt expecting it to ride, handle, and hook up as well as it does. All the things i had on the list to upgrade got thrown out the widow after a few shake down runs. great and cheap car to start out with.
+David Downing Yea, There are fewer and fewer of these on the road since the price dropped off over the years. Kids are slamming these things into trees all the time. That's why you don't see them all the time anymore. I have a Torrid Red one like in this video and only 2,179 were made. I'm sure over half have been totaled by now.
+David Downing 8k for an 05 or 06 is really cheap for any mileage if it still runs. 04's with LS1 and inferior brakes are possibly cheaper if you can work a deal. My best advice for cars like this is to aim for a modded car with things you would buy anyway. The GTO has relatively expensive parts for a GM vehicle. This is mainly due to the limited run. I bought mine for 16k with cam, FAST 102, tuned, and full exhaust. I thought it was a decent deal with only 45k miles on her. Good luck if you are in the market for one.
+David Mills Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing them in any way, in fact I'd love to own one some day. My point is though that $8k is not a realistic price for a first time car buyer.
Damn that thing sounds nasty! I love the look of these too, Over here in England they are sold as Vauxhall Monaro VXR's and there are one or two around where I live and they sound just as good! Awesome stuff matt!
Dude that fuckin exhaust tho!!! It sounds soooo nasty! I Love it!!! Now This is a Driver Enthusiast's car!! One Question!!!!! GTO or G8 GXP!! Which One would YOU choose??
I would never, EVER play the radio if I had this beautiful exhaust note to listen to.
I personally own a 2006 and love it. I don't know why people complain about the rear seats, there is more leg room back there then a lot of sedans offer. Definitely beats the heck out of Camaro/Mustang back seats.
Without a doubt has more leg room then alot of 4 door cars
Me too love my stock Garage Queen weekend cruiser
do you know what wheels are on the gto in the video
Whoever Built that close to 600hp N/A engine deserves double whatever he was paid! Fukin outstanding Build..
honestly pretty standard build on an ls2 gto, ported heads, cam (that cam probably needed at least valve springs as well), fast intake, throttle body, upgraded injectors, fast 102 intake manifold and throttle body, headers, and exhaust, an over the radiator intake and a dyno tune lol.
its very easy if you have a liquid cooled debit/credit card backed by a full bank account.i see tens of thousands in mods on this beast
trillrif axegrindor everything the guy above listed wouldnt have cost more than 3k if it was installed diy

The old Camaros are ugly af and so are the Mustangs compared to the GTO. And btw I drive an 11 Camaro

its an okay looking car, but i think the front needs a little work and they shouldve put bigger tires
I wish gm put pontiac back in the game
You want a hsv

also by the time it got rolled out in 2004 the American dollar lost value and jacked up the price from $25K to $30K compared to the Aussie Dollar.
A T my first car was a Pontiac vibe 😭
That may be...one of the angriest sounding V8s I've ever heard
+maximus9401 Dem headers tho!
+maximus9401 check out dudeinblue in the terminator.
i like the sound of this beast too.
+dsavish I saw that review, that terminator sounds so fucking angey
Angry*
+maximus9401 I heard one of these driving around Camp Lejeune and its got to be one of the loudest V8's Ive ever heard.
P.S. Turn your sound down at 7:37. Thank me after! Haha this car is super loud!
+subaruwrxfan awesome review
+subaruwrxfan lol I absolutely turned it up from there
+subaruwrxfan what the price

This is the cleanest, most well maintained Pontiac I've ever seen... Props to the owner, I hear Pontiac interiors don't hold up well over the years.

Dammit Mike, 05+
I daily drive an S197 and I'm thinking about getting one of these as a track car
Street Speed 717 lol yeah it is man
Little less popular with a higher price tag
The back seat is actually very roomy, sit back there and those are the most comfortable seats.
Yes, the back seats are VERY roomy, more so than any other sporty car.
I completely agree with you it has some of the best seats that Chevy has ever put in a sports car.
+Martin Yapor remember, this is a pontiac ;) hahaha but they're all basically brand new because passengers don't occur very often.
Very nice
Jonathan Donnell yes these seats are amazing, when your 6 foot tall you’d much rather be in the back of this instead of a mustang.
That exhaust note is just incredible... I love the roar of V8's.

Ikr I've never seen an old man in a gto

If gm wants to make a huge profit and get back in the high HP muscle car game with ford and dodge then bringing back pontiac is they're best option.
These cars in stock form ride like a luxury car. Had a few of them, and they're great long range cruisers. 27 mpg on the highway at 75 mph also.
I enjoy mine. Not many around, that's why I like it.
My dad took me for a drive in one of these when I was younger. I had never been in a real sporty car like it before that point, so I had no idea what to expect. My dad punched it and threw me back into my seat. Nearly shit myself, and wanted one ever since.
Us Aussies build cars the world want to drive . Jeremy clarkson loves these cars
Not anymore we dont :(
That is a cool car, the owner did a great job on it. Also a great review as always Matt, I love when you are able to do modified cars
First set of wheels I've seen in a long time that actually look awesome.
holy hell that thing sounds amazing. i have my turtle beach head sets on, and this video just justified their purchase. love these.
That is the sound of the Apocalypse. Oh my goodness.

+jaypee1313 Thank you a lot for the kind words, I really appreciate it! I'll look for a G8 to do someday as well!
The look on his face while he is driving the car says it all. :)
Nice! A couple weeks ago I picked up a 1997 Trans Am WS6 M6 in dark green metallic. I love it!!!
I wished they hadn't discontinued Pontiac division
This channel is great, your gt350 review is hilarious, nobody that reviews that ride is never ready
lol "a great first car for a lot of people" Yeah, follow this advice and it will be your last car too. Way too much power for a first time driver.
my first car and i havent even gotten a ticket yet (knock on wood)

Matt when you get loud cars you def need to do some tunnel runs!
Definitely underrated in a scene saturated with mustangs, camaros, and challengers. This is probably my favorite GM car.
Matt, can you do more reviews of modified cars? I think it cool seeing your reaction lol!
+Balo657 I have at least 2 more that will be coming over the next month!
+Balo657 I second this. Though I love normal reviews, modified reviews are fun to since they give an insight into what one can be turned into!
Best looking Pontiac I’ve ever seen nice 👍🏻

you probably did not seat in the back. I had one for 3 years and those seats are very comfortable and have decent leg room. Cheers!
The back seat actually is very spacious. It's not like a camaro or a mustang. The back seat is super comfortable. My friends love riding back that.
Somebody get him an LS1 F-body!
+Unbearable Pain A WS6
You can get a c5 vette for cheaper than a ws6
Patrick Crotsley where is this at?😂
B H you can get c5’s for under 10k
One of the nicest and timeless I interiors imo of any normal car up to the present besides the outdated infotainment system, which wasn't bad for it's year
that car must be so powerful! it looks like you had to hang to the steering wheel during the acceleration!!
I owned a 2004 GTO back in 2007. From what I remember from that time, the gas tank was moved from under the trunk to just behind the back seats in the trunk because it wouldn't have met US crash test requirements if it wasn't moved.
I really think this is the best sounding car on your channel.
Still love these cars in 2023
Shit it’s 2024 and it’s my Lock Screen on my phone lmao, I absolutely love this car and the quirks of owning it
you know what gto stands for in my book? after 90mph GOD TAKES OVER
I have a 2006 Goat u can fit 3 golf club bags in the trunk easy. Back seats are probably one of the best comfort out of any seats regardless front or rear seats PERIOD, 2 TOTALLY understated points of the car
i love that scenery at 7:01 is that a freeway overpass ?.. i like that our aussie commodores are rebadged.
yes we likie a V8
Awesome review Matt! had an 06 GTO very similar to this one, same color SAP front and grilles. unfortunately crashed it about 9 months ago. But this review reminded me of the how much I liked it and how much I miss it.
idiot......
you should do a review on a Pontiac G8
Hope you still practice heel toe, I want to hear some crazy downshifts in a car like this 😁😁
+TheGetawayer Haha the clutch in this car was way too tricky to do any fancy shifting sadly :/
subaruwrxfan
Looks more like you could have supported it that way. There are no such thing as a clutch that is too tricky for a car reviewer :D
+llxFALLENxll UA-cam it, car and driver has done some videos
U dont need to heel toe to downshift
JrNYC G35 just sounds better and makes it more fun for most
I had the 04' LS1 model with Full exhaust, LT headers, intake and tune and I absolutely loved it! I sold it when I moved from NY to Florida over 10yrs ago and I still think about it..
This is still my most watched video on UA-cam, I will own one of these cars one day.
I love these old GTOs, the 391 Gears in this one are perfect for stoplight to stoplight!
I wish I had back roads like you guys! I have to deal with pure flat land.
Sales appreciation seems to have went up the last year or so. The '04-'06 GTO's seem to be going up in value of late instead of down. I guess many are starting to realize how killer and rare they are now. You just do not see many of them around.
Pontiac firebird 2002 next ;)
+Jak2bossbf3 YASSSSSS
Or a trans am ws6.
+Jak2bossbf3 A WS6
Of course a WS6! Those are sweet!
***** 12 years later and those things still look sweeeet
Matt, the size of grin you had, tells the viewers all they need to know...you looked like you were experiencing an American car the way they used to be, but with some modern flair, and decent ride and handling...a very under-appreciated vehicle for sure!
definitely will be a collectable car
Such a fun car to drive. Don't knock a car until you drive it. 6.0 GTO is a force to be reckoned with. Thankful for mine.
dude, its a OHV engine, it doesnt have "Cams".
+firechicken76 lol yeah.
It has a cam. He related the sounds to old school v8s with upgraded cams. Or an old v8 with an upgraded cam. Be picky or just re evaluate the wording.
@@nunyanotta1422 old school v8's dont have upgraded CAMS
thank you for all of your awesome reviews -- especially this one! i learned to drive on a '06 GTO so this was a very special experience! loved watching you work out the power in that goat; amazing! can't wait to get my hands on one of these again.
Get off the gas bro!!! They’re great cars!!! I’d love to have that one in my garage.
Thank you for the awesome review. Liked that it was fast without long ass intro and just straight to the point . You got me as a subscriber man
Yup it's fast 💨 and loud. Best reaction yet 😂
The price?? You could get one for 28k brand new. Name another LS2 T-56 car you could get in 05 or 06 for 28K?
Jeanine Rollins
I never saw any in 06 for that price. They were all over $30 grand.
I agree. I personally think that the 05-06 is a good looking car, albeit a bit conservative in appearance. It is far from ugly. I just think that the styling was a bit too conservative for the legacy it had to live up to.
Soul is not in the way it looks its the whole thing drive one and you'll feel the soul of this car, its kind of special.
*Gets to driving*
Smiles ear to ear and rips on it and talks the whole time- props for properly portraying the emotions you get driving a good v8!
My possibly favorite V8 car.
All my favourite cars are V8's. 4 cylinder cars are for girls!
Still till this day these cars are awesome! The smile on your face is awesome
The back seat is huge, it is not small in anyway...that is if you can get back there. The fronts even when raked all the way forward makes it hard to get in and out of. I've fit 2 adults back there multiple times, some over 6ft and they've mentioned how comfy it is once there. It has more space than my WRX and it feels like sitting in a mid-size sedan...which I guess it should since the GTO Monaro is just the coupe version of the 4 door Commadore.
appreciate my GTO 👌
A 6 speed 06 GTO impulse blue with blue interior is my dream car sadly where I'm from impossible to find one
still better than ur hybrid mustang IMO. :)
Everyone is buying the basic Camaro and other muscle basic cars with the v6 when you can get something like this and have a fun car to drive.
I had one for 5 years handling was bad... Rear tires were so skinny it would step out on you on long sweepers at moderate speed.
Please change the intro song, its quite horrible
I do like those GTO's. I missed my chance to own one three years ago. My goal was to compete with the m3 in performance and refinement.
love these. purchased 1 with a supercharger, tune and full exhaust with high flow cats. lovely sound
Why does this guy always giggle like a girl who got a barbie at Christmas?
that's the person he is if everyone was the same life would be boring.
+Mr _sky couldn't say it any better...I own a gto it's a bad bitch
+xxFallenKnight take a seat as you get :served:
if I had that car i would be giggling like that myself
He is having fun, driving a nice car, being entertaining, and a human.
I prefered the gto interior over the camaro cts v and the corvette. I have an 04 m6 and in the last 2years I have seen 3 others on the road. The cars drive well stock, when dialed in they handle excellent.
He put his foot in it and pissed himself hahah
My son's Goat just came off the dyno. 604hp at the wheels, & 618torgue. I had my H3 in the shop so I got to drive his Goat to work the other day. This was the FIRST time I was happy that I worked so far from home....haha
wow what mods did he have? nitrous or FI
HOLDEN?
HOLD THIS L DEN
THIS IS A PONTIAC NICE REVIEW
Love my 05’. No one seems to know these cars where I live. Surrounded by mustangs and Ricers
Holy crap that sounds beastly and I despise anything American
Its Australian
+eXozGaming the motor is a Chevy V8. An American motor.
Nate Floris ls2
It's a holden cv8z in Australia . They aren't cheap either $30000 average km
Australian car. Ive never driven one but I’d like to!
awesome review. i myself just bought an 04 pontiac gto 5.7 ls1 6 speed. this car is great i knew it was going to be fast but i wasnt expecting it to ride, handle, and hook up as well as it does. All the things i had on the list to upgrade got thrown out the widow after a few shake down runs. great and cheap car to start out with.
"makes a great first car for many people". No. a $1500 beater is nore likely
+David Mills All I'm saying is the majority of 16 year olds can't afford a car like this
+David Mills The cheapest I've ever seen one is 8 grand
That steering wheel is so ugly!
blind much?
Another great review. Love these cars very affordable for the amount of power you can make. Very tasteful mods and a great looking car.
Dude that fuckin exhaust tho!!! It sounds soooo nasty! I Love it!!! Now This is a Driver Enthusiast's car!! One Question!!!!! GTO or G8 GXP!! Which One would YOU choose??
+omarrianowilson9 Probably the GTO. I like coupes and manuals.
+subaruwrxfan gxp's are the only G8 model that come in stick!
+omarrianowilson9 None! The G6 GXP!
+Omarr Longway GTO lighter bro. has one door but great room in the back.
+Chris Pacheco why on gods green earth did you just bring up a damn g6?
Those might be the most underrated car ever
