After posting this video, it is clear that some things may have been lost in translation. I will clear a few of them up. I am not regretful or feeling negative about the blessing of a child. I am extremely excited and grateful. To have a loving wife and be able to have children was all I ever wanted. I was simply pointing out that I am aware life becomes a lot more testing when one has a child. Going from being responsible for only myself, to being responsible for my marriage, to being responsible for my family brings about opportunities to reflect and address internal dialogue. I have shared some of this dialogue here. Accepting one’s circumstances and doing nothing about them may be alright for some. People have different callings in life, different expectations of themselves and different approaches to situations. I have always put my wife and family first. I always will. However, successful, healthy relationships are dependant on the individuals in those relationships being happy and feeling fulfilled. I see it as a positive thing that I am able to identify, acknowledge and act on the issues that arise internally. I also mentioned early in the video that when I was young, I was distracted by things such as the opposite sex and partying. I guess this paints a picture in people’s heads and they see the worst. I went to a boy’s school and was always curious about love. I’ve spoken on this in previous videos. I found love and emotions fascinating and growing up in the environment I did, there was a lot of access to social environments. This does not mean that I was an animal with no regard. I simply explored a side of life that was unknown to me. I understand how this can come across, but this was not the reality. Many people waste their youth. I had many positive experiences and I also made many bad choices. Show me the person that didn’t. Allah has continued to show me His mercy and blessings. Such is His glory. If you do have any issues, please take them up with the Lord, but first look at how He has favoured you. His mercy knows no bounds. The truth can be painful. You have to tear away at all the walls you have built up. It reveals parts of us that are hard to face. Ugly truths. It takes honesty and intelligence to address these. Don’t shy away from facing the truth and healing the broken parts of yourself. And don’t suffer in silence. The voices inside you come from somewhere. Not all of them belong to Shaytaan. Our generation is so accustomed to instant gratification and high on dopamine, there are loads of youtube videos on it. Babies/kids don't cater to that, they challenge it as they have needs we as parents need to meet, nappies, feeding, buying clothes etc, with no thank you or pat on the back. So it's hard and selfless, and feels daunting but it develops us so much internally and there's so much content and peace once you break through that and feel joy in the small things and serving them and the little laughs and things kids do. Well done for being honest, may Allah grant your baby and Amara a safe delivery and arrival and make the transition and parent/family life easy for you, it will be more enjoyable than you're imagining.

Salaam sister, We should all be repenting for the sins we have committed. Allah is the most merciful and we repent to him, not to society. I accept that there is a difference between the way men and women will be received partaking in certain acts, especially in specific regions on the world. However, as I mentioned in the comment I pinned, the mind wanders when one says “interested in women and partying”. People are triggered and automatically see zina and khamar. This is not what I was speaking on. More being distracted and intrigued by a certain lifestyle and having access to circles that I didn’t before. We can deep dive and explore it all in another video, but I totally understand the concern on a societal level. We all sin and the only way we make it anywhere is with the permission and mercy of Allah. Opinions of people have no power over anything in the context of repentance etc. Nonetheless, I pray Allah allows me to guide others who are tested with similar struggles in youth and life. And I pray Allah showers you with blessings in this life and the next.

Our generation is so accustomed to instant gratification and high on dopamine, there are loads of youtube videos on it. Babies/kids don't cater to that, they challenge it as they have needs we as parents need to meet, nappies, feeding, buying clothes etc, with no thank you or pat on the back. So it's hard and selfless, and feels daunting but it develops us so much internally and there's so much content and peace once you break through that and feel joy in the small things and serving them and the little laughs and things kids do. Well done for being honest, may Allah grant your baby and Amara a safe delivery and arrival and make the transition and parent/family life easy for you, it will be more enjoyable than you're imagining.

We should all be repenting for the sins we have committed. Allah is the most merciful and we repent to him, not to society. I accept that there is a difference between the way men and women will be received partaking in certain acts, especially in specific regions on the world. However, as I mentioned in the comment I pinned, the mind wanders when one says “interested in women and partying”. People are triggered and automatically see zina and khamar. This is not what I was speaking on. More being distracted and intrigued by a certain lifestyle and having access to circles that I didn’t before. We can deep dive and explore it all in another video, but I totally understand the concern on a societal level. We all sin and the only way we make it anywhere is with the permission and mercy of Allah. Opinions of people have no power over anything in the context of repentance etc.
Nonetheless, I pray Allah allows me to guide others who are tested with similar struggles in youth and life. And I pray Allah showers you with blessings in this life and the next.
