I watched Bad Wolves perform this live when they supported Nickelback in Melbourne in 2019. The lead singer was literally in tears talking about their experience working with Delores before she passed. Just incredible!
Rest in Peace Dolores O'Riordan I think The Bad Wolves certainly did The Cranberries justice with this song. I don't know why I get chills everytime I hear this song.
I think so top, but a few minuts ago i read that the cranberries di the Bad wolves for the Cover. Sad World where such wonderful Tribute gets insulted from the ex bandmembers of the original track/Band. Ungrateful
You should check out 'Remember When' by Bad Wolves. It talks about his twin brother who went to prison for attempting to kill the singer while high during a home invasion. Crazy story to read about nonetheless.
Tom Booth He did kill him, I believe he was dead for a few minutes. something like that.. Crazy stuff, I can't imagine being beat to death by a brother, let alone a twin..
@@topdog4578 Actually his being dead for a bit was from an accident, but yeah because he was messed up over the issues with his brother. But yeah that's the story dealing with his twin in that song!!

They did very well with this cover. I had heard this a couple of months ago, and was blown away with it. Dolores would have been proud and I know the members of the surviving members of the Cranberries are pleased with it
I seen this show live. The crowed literally lite it up. And the bad wolves in Lethbridge alb. We’re awesome. They wanted to meet the crowd. And they did. Such a great band. And humans. Much love 🤘🏻❤️
The imagery in the video is as powerful as the words.. The veil between this world and the next, and the woman in gold, who represents Delores, covers it with paint to signify she is gone... Heavy stuff.
Amazingly beautiful cover. The Golden Goddess was Deloris in the original Jamal, which makes it even more to the heart in the clip. Thank you my friend
She'll be golden forever in the souls of those of us who remember first hearing her. Bad Wolves have done a great honor to a great singer. Good on those boys.
O'Riordan ( O REAR DONE) FAntastic tribute cover RIP Dolores O'Riordan. His changed lyrics bring it forward to show it's still a current issue between the 2, Unionists and those who desire their own National Irish identity separate from GB.You could almost hear some keening in his vocals.. amazing
I bought the Cranberries CASETTE tape at the mall when it first came out. Ran to my car, put it into the tape player and rocked out all the way home! Showing ny age. I love this version too. It is dark and pulls in the macabre elements perfectly.
She has a just amazing cover of a Fleetwood Mac song, Go Your Own Way. Small studio, live version. We that know miss her so much, forever. God bless the wolves for updating and spreading her soul.
This song, this 'cover' gives me Chills and Tears at the same time! The passion and conviction in his voice is something else! Bad Wolves definitely did this song justice, I love when the band rocks out on the chorus also and Delores would be proud 🥲 So sad she didn't get to be there with them to do it, so sad that she left this world 💔May she Rest in Paradise 🙏
This song was so much part of my identity and early twenties . Working abroad in a foreign language , this song came out and proudly let me immerse myself in .., Irishness . I grew up in the seventies like Dolores and felt the shame and despair over our beautiful islands involvement in terrorism and murder. This song was our island saying stop .., not in our name. Much respect to the Bad Wolves … they nailed it . I’m in tears watching … memories flooding back .
When I first heard someone was covering Zombie I was super skeptical. They did an amazing job honoring the original and adding their own spin. Very powerful
The subtle changes in the lyrics , they share the pain all these years later. It's a song that has such relevance beyond the conflict in Northern Ireland.
I read a comment a while ago that said the Cranberries version was a mothers warning and this cover is dad's anger because moms warning wasn't heard/headed. It hits different when thought of like that.
Another great reaction. Always look forward to hearing your thoughts. Your musical knowledge and intellectual insight sets you apart from the others! Keep it up!
It was already an amazingly powerful, emotional song, but to cover it and honor it the way they did was incredible, fantastic job!! When they touched hands on the glass
OMG I love this version even more than the original. RIP Delores. You should also watch & listen to the cover of Sound of Silence by Disturbed dated 3-28-16 from the Conan O'Brien show.
He changed the lyric in this song from "It's the same old theme since 1916" to "in 2018". 1916 was the Easter Rising here in Ireland when we fought the British to have an Irish Republic and get out from the British rule. It's an excellent cover
So happy you got to check these guys out and their cover to this song. Definitely check out Remember when And Sober. All their lyrics are deep and amazing

The passion that you here is real! Doloris, the original singer of this song was sing zombie while bad wolves backed her. Right before this could happen she passed on. This song is a tribute not a cover song. RIP
The way you leaned in before the first chorus dropped ready to pause the video, but then leaned back because you realized they were about to melt your off was priceless!
Hi, Jamel, I watched your video on the original and appreciate the homework you did before watching it, great job! The Bad Wolves tribute paid to Delores in this song with her vision makes it even more emotional. Notice how Delores ghost, writes her date of death 1-15-18 into the mud from the other-side along with her in gold tying back to the Cranberries original video, is epic!
They did an amazing job with this song & mad respect to them esp giving all proceeds to Delores' family. May Delores rest in peace. My 8 year old daughter absolutely loves this song
The Black Wolves are immensely talented band. But if they never record another piece of music, they must know this cover stands on its own for its fantastic musical artistry, in every way.
Bad Wolves sound actually quite familiar to FFDP :D But WHAT an amazing cover dude o.0. You should try Beast in Black - Blind and Frozen HIS voice is beyond believe! :)
