- The beauty of live music featuring two of Canada’s finest is never knowing what to expect if both team up for a surprise duet. Case in point - Matt Andersen invited Terra Lightfoot to join him on stage for a pair of tunes last night at Jammin' Java, and together they blew the roof off the building with this cover of “l Shall Be Released,” the classic hit by fellow Canadians, The Band.
LOVE the way these two sound together
My first concert. And with the man I loved with all ounce of myself. I will forever go to a Matt concert in memory of Alex.
Have sang the song many times in church man and I am so in all of you guys
This made my soul smile and gave me goosebumps. Excellent performance.
They have quite the chemistry. Thanks for taking time to enjoy the tune.
love this come to New Zealand please
I saw you both in Cleveland last year! Oh, so good!! I hope you return soon! 😍
Great show
Matt Anderson ur awesome man
Terra , I came looking for a cover of I shall be Released, by Carolyna Lovely and Craig McIntyre and stumbled across this, and wow!
Hi Brenda. Terra always puts on a great show - this duet with Matt Andersen was so good to hear live.
Wow speechless…
Please come back to England soon, Matt ❤️
Holy frak. 🔥🇨🇦🔥🇨🇦🔥
Frak? Is that like A friggiddy?😂👊
@@forfuxakes6814 Lol. Good question -- I'll admit I'm not familiar with "friggiddy". It's just my go-to eff bomb replacement when I'm trying to be moderately polite online. Sadly I can't remember where I first saw it or who came up with it so I'm unable to offer any citation/credit.
Battlestar Galactica people
👏🔥
these two are Incredible together. wow so powerful. Bob Dylan wrote it tho`
As a proud Canadian this brings me joy. However, despite The Band being involved in the original basement tapes version....this is 100% American Bob Dylan's creation. But there is a huge Canadian influence in the music...but can't take Canadian credit for Mr Dylan.
Only cover i think its the best
This was the song that he was singing when he was having to do those stupid Shamu shows. Thank God he's back in the ocean now where he belongs.
