Every once in a while, something comes around that just leaves you speechless. This brief collaboration between Ariane Roy, Thierry Larose, and Lou-Adriane Cassidy - collectively Le Roy la Rose et le Lou[p] - shows how vibrant the Québecois music scene is today. This incredibly talented trio performed their penultimate show at the Festival de la Poutine in Drummondville, QC, delivering this highly energetic version of Ariane’s “Tu voulais parler.”

We’ve often heard Huntsville, ON artist Briar Summers perform tunes associated with some of her female musical influences - but this may be the first time we witnessed a cover version of “Stuttering,” the 2010 hit alt-pop tune from Toronto’s Fefe Dobson. Great job Briar!

Our earliest recollection of hearing tunes from Karkwa dates back to just after the release of their 2008 “Le Volume Du Vent” album - so it was extra special to witness the band closing their amazing set at the Festival de la Poutine with this performance of the album track, “Échapper au sort.”

So happy for Orville Peck's success, He's been attracting a lot of fans and famous duet partners over these past few album releases, very well done!
We could not miss this show, especially being so local for us - and we encourage anybody in cities on his tour schedule to attend if possible, lest they miss out on an awesome opportunity to catch an excellent artist who has likely not yet come close to hitting his prime. Good career ahead for Peck.
