    Yes it worked when i tried. My daughter n i spent some father-daughter time cleaning up my Maserati Quattrporte. Now i hav clean beautiful stereo buttons. Wil work on climate control buttons some other day. It take patience n be careful cleaning actual buttons bcoz u dont wanna break the clicking mechanism. Local Ferrari/Maserati dealer has a solution n wants USD$9,000 (nine thousand) for the same job. It cost me USD$30 n a good 30minutes.

      It might have cost you $30 but in all honesty - you’ve gained sooo much doing this with your daughter, showing her how little things can fix little problems that you have actually „earned“ in the process. Both of you.
      I started doing this with my son and it is soooo worth it.

    It works well in advance, but you have to apply several times and wait 5-10 min between. Then my friends a good microfiber cloth that does not fluff. Rub and rub like an obsessed. The result will be amazing !! Many thanks for the tip.

    • @SgtKanyo
      @SgtKanyo 4 роки тому

      Same here, I noticed I had to apply it at least 2 times, wait 5 mins then scrub with the rougher part of a used microfiber towel, but still keeping an eye out for the paint. I was afraid it might get off.

    I heard that lemon oil would work great to get rid any stickyness on any surface but should not be applied on plastic as it would damage it. Looks good on your car. Will try this on mine, i like that it is natural product.

    thx for video, i know old but, if you see this. while you are holding bottle of Dunlop against button, are you squeezing the bottle after the initial priming of pad? Are you just using the pad to rub in the product? or are you squeezing to get more product on?

    • @IfixmyBenz
      @IfixmyBenz  Рік тому

      Hello ! The pad should always be soaked in order to distribute the product on the surface to be treated. However, you should not squeeze the bottle continuously. If you squeeze the bottle too much, the pad will not only be soaked, it will be saturated with oil and the oil will start to drip. This is not what we want. So you have to squeeze the bottle to soak the pad. Then you spread the product by rubbing the pad on the button, but without squeezing the bottle. When the pad is dry, you squeeze the bottle again to soak the pad. And so on... 😉
