Another great instructional video that should be useful to anyone in this trade. I have not really run across that sticky button issue but we do have a Maserati dealer, I'll let them know that we can fix that problem. Must have been a nice day you were in short sleeves!

I was told makeup remover swabs will work as well. Is that true? Also, thank you for posting the video. Very helpful.

That may very well work, I don't know. Of course, here we endeavor to highlight the specific industrial chemical for the technicians. Thanks for adding that in!

Did you mention an actual name-brand wipe? Or what the active ingredients are?

Love your videos, just something about restoration that keeps me drawn in. Started at 21. 38 next, still consuming knowledge and still fixing furniture. I had a nice job today where a heavy duty mobility rise and recliner had a snapped and bent scissor, needed a full new mechanism, one of the bolts to remove the arm was blocked behind one of the scissors and there was very little room for any tools to get acsses. I drilled out one of the rivets to be able to move the scissors away from the fixtures which inturn allowed the removal of the arm frame. A 60 min job turned into two hours, Due to other complications. But you can't beat the joy on the customers face when you get the problem resolved and the item of furniture back into service. Sometimes you have to break something to fix it, my only problem is sometimes it's hard not to overthink a problem, and I wasted time trying to find other solutions to the problem, when drilling the rivets took 10 mins I could have saved some time by not over thinking the problem to begin with, every day is a learning day. Keep up the good work, I watch all your videos

I don't have the spray rig for the clear coat. Is anyone aware of a wipe-on clear that can be used after the sticky is removed. What I've found is that the stickiness returns without this last step. I'm guessing, we're just removing the top layer of stickiness and then the next layer breaks down, causing a recurring mess.

Unfortunately on the W211 e class mercedes, there's one piece of the interior that has this soft touch coating, the headlamp switch. Isopropyl will definitely take it off, but will also take off the icons unfortunately.

Rick I’ve tried to call but your listed number is disconnected. You don’t give a way for customers to call or email in your videos. Are you no longer for hire?
